Jacqui was superb ! I was facilitated with a very early morning “ grab and go “ breakfast which was delicious! I really appreciated this offer as it made my day so much easier . The welcome from her daughter was welcoming and I was enabled to check in mid afternoon. The room was fantastic! Great ambiance and spacious as well as being beautifully decorated in period fashion in keeping with the history of the house character. Spotlessly clean . The beautiful brass bed stead was fitted with a soft comfy mattress ( my preferred option is much firmer but this was fine for the night ) Wooden shutters on the windows as well as heavy curtains ensured a great night without noise or light disturbance. All in all just superb!!

Location and breakfast were highlights for us! Breakfast was amazing!!! Hosts are gracious! It’s a beautiful home.
Tub was gorgeous but had no plug so we couldn’t use it. Our bedroom was cramped for the two of us and had to put luggage outside in hallway. Our boys room was large and good for the three teens. Traveling as a couple it would have been better-but we are a crowd! It was expensive but that’s to be expected needing two rooms. We didn’t know if we should/could use family room and kitchen after hours so we tucked into our rooms, which were very clean. Breakfast really was special and we very much enjoyed talking to the hosts!

I had a very brief stayover but it was a great location literally 2min walk from train station that brings you direct to city centre. My own work brought me further southside but buses run regularly nearby also so its ideally placed. Some eateries just nearby plus a pub just on the corner with music and food too. A very beautiful home full of art and colour and very comfortable rooms, clean and warm. Plus a piano :) The Tv came with a variety of channels including netflix option. Breakfast was a lovely spread with lots of options and the owners were very friendly. Highly recommend.
Can't fault the place at all. The bathroom wasn't en suite but it was impeccably clean and could be easily partitioned from rest of house If I chose to.

The host was amazing - real attention to detail with a shot each night and nice knick-knacks. I loved the breakfast and when saying we couldn't make breakfast for final night made a point to make sure we had sandwiches and snacks to keep us going at airport. Although not central we were close to the bullet which helped and appreciated being given advice for ST Patrick's Day parade. When I come back to Dublin on another holiday, hopefully the B&B is available again!
Honestly nothing I can think of - one of my favourite places and wish I'd reviewed sooner! Feels like best kept secret

I had an absolutely delightful experience during my 3 night stay at Blackrock B&B !!! The place looks like a boutique, amazingly beautifully decorated. The host was exceptionally friendly and attentive, going out of her way to ensure I was happy and comfortable. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed. I especially appreciated the location, the cozy bed, the stunning views and the delicious breakfast. The overall ambiance of the place was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and hassle-free stay!!!

We had a wonderful stay at this charming B&B near the German embassy in Blackrock. The location is perfect, close to the sea, a lovely park, and the village full of great pubs and restaurants. It felt like a mini holiday, especially with the beautiful weather! Our room was elegant and beautifully decorated, with a super comfy bed. Breakfast was fantastic, both the full Irish and veggie Irish were delicious, and the selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, yoghurts, juice and cereals was impressive. Huge thanks to Jerry and Jacquie for their hospitality!

Fantastic Breakfast made to order. Beautiful home. Felt like I was staying in an old higher class home in Ireland. Owner was friendly and helpful. The room was large and the private bathroom very modern and well laid out. The dining area was well lit and looked out on a beautiful garden. Peeked into the kitchen, which was ultra modern and beautifully laid out. Would definitely stay here when back in Dublin. Parking was convenient at the train station, which was literally minutes from the front door.
Nothing.

Very nice house. Delicious breakfast. The house isn't in the center of Dublin, byt you can reach the center by train. The house is near to the station. Very quiet place. The room was comfortable, there was tea and coffee. In the bathroom a set of towels and a nice body wash set. There's a delicious pizzeria on the way to the station. We really liked it. The owners are nice people. I wish prosperity to their business.
The temperature of the hot water dropped rapidly, and by the third person the water was cold. Notice the kettle inside. But the memories are still very positive and I don't regret my choice.

The breakfast - OMG! Where do I begin? Full Irish breakfast, made to order and the table was filled with breakfast breads/scones, yogurt parfaits, fruit, cheeses and meats, and toast. So good and couldn't resist doing it all again the next day. We pre-arranged to check in early as our flight arrived early. We had a small glitch with this but it was quickly resolved and we all crashed into such comfortable beds and slept well. The room was good sized. There were 3 of us and my teenage daughter enjoyed her twin bed (not a pull out couch) so everyone was comfortable. The bathroom while small had everything one needed including nice shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. It was like being in a higher end hotel. There are a few restaurants and pubs nearby that we enjoyed. We even picked in the park down by the seafront. Couldn't ask for a better location for the Booterstown Dart Station into central Dublin about 15 min. We took an Airbus coach from the airport and were dropped a 5 minute walk from the place. Just perfect. We couldn't have had a better start to our Ireland trip. We felt as if we were family. Also, pre-arrival, the owners were very responsive to inquiries.
