Excellent central location near everything - restaurants all around but wonderful windows - can't hear outside noise even though it's on a busy street. Well-equipped modern apartment. Appreciate door codes instead of actual keys. Roof patio with great views (see picture) was incredible to relax on cool nights. It wasn't clear on the description but master bedroom is on the main floor and the other with 3 single beds is upstairs (tall stairs) with the outside roof patio. Ideal for active adults but not for family with little kids you expect to leave alone in their own room or anyone who have problems going up and down stairs.

Check in - I was told we would receive info 24 hours before but we didn't get it until after I asked again a few hours before we landed in Porto. We weren't told someone would be coming into the apartment 2 days in - to change towels we think (we were there for 4 days only).

Great central location. Could walk to everything we wished to see and you can also walk to the coast if you don’t mind walking. The apartment was modern and comfortable, with a balcony outlook over the street. Lots of bars and restaurants all around. Close to river as well.

A few gripes. Items like ironing board and frying pan were missing. This didn’t bother us too much but kitchen in general could be better stocked with glasses and crockery. Also lighting in kitchen area is very poor - no direct lighting. The apartment was clean but closer inspections on maintenance needed by management as mould on ceiling and wallpaper peeling in bathroom - suspect ventilation fan not working properly.

The location is the best. Very central. Car parking is nearby, but costs 30 euros per day. The facilities and the decor are fantastic, a sweet place. The terrace view is beautiful. I'd go back here again.

We were during peak season so the price was a bit high. The internet wasn't that strong on the second floor. And the parquet felt not 100% clean, maybe if there was a vacuum cleaner, it could have helped. But really minor things, still recommend this place.

The shutters and double glazed doors / windows were great allowing control of air light and noise. Air Con appreciated on hot days. Sitting room was spacious, bathroom is a good space and kitchenette and washing machine was excellent.

Downside is some of the bathroom fittings are pulling out of the wall. Shower has no set down, so water escapes onto main floor unless you’re careful with the direction of the shower head.

We never received the text that would give us the codes for entry to the building and our apartment. We needed to make a call to get them.

I truly appreciate all the help and information from the wonderful two women that maintain the apartments and building. Spotless my apartment was. Any question I had or help needed when they were in the building they always were more that happy to assist with everything. Walking distance to groceries stores-sites-shopping-river-safe area on main street and much more.

When arrival getting the code to enter apartment was not as stated. Apartment was not equipped as stated. If you chose to cook, common utensils are little to none as other amenities listed. I think the day rate is somewhat high for not having all the amenities as listed as well as someone available in a timely manor, other the housekeeping.

The apartment was very spacious & had everything needed. A huge bonus was finding 3 bathrooms - one for each of us - what an unexpected luxury! The codes for the front entrance & apartment door were provided by email in good time and access was easy and reliable. The location was fantastic - very central to many meeting places & activities, restaurants, shops & bars.

The location of this apartment is perfect--just a few minutes away from Sao Bento train station and also a few minutes from the Ribeira. The apartment itself is glamorous and cozy, with a loft bedroom, a full bath upstairs, and a half bath downstairs. This was really convenient. The apartment also has a washing machine.

Elevator in the building, easy 7-10 minute walk to the historic river front, 2 minute walk to Sao Bento station, very close to restaurants of varying price ranges, separation of the bedrooms on 2 levels, roof top terrace

Mini-split air conditioners in rooms somewhat difficult to operate, there can be moderate street noise at night (though it did not interfere with sleep)
