I came to the hotel in urgent need of a room for my last three nights in Florence after having a horrible experience at previous accommodation. As a solo traveller I was very anxious when I arrived and was immediately put at ease by Paul at reception. They sat me down with water and showed me by room before asking me to book. They even gave me free breakfast the following morning. The room was just what I needed for my last few nights. The staff were so kind. I would definitely stay here again. The walk down the river every morning was lovely.

Due to the urgent need for a room and the last minute nature of my booking the only room left was a single bed room. If I came back I would definitely book a bigger room, for comfort. However, the room had everything I needed.

We recently stayed at the Sonetto Hotel by Sonder in Florence for three nights with our two little ones, and it was truly an exceptional experience! The room was perfect for a family – it felt more like a cozy home than a typical hotel room, which made it easy for everyone to relax. The kids were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Everything was spotless, which we really appreciated. The location was ideal for exploring Florence! We were able to walk easily to all the main attractions in the city center, which made sightseeing so much more enjoyable and convenient, especially with young children in tow. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. On the day of our check-out, one of the team members even helped us book a hotel in Pisa over the phone when our online booking wasn’t working.

This was my favorite place I stayed in Florence and have been many times. The location is perfect walking distance to absolutely everything, it's in a very quiet area, extremely safe and was the perfect end to my Italy trip. Nicole was so beyond amazing and supportive during our stay, she had amazing dinner recommendations and helped us out tremendously. She made us feel like we were staying at our own apartment not a hotel. Grazie mille Sonetto and Nicole!! I can't wait to come back and visit.

Nothing, our stay was lovely!

I had a delightful 10-day stay at The Sonetto. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcomed from the moment I arrived. The bathroom and room were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed with modern amenities. The hotel's central location made it convenient to explore the city and access various attractions. I especially appreciated the kindness of Paul and Erika.

The AC was not working well in the first room but they promptly transferred me to a better room.

Everything. The shower was stunning and water pressure perfect. Location was spectacular, we were able to walk everywhere. Staff were delightful and always super friendly and helpful, especially as there was no elevator ? (however this was not an issue for us as we packed light). Rooms are spacious and very comfortable.

Property was lovely and exactly what we needed for a few very busy days in Florence.

Everything was perfect

This hotel was in a quieter area of Florence but very close to Santa Croce and popular tourist attraction by foot. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The bed was comfortable and the room modern and clean. I would highly recommend!

It was a little over our budget but worth every penny!

My room was spacious with high ceiling, nicely designed, cosy and warm (I was there in winter). It was very clean and smelt great. The bed was comfortable with good quality bedsheets and perfect pillows. I could sleep very well. There were wooden floors, nice lighting and a great shower. I also liked the location as I could walk everywhere, and it was close to Sant'Ambrogio which is a nice, less touristy area. It felt very safe as well. All the staff I met were super friendly, polite, helpful, and simply great at their job. There was a kettle, a coffee machine, and a fridge in the room but I had to unplug it at night as it was very loud. There were plenty of plugs incl. USB ones.

Loud bathroom fan and loud fridge. Also, the hotel charged me straight away after I booked even though I was well within the free cancellation period. This hadn't happened to me before.

All of the staff that we interacted with were amazing; they were always friendly, happy, and helpful and they all worked together to make our stay a perfect holiday in Florence. We would like to especially thank Parves, Erica, Nicole, Paul and Stephanie for all they did, great people!

They should add a small gym to the facility.
