The place was very serene, about 5mins walk to Grayson Shopping Centre & KFC and about 10mins drive to Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton Mall & Benmore Shopping Centre. The staff were very friendly and always ready to assist you especially the waiters/waitress example Xola and one fair and slim lady. The security was top notched. The ladies who did the housekeeping were very polite and hardworking especially Madam Patricia. I also liked the way towels are changed everyday. I will always recommend Road Lodge if you need to stay and relax in Sandton. Kudos to the entire team.

If bedside fridges are provided in every room, though they have ice-block making machine and uv-technology water cooling system at the reception.

This hotel was good. I really enjoyed my stay. I would definitely visit again. The wifi was good, swimming pool looked clean and fun (although we didn't swim as the weather was pouring), the in-house restuarant and bar was refreshing to see - giving us less reasons to go outside - I just thought the prices were a bit inflated - given that we've already paid a hefty sum of money for our 2-night stay (15-16 February 2025). This is definitely a valentine-worthy destination!😁❤🙌 All in all, I don't have any complaints, just a couple of suggestions: 1. Please install some refridgerators in the roomfor us to keep our food and drinks in, if possible. 2. My partner also suggested the installation of some microwaves to keep our foods warm and ready at all times!

Everything except that we were many in the loung

for the second time, and while the experience was generally good, I noticed an area for improvement in their dining service. Both times, there seemed to be only one waiter serving, even though there were many guests. This led to long waiting times for our orders – around 40 minutes in my last visit. While the staff was friendly and tried their best, having more waitstaff would really improve the dining experience, especially during busy times. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but I hope they consider this adjustment to make future visits even better.

The breakfast should have had more variety but the cook was good and welcoming. Daily menu was identical. Would have wanted unexpected meals! Area was very good within walking distance to a small sized mall ( The room staff was very polite and punctual The bed was soft. Bedsheets and towels changed on a daily basis Food was good. Especially the salad (95R) and pasta for my boys! Would definitely come back. Same room as a communicating door between my room and my boys'!

No Netflix in the bedroom or anywhere on the premises Kitchen staff was lost once there were more guests than usual Reception empty (twice) when returning late at night Sometimes, parking cones were not moved away when coming back late with Uber Reception had no adaptors to lend and not enough plugs in the dining area

The price was reasonable and budget friendly, the staff were super friendly and helpful, my 10 year old son, Yaya was super impressed with the hotel staff, the food and the Free Wifi, he gave them a rating of 4.5 he said he wanted to give 5 stars but because of the Bad Tv reception and no nice channels its a 4.5. no one asked him to rate though it was just out of the blue.

the pillows were too soft. it was like they were not even there. But otherwise everything was on point.

She never ignores any of our team instructions ... even the restaurant chef and the waiters are very kind .. Thank you for the great experience ❤️ I will visit again soon...

Accommodation, staff and placement in area was absolutely amazing. Loved the pool area and the fact that there was wifi in case we needed to do any work. Rooms were cosy and staff came in to tidy (was surprised).

The light in the laundry room(ironing room) went out when I needed to Iron clothing. The TV network was down on all channels. I assumed there would be a small tube of toothpaste, but that was my own silliness. Lol

The location is good , close to some shops and restaurants . The room was big enough didn't feel cramped at all .The hotel is in an area that's mostly quite so good for resting .

There was no mini fridge in the room and I did struggle a bit to locate my room the first time . Construction happening next door didnt quite help with the noise but I do understand that its not the property's fault .

Unfortunately I never ate breakfast, because I felt I wanted to rest and eat later after completing my assignment there.

The food, in fact that was my only problem, eating French fries everyday was becoming too hectic for me, no rice meal, am a Ghanaian and so had to send for a food I can enjoy at least. They could even provide some Chinese style fried rice so that we can also enjoy the eating there.

The whole property was appealing at first sight. It looks exactly as shown on the app. The staff is awesome, Me and my lady bought some food outside of the hotel and the woman in the kitchen kindly provided us with some clean and warm plates to help us even though we had not officially checked in. Long story short, the staff and the place are awesome and the room are as clean as it gets. Also, the location is ideal Sandton is a pretty safe and beautiful place to live in.

Well, I would have hoped with that price, that is quite reasonable given the chick nature of the place, to have free breakfast at least and perhaps pay for dinner but that would not stop me from check in there as soon as I am back to Johannesburg.
