The Hotel was Excellent. It is located right near the city center. Rooms was large and neat. The breakfast was good. Staff was very helpful and where ready to answer our queries anytime. Would definitely recommend.

The parking can be frustrating. We need to park the car outside and visit the reception to open the barrier. If you plan to use the car regularly it can be frustrating at times. There was road works while I visited and getting the parking in front of the hotel was not easy. Maybe create a parking card like the room card for people who use the parking.

#1, The staff was the best ever. Because of the staff, I felt like I was in a much more expensive hotel. #2, The location is ideal, because it's through a short tunnel in the hill from the old town. So it's very close to most everything. We walked through the walking tunnel or we took a quick bus ride (the staff told us how) to the old town. (There is a tunnel for walkers and a tunnel for cars/buses.) Out back, from our window of the hotel, we could see that we were in a cove of the hill with expensive big houses with lots of trees, plus the cliff of the hill: beautiful! Especially compared with the hotels that are cramped into the tiny streets of the old town. #3, Extremely clean room and bathroom. #4, Go to the roof top in the evening to relax on lounge chairs! It's nothing fancy up there, but it's a perk for weary vacationers. #5 Nice Area: We felt very safe walking through the tunnel late at night, and walking in the neighborhood of the hotel.

The hallway carpets had stains. The breakfast was not vegan friendly.

Location is pretty good just a couple of bus stops away from the city center as well as a direct bus line to the train station. Bus service is amazing in this city and we never has to wait more than 5 minutes at any time. The hotel staff was great and even extended our check out time for free. The room was nice and spacious, nice style decor and super comfy bed. Loved the complimentary water and coffee capsules. The bathroom was a bit dated but OK in general. Breakfast was really good, everything was tasty.

Some more breakfast options would be appreciated. The bathroom could use a bit of an update.

The location was perfect; we moved around easily. The hotel staff was welcoming, too; the room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel met our expectations. I recommend it primarily because of the location, as it is practically in the old historic centre, but in a tranquil and friendly area (good for travelling with children).

The breakfast area is small, and it gets busy depending on the hour. We had to wait one day to be seated, but it wasn't long. The hotel could benefit from a different reception area, as it is close to the restaurant and confusing for who is checking in and out.

My family and I enjoyed our recent stay in the hotel. It was centrally located in the heart of the Old City. Public transportation was nearby. The breakfast buffet was delicious and varied. And the staff was accommodating and helpful. Farid, in particular, was a tremendous help. All of his restaurant recommendations were spot on and we were able to sample some excellent traditional Salzburger cuisine.

The bed was a bit too firm for us. And while it was okay for a two night stay, I wouldn’t recommend it for more than a couple of nights. My wife wound up sleeping on the sofa bed on our second night and she told me that she had a better sleep than the first night on the regular bed.

The room was all new and very clean. Beds were comfortable. There was a coffee machine in the room with free coffee bags. We were welcomed with a free bottle of mineral water. The hotel location was really good, very close to an underground walkway that leads to the old town. Getting to the hotel from the train main station was also easy by bus because there's a bus stop really close to the hotel. The staff was really nice. We needed an early breakfast on the day of the checkout and they promptly arranged it. Breakfast was also always very good, with many options of food and drinks.

The best experience you can ever have, with the highest customer service ever received. Our car broke down in Salzburg on the way to France. I found this lovely hotel on Booking, and despite the system failure that allowed me to book a night even though the hotel was full (as it was literally the end of the year), the staff went the extra length to create a comfortable stay for us. We were traveling with a baby, and they even managed to find a cot for her at the last minute. I have never met so many kind and professional people. The room was absolutely lovely, comfortable, very clean, with a huge bed and a charming bathroom. The breakfast offered a high-quality food selection, perfect for every age and every diet. We ended up staying for an additional night while waiting for our car. The level of support, understanding, and kindness we have received especially from Michael, is something we will never forget and will be forever grateful for.

Breakfast was good, lots of choice and replenished regularly, they even had lactose free milk!! The staff were so helpful, really good English (we did try our German on them) and so knowledgable about the area. I can’t pick just one person, they were all brilliant… desk staff, cleaners, breakfast servers etc etc. The location is just the other side of the tunnel, so easy to navigate your way around. No 10 bus to/from the airport. No 1 bus to/from train station, bus stop almost outside the door. If we come back to Salzburg we will stay here. Thank you very one for making it such a pleasant stay.

Fresh decaf coffee would be nice. Maybe 1 English speaking entertainment tv channel… hubby was poorly one day and it would have entertained him.

Very good location. for visiting this beautiful city A five minutes walk into the old town (via either of the two pedestrian tunnels cut into the cliff) where many highlights are to be found, e.g. cathedral/churches, castle, river, Sound of Music aspects, etc. The bus stops for the No.10 bus from/to the airport (3 euros, runs every 15 mins with a journey time of 15-20 minutes) are more or less right outside the hotel. A simple, clean and quiet room. A kettle was provided upon request. Friendly staff. We did not avail ourselves of breakfast because, at 16 euros per person per day, we thought this to be expensive, instead we bought croissants and other breakfast items from the supermarket (Billa) in the old town. Would definitely stay at this hotel again. A restaurant in the old town called Tasty Yuki serves wonderful Asian cuisine at a reasonable price, one of the best meals we have ever had, delicious.

Unless we were doing something wrong, the shower head directed the water spray almost horizontally rather than down.

Great location, only a short walk to town through the tunnel. The hotel is tidy, the rooms are an adequate size. It also has a small rooftop terrace. The only downside was the noise from cars racing outside and beeping their horns on the weekend. This would probably not be too bad if you could close the windows but the room (209) was unbearably hot as the AC is controlled centrally, so the window needs to be open all day and night. (I did mention this to reception who advised us to keep the windows open)
