This is an old building but very clean and well equipped for travellers. It runs more as a boarding house and the residents are friendly, interesting and well provided for. The guesthouse manager is a very friendly and helpful guy and he has a small number of staff. This is a no frills place - but for the price and the convenience of the location - and for the new friends you will make amongst the residents - Guesthouse 83 is a great option, but more suitable for the solo traveller I reckon, If you are visiting as a couple make sure you let the manager know when you book and ask for the largest room available.

I have no complaints - Guesthouse 83 is basic accommodation, friendly, clean and well located for the visitor to Cronulla. You get a hearty breakfast and a reasonable evening meal as part of the deal (the mince on macaroni is superb - thanks again chef).

Good location, 10 minutes walk to beach and Cronulla mall (but a bit uphill if you're walking from the train station with luggage). It's budget accommodation and that's what you get but the price is good, the facilities work and it feels safe and secure. I think there are some longer-term residents but nice friendly people. Three big functional bathrooms that were close to the rooms so no waiting. Tip - Kaletos seafood just down the road has great hot and cold seafood.

It was as described so no complaints. There's no air-con and Sydney gets hot, but there's a ceiling fan that I kept going most of the time that did the trick. Window can be opened so can let in a breeze or cooler air if you wish.

After booking thus accommodation, I read several negative comments about it, so I was worried. However, I was pleasantly surprised, The bathrooms were excellent, clean, no sign if mould, well ventilated, big shower stalls. The room had 3 separate beds which suited our group perfectly. Beds were very comfortable, plenty if extra dooahs (quilts/blankets). TV had many channels. And location was excellent, so close to beach. Fridge as well.

Probably could have had more power outlets, though extension cords and kambrook multi outlet power box helped. Everything else was fine.

The dinners were very good most of the days, but were some days not so filling. It was clean and there were enough bathrooms which is important for me. I don't think I needed to wait in line for the bathroom once during my week and a half stay. Generally probably a good place for long stays. There's a washing machine and a dryer that runs on coins, but the dryer didn't work very well for me. But you can just hang clothes in the backyard. Friendly staff will try to help if you have any special requests.

The place was right by a large road which got loud. I had earplugs for sleep, but it could still be annoying. Also, dinner was at 5 PM. which is a little too early for me. I decided to accept it, and if I had brought it up to the staff I'm sure we could've solved it somehow. Regarding the location, it's close to 7 eleven, and a bit of a walk for plenty of other stores. I made the booking in a rush and didn't realize how long the train ride was to the city center, but the train stop was close enough so it was fine.

The room was nice and what I expected in size except there was an unpleasant odor when I first walked in. The bathrooms seemed fairly clean, breakfast was simple and continental, and the location was perfect for walking to the ocean, near shops, activities and food. Also, I love that this location had free breakfast and dinner.

Besides the odor in the room, there wasn't really anything that I did not like. I was not able to meet any of the staff during my stay, but they were quick to respond on the app, very friendly, professional, and helpful.

The staff were friendly and very helpful, the place was very clean and the information booklet listing local facilities was very helpful. The meals included a good selection for breakfast and a good meal at night for dinner. Dinner was kept aside for guests who requested it to be placed in the fridge in their room if needed.

Great little place to stay if you're on a budget! A nice breakfast and dinner was included, which is unheard of in Sydney unless you're in an expensive B&B. The accommodation was very comfortable and clean and only a short walk to shops, bars and cafes. Loved it!

The TV in my room wasn't connected to the anteanna, but the one in my partners room was so I didn't suffer too much.

GH83 was more than l expected, the communal bathrooms, rooms & common areas were all clean & fresh looking and represented good value for money for this budget traveller. GH83 is located close to two train stations, a strip mall for shopping, cafes & restaurants and Cronulla beaches, boardwalks and parks. I highly recommend GH83 for the savvy budget-conscious traveller.

The rooms were clean and fresh, however the window blinds whilst satisfactory for keeping out light and heat could be much better with the inclusion of simple block-out curtains. TV reception was unsatisfactory. Regardless of these shortcomings, l consider GH83 excellent budget-friendly accommodation.

The host was welcoming and approachable. Breakfast and dinner were included in the package. A short distance walk to the beach close to shops and transport. The amenities were clean and functional. I wouldn't mind staying there again.

Exceeded expectations! With inclusive breakfast and dinner, our stay was both convenient and budget-friendly. The friendly staff and spacious rooms made us feel right at home. Highly recommend for a hassle-free and comfortable stay.

Some mens who live there as a guest, made us feel a bit unconfortable but they are respectful. Not problem comming alone.
