The personal touch is amazing as this let is next to the owners home. It’s a set of three rooms the can be hired and is located within a nice housing estate. The walk to town is 5-10 minutes. There is a hot tub that can be used as well, although we didnt have time to use it. Breakfast was as good as any 5* hotel we had on the trip we were on. A range of options were able to be selected from which was an amazing touch and attention to detail. The room was homely and very comfy and the shower was excellent. We definitely would use this again if in the area.

Only one minor point that we had was bit of noise from adjoining rooms in the morning. The owners had only had the rooms since 2023 and maybe could improve this in the future with better sound proofing BUT don’t let this spoil the review as it was excellent value for money compared to 4 others we had on our trip around NZ and as listed above service was exceptional.

Such a lovely welcome from Laura into a lovely room. Cosy, comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean in a quiet setting. The heated bathroom floor was fabulous when coming in from the cold and getting up early in the morning. The breakfast was amazing, a great variety and freshly cooked and delivered to our room with a cheery good morning from Derek. A short and easy walk into town was handy for dinner. I just wish we had stayed for more than 2 nights. Oh and the splashback in Bellbird cabin is spectacular!

Warm cozy room for our mid winter stay. Walking distance from the town centre. The best water pressure I have ever experienced, there is no feeling like coming home from a cold day out and having a shower here! Amazing brekky served as early or late as you like it, straight to your room. Hosts are very hospitable and the room was stocked with tea+coffee+some extra treats.

The staff were so thoughtful and friendly they really made this stay extra special for our group. The rooms were very spacious large and in fantastic condition. We had the most comfortable beds we’ve ever stayed in. The breakfasts were the perfect way to start the day

The hosts were warm and gracious and thought of every detail to make guests feel pampered and welcome. The amenities were top notch—great shower, nicely equipped kitchen ( treats, coffee, tea, real milk in fridge etc) and lots of room to be comfortable. The breakfast offered many choices and was very nicely prepared. Highly recommend

The facilities, the location and the breakfast were simply fantastic. The whirlpool, the super comfortable bed and the underfloor heating were my absolute highlights, almost better than Milford Sound itself :D. Laura and Derrick are super nice, helpful and quick when it comes to communication. I would come back anytime.

Eversthing was perfect

We loved the place. The room had plenty of space to be comfortable and the property offered parking and a hot tub. The breakfasts were great as well and the BnB was a very quick walk into town for dinner and drinks.

Rebecca and Mike went so far above and beyond to make us feel welcome- such a lovely couple! Upon us saying we would be leaving before brekky service, Rebecca offered to deliver us a take away brekky which was so lovely! It was honestly a breakfast for kings! Such delicious home made food and snacks and it exceeded any expectations we had by far!! The room was complete with everything you could ever imagine you’d need or want (like a homemade biscuit with your tea). Lovely hot water and high pressure shower. Such a comfortable and enjoyable stay! Thanks Rebecca and Mike!

Absolutely nothing at all!

Charming owners; toasty warm bathroom; good quality extras (cookies, chocolate).

The suburban location in what is a lake town. However, once inside your studio it's not really an issue. Also, the short walk in and out of the town centre is just what is needed after dinner.

A lovely peaceful little courtyard，The interior design was very clever and full of New Zealand character. It felt like the host is someone who truly enjoys life and has great taste. I hope I’ll have the chance to stay again.
