This property is in a perfect location. It is located right next to all of the public transits and trolleys. Also you are right next to the Ferry building and can take the F line straight to Pier 39, Alcatraz and Fisherman’s Wharf. I am horrible with getting around but you can also get to Powell, Union Square easily with the trolleys. I will stay at the same location next visit. I felt very safe during my stay.

The only thing that I did not like was the restaurant located in the lobby. It’s a seat yourself and often it would take FOREVER to receive any type of acknowledgement or service. Finally the last couple of nights I would just go to the bar to order.

Rooms were lovely and spacious, we had a rollaway bed in one room, included in the amenity fee. Free upgrade on booking.com to balcony view rooms. Super location for the Embarcadero and the Ferry building where we went everyday for some food options. Best gluten free bakery for our coeliac daughter. Trams and underground went from outside in every direction, including ball park, union square and wharf. All walking distance too if you prefer. Very safe and clean area.

coffee wasn't great

Room was large, modern, and well laid out. Very comfortable bed and a great bathroom with fantastic rain shower fixture that warmed nearly instantaneously and provided a great flow. The One Market restaurant associated with the hotel is outstanding.

Views on the bay from this room were partial. At check-in they try to upsell you into a costlier room, which is off-putting. The destination fee is a ticky tacky thing that is a chore to try to use. It doesn’t apply, for example, on morning coffee in the hotel lobby. But many hotels are now doing this kind of thing.

The location was excellent and convenient to nearby attractions and points of interest. The view of the bay was amazing and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept on. The amenities were amazing and the interior lobby was top notch.

It is a very busy hotel. I was there for a work conference and there was another function going on at the same time so the elevators were working overtime to meets the needs of work and leisure guests. I also wish there was an option to see and purchase a single use pass for the rooftop restaurant.

I like how the staff took any concerns seriously. very friendly and professional at all times.

The hidden fees for each night. The food in the market was not worth the price, bad food at a high cost. The microwaves were absolutely disgusting. Microwaves are not in the rooms, they are downstairs in the lobby. The same nasty food was still in it from the day before. The kitchen and bar had great food. It was separate from the market but still a part of the hotel.

The rooms are a fantastic size and everything feels quite modern. The revolving Club Room at the top has incredible views over San Francisco and the food/drinks available are great, well worth having that as part of your stay. The bed was super comfortable. The restaurant/bar in the lobby has a great selection of drinks and their food is good, recommend the fish tacos. I quite enjoy a walk so whilst it's far from some of the tourist attractions the walk to the piers etc. did not feel overly long.

The restaurants nearby all close incredibly early and it's not overly close to a lot of tourist locations if you don't like walking. The rooms can be quite far from the elevators (depending on which room you get) and the carpets don't make it easy to roll your luggage. Not a deal breaker just something to consider or request a room near the lifts.

Great location, big and clean gym, large and comfortable room with great city view. A lot of space to sit and hang out in the lobby and there are many conference rooms. It feels like a good place to stay for business trips.

The lobby is very dark because of the design, wish there was more natural light. No restaurant on site, only a food market and a bar. Dining options are very limited. No in-room dining either. Wish there were a swimming pool, too. The parking downstairs is very convenient (not part of the hotel) but the valet parking is $80 per day. The staff work there are very friendly and professional, so not a big deal for us.

Upgraded to a room with balcony and Bay view. 100% worth it.

I understated the pandemic changed everything, but we were surprised that a Hyatt Regency did not have a restaurant.

The hotel atrium/lobby is beautiful with so many cozy places to sit and enjoy the surroundings. The location is excellent. Love being so close to the Ferry Building and the waterfront area. We were offered an upgrade to a suite for a $100 extra/night. When I hesitated due to our children having to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa bed, the clerk insisted on providing a rollaway bed, which was promptly provided.

The sofa bed was not comfortable. The king bed was only so-so in comfort. Noisy pipes created thumbing in wall.

The room and location of the hotel. The staff were absolutely wonderful. The cleaniness of the hotel and the rooms was amazing. John, at the bell desk should be commended for his professional and friendly customer savvy attitude. He is a gem and definitely an asset to the Hyatt.

We really had wanted a restaurant on the premises, as we did not want to go out all of the time. The Market was a nice gesture, but we were looking for a chef inspired cooked dinner during our stay.
