This is an exceptional B&B. The host, Marco and his family couldn't have been more welcoming, I felt at home immediately I walked in the door. I stayed in the single room which was perfect, a comfy bed and shower ensuite, all immaculately clean. I loved how we ate family style in Marco's kitchen, as he bustled about fixing our delicious breakfasts and giving us his top tips for eating places in Rome and how to use the bus and metro, both of which have stops close by. The B&B is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and very close to the ancient Circa Massimo and the Colosseum is approx 20 minutes away by foot. Staying with Marco made my visit to Rome so memorable.. I will not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you, Marco and family! 🇮🇹🌹🙏
Nothing. It was exceptional!

Everything was beyond my expectations. Firstly, the owner himself cooks breakfast for you every morning, giving you the feeling that you are not in an anonymous hotel but in your relatives' house in Italy (that you love them). Moreover, the owner was a former tourist guide, speaks fluent English, and he can give you many quality options for everything in Rome (food, transportation, locations, etc). He is really helpful. As for the room, it was super clean, not even a hint of dust! There is free wifi, a/c, heaters, and TV with Netflix and other applications. The location is in a very good neighborhood of Rome where you do not meet strange people or loud noises. Furthermore, it is really close to Colosseum (13m walk), the ancient arena "Circo Massimo" and the homonymous metro and bus station (4m walk), which connect you to every place in Rome. Not to mention that it was not even expensive room. All those combined were something that made my stay in Rome an unforgettable experience. I suggest Vecchia Roma Resort to anyone who is searching for the best value for money accommodation in Rome.
There was nothing really negative about it. In my opinion, it should not even exist in this resort.

Exceptional hospitality, our stay was made special by Marco, our friendly host and breakfast chef. Authentic Roman cooking and big choice of coffee 🙂 Marco and even a teapot for English tea at breakfast. Wonderful location in a quiet residential district with shady tree lined streets. Will definitely want to stay here the next time we are in Rome.
Nothing. Lift to third floor is small and ground floor entrance has a few (8 or so) steps to climb. Car parking could be challenging but we used tram to Albania stop for easy access.

The location is excellent, being a 5 minute walk from the underground station Circo Massimo (which is one stop from the Collosseum). You can walk to the Collosseum and to the Mouth of Truth- in fact I walked everywhere. The property is in a safe area with some restaurants nearby. It was clean and Marco and his son Luca were so lovely .
Nothing to dislike. I stayed in a single room which might feel small if you’re used to large rooms but I found it perfect and had everything I needed.

I would like to thank Marco for making me feel at home every minute of my short trip to Rome. The breakfasts he prepared meticulously every morning and starting the day with a sincere smile were wonderful. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the personal supplies were very useful and comfortable. The fact that the center of Rome is also located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood where locals live and that it is safe made me very happy on this trip. Marco's transportation recommendations for Rome and the beautiful memories he shared made my trip beautiful. I will come back to Rome to stay at Vecchia Roma Resort. Also, the New Year's gift Marco made with his own hands was a very nice and thoughtful idea. Thank you for everything Marco!

Vecchia Roma is perfectly located in a quiet street, near the Roman attractions, and close to transport for all that Rome has to offer. The facilities are clean, attractive and comfortable. The host Marco is helpful, knowledgeable, interesting, and fun. He also cooks a wonderful breakfast, different each morning, while helping guests to plan their day. All his suggestions were spot on. This place is perfect for a first time visit to Rome..... and then, why go anywhere else?
That we did not stay longer!

It is a wonderful introduction to Rome. It was my first trip to Rome and Marco made it welcoming and special! The tasty breakfasts prepared by him were different every day. All travelers shared the breakfast table and conversations were interesting. A lot of fun! Marco had many stories and tips about what to do and see. Wonderful neighborhood and close to Circo Massimo Metro station. Several restaurants nearby and a delicious gelateria! I miss it already!
Everything was wonderful!

Marco was an exceptional host and was very helpful with information about Rome as it was our first visit. The breakfast choices were excellent.... especially Easter Sunday when he prepared special traditional Italian cuisine. The location was in a lovely quiet part of Rome but walking distance to public transportation and restaurants. Would recommend to anyone who prefers to be away from the hussle of noise and crowds of people.
Nothing to dislike for the 4 nights we stayed.

This accommodation is near the Circo Massimo subway station, just three stops from Termini Station and one stop from the Colosseo Station on the Metro B line. It's an excellent location for visiting many historical sites. The area is quiet, situated in a residential neighborhood away from busy streets. As is common in apartment buildings, you might occasionally hear noise from neighbors, but it wasn’t a problem for us. The room is sufficiently sized for two people and can accommodate three using the sofa bed. The hosts show remarkable hospitality. They provided a useful information how to get the accommodation from the airport or train station before arriving, and some advices for sightseeing places. They prepared our breakfast every morning and were happy to change the menu according to our requests. They also helped us in finding and booking nice restaurants. Although we didn’t ask, they likely facilitate laundry services. Given how crowded Rome can be and the typically high cost of hotels, this place is reasonably priced. Its high review scores are well deserved. Overall, this is one of the best places I’ve stayed. I am very grateful to the hosts.
We had no complaints.

Marco & Luca were amazing hosts: from the moment we booked, to our arrival & our departure, they looked after us so well. The included breakfast was generous, room was spacious & clean, & only a few minutes walk to the bus, metro & tram. They even provided a map of all their recommended restaurants, which we loved. The bonus was that three Colloseum was an easy 10min walk away! Will definitely stay here again next time we come to Rome.
