The hotel is situated in the central part of Sapa! Once you step outside you have every shop and restaurant nearby, literally a few metres away. The hotel is absolutely amazing (clean, spacious, big bathroom with a bath tub), and the staff is very professional. Breakfast is rich and diverse, and there is also an amazing view from the balcony (you can also eat there). The pool is also very nice and warm, but only open until 8PM. I would recommend breakfast would be a little longer, it ends at 9 AM, and for people who are not early risers like us it’s a bit difficult to get in time, especially because at 9 sharp they clear everything off the buffet tables.

We had a very pleasant experience at the hotel. The rooms were clean, beautifully designed, and fully equipped. The restaurant served delicious food with a lovely atmosphere. One of the biggest strengths was the excellent customer service. Despite the high number of guests, the staff remained professional, attentive, and welcoming — a big plus. There are a few small areas for improvement. The restaurant staff could improve their English skills to better serve international guests. It would also be nice if the hotel offered special benefits for long-term stays. Additionally, extending breakfast service until 10:00 AM would be more convenient, as many guests prefer to sleep in while on vacation. Of course, these are just personal suggestions. Overall, the hotel did an excellent job with its organization and made our stay truly enjoyable.

On arrival we were wowed by the unique decor of this boutique hotel. [See photos] Our room was spacious with a huge, comfortable bed, lounge seat and compact, clean bathroom. It had a bath in the bay window which looked out to the mountains and a table and chairs. There was a small fridge, kettle and cups more of a western size than other hotels in Vietnam that we have stayed in. Extra teabags and sugar was immediately provided when we asked for it. The room was serviced daily. Breakfast was well presented and included a variety of fruit, eggs, breads and Asian dishes. The heated pool on the fourth floor looked inviting. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby and it is an easy walk to the centre of town. We are an octogenarians with some physical limitations so we really appreciated the helpfulness of the Manager and staff who gave us good advice on the local locations we wanted to see and assisted with transport. Unfortunately we had been in smoggy Hanoi and experienced breathing problems that only got worse causing us to abandon our itinerary. The manager kindly arranged a car to take us to hospital in Hanoi and followed this up, checking to see if we were OK.

Nothing to dislike. Just a suggestion to the breakfast chef that eggs should be cooked upon request of the guest, not pre cooked.

The hotel exceeded our expectations for the price. Thon, Sam, and Ning were all incredibly gracious and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived.The rooms were very spacious, well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. It was extremely comfortable, and having Netflix available on the TV was a great bonus for relaxing in the evenings. We especially enjoyed the quiet village surroundings with peaceful rice field views, a perfect escape from the busy city. The breakfast was delicious, offering a good variety of dishes to suit all tastes. The restaurant also has an amazing view, making each meal a relaxing and scenic experience.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The space was beautiful, clean, and cozy, and the location was very convenient. Sam, the manager, was incredibly helpful and professional, supporting us throughout our time there. Breakfast was excellent, with a good variety and great taste. Unfortunately, we did witness a few guests behaving inappropriately, trying to pressure the front desk staff without valid reasons. Personally, I believe such behavior is disappointing, especially when traveling should be about enjoyment and respect. Despite this, the hotel staff remained calm, professional, and kind, which we truly appreciated. The heated swimming pool was clean and relaxing, and the spa services were well-priced and of great quality definitely worth trying. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return on our next visit!

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel De Sapa, the location was excellent for us being so amongst the busy tourist areas and close to Cat Cat Village. It was clean and suitable for what we needed at the time. Great on the budget not being too pricy also.

The pool smelt like old socks so didn’t want to use it, o think because they had left used towels on the ground which could easily be solved removing straight away and doing a clean and opening a window. The beds were super hard like almost like we couldnt sleep on them hard. We had to sleep on the think duvet cover to try get some padding. The bath also takes way too long to fill up and go hot - they said to wait 5-10min for the hot water but that much water wastage seemed to us like not a good idea so we stuck to showers.

Beautiful Hotel in the Heart of the Walking Street We had a very satisfying stay at this hotel. It's located right in the center of the walking street area, which made it easy for us to explore and enjoy the surroundings.The room was equipped with a bathtub that was exactly what we were looking for — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Just a note: if you plan to use the bathtub, it’s a good idea to ask the staff for instructions. If not, you might end up using cold water by mistake!The heated indoor pool was a great touch — we stopped by for a quick dip. But most of the time, we chose to enjoy their spa services, which were offered at a very attractive price. The massage experience was truly worth it. Overall: great service, excellent location, and reasonable price — a place we’d happily return to!

The flavors are amazing, making it the perfect way to start the day. The heated swimming pool is one of the standout features of the hotel. After a long day of sightseeing, relaxing in the warm water is truly a delightful and soothing experience. Really nice room with a super comfortable big bed and nice bathroom with a good shower. The staff were lovely and welcoming. Great location with lots of restaurants around, but very quiet at night for a good restful sleep. Nice to be able to use the sauna, especially in the cold weather, although the indoor pool wasn’t really warm enough for us. The breakfast had a good few options, with bread, eggs, fruit, juices etc. Good laundry service.

There was a bathtub but the water didn’t get quite hot enough to use it, but the shower was nice and hot so not really a big issue.

Our family planned this trip to Vietnam six months in advance, and we had a truly wonderful time in Sapa.
