They provided towels for guest use, which was nice. A complimentary biscuit was offered during check-in, the dorms and bathrooms were maintained to a high standard of cleanliness, the staff demonstrated friendly and courteous service, the Wi-Fi connectivity was reliable, and the outdoor seating area provided a pleasant environment.

While the inclusion of two USB ports in your pod is appreciated, the addition of a standard electrical outlet would enhance convenience by accommodating fast chargers or multi-port chargers. Furthermore, the door key fob's small size presents a risk of loss; a wearable solution, such as a wristband, would provide a more secure and accessible alternative. Finally, while the rain shower concept is well-received, the bathroom's water pressure requires improvement.

Everything was amazing! It was my first time at a backpackers and it was such a good vibe all around from the staff to the facilities. The bed was super comfy and I chose to stay there because it was a super quick walk to where I needed to be picked up for the tours I went on. Amazing place, great view from the outdoor chill space too. The other backpackers were super friendly also and I felt safe the entire time. I highly recommend it! 😎

I had to get used to making noise while other people were in the room and being okay with it because it's what I needed to do.

Honestly had a great experience at Bazpackers. People who work there are very kind and were very accommodating when some things went wrong (window handle broke and WiFi was down). I had the private room with a double bed, which was clean and very comfortable. Towels were provided and the showers and toilets were perfectly clean as well. Great water temperature and water pressure. Location just outside of the centre, which was great for me. The only downside was that the room smelled like wet dog and/or smelly feet. With the window open it was okay, so I’m not sure if it was from the previous guest or if it’s just the smell of the room, but if it is the latter someone should probably deep clean the carpet.

This was my first time solo tripping, I booked this hostel and I’m so glad I did! You hear a lot of horror story’s about hostels but do not fear this place, if it’s your first time like me. The entire hostel is clean. The staff.. amazing! I stayed in the female dorm and had no issues at all. Quiet. Very homely feel and I felt so safe. I socialised with fantastic people during my stay and remaining friends with some after leaving. I’ll never forget my first solo trip, thank you Bazpackers! Excellent location also. I suffer from a bad back but surprisingly not too bad for me. If you’re a sociable person and don’t mind paying a little extra for comfort and safety.. BOOK!!!

There were only USB ports in each bed, I use a Type C. Although made this work fine, as there are plugs near the lockers in each room. Lesson learnt and will take a different charging cable next time.

in the very centre of Inverness and wow were we surprised with this hostel, grabed one of the last private room this weekend, everything was so practical and room is better than in some of the hotels we stayed in! exceptionally clean (as is shared kitchenette separate from rest of the dorm rooms) and shared bathrooms in annex are crazy modern. it's been decades since I was in a hostel but boy this stay was great, I now wish we had more evening /morning time but we were heading further west early morning. lovely staff at the reception, hostel is energy savy and have little notes/stickers around. wow! really really fine place to stay if you are on the budget north of Scotland :) definitely coming back there

5/5 – A Cozy, Self-Sufficient Gem in Inverness I absolutely loved my stay at Bazpackers Hostel! Everything went so smoothly—from the moment I arrived to the moment I left. The check-in process was seamless, and the self-sufficient setup made everything easy. I received my key, found everything clearly explained, and just settled right in. The beds are super comfy, and I really appreciated the smart compartments around them—perfect for tucking away your bits and pieces. The hot shower was a dream after long Highland walks, and the kitchen is amazing—fully equipped with everything you need, which made it feel like home. Towels included, which is always a plus! What I especially loved was the view of the river—absolutely soothing. And when it was time to leave, all I had to do was drop off the key. No fuss, no pressure, just ease. You can truly relax here. Highly recommended for travelers who value both comfort and independence. I'd definitely come back again!

I had a wonderful stay at Bazpackers! The comfortable bunk bed ensured a good night's sleep, and the clean kitchen was a delight to use. The hostel's proximity to the train station made it easy to get around. But what really made my stay special was the wonderful host lady, who went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. One suggestion I do have is to implement a code system for the dorms

I forgot my tag on my way to the toilet at night and had to sit outside the dorm for 30 minutes until another guest got up and let me in. It would be great to have a backup system in place for situations like this.

Everything. So much thought and effort has gone into making this place incredible which is clearly evident. Individual curtains for bunk beds allows for privacy and a darkened escape from the main light. Window views were lovely. Position to town and facilities exemplary. Stayed in Annex and kitchen was modern and homely. Toilets and showers also modern, clean and well planned. General, shared areas also fabulous. This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. Congratulations to the planners/designers and staff who have made this place possible and for the staff who go the extra mile.

Absolutely nothing to complain about! Stayed 3 nights.

The facilities were very adequate. The comforters were good. The kitchen was adequate for coffee, tea, and hearing up food. Less for full cooking. The beds were wrapped in an impervious lining which I was reassured by, as it impairs pests The beds were very comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and hot water and the towels were good. This is a fantastic hostel for families or friends. The Castle Bar is attached and has a solid Cullen Skink Very well situated.

Nothing. This is a solid, plain fare, hostel. It is not a high end hotel. Safe. Comfortable. Good value. All ages. Will be back.

Very close to the center of Inverness and the train station. The staff was really nice. The place was clean and there is a fully equipped kitchen to cook or store food. The room I had was quite big and each bed with curtains for privacy. Garden with a beautiful view.

The walls are a bit thin so better plan to have earplugs.
