Check in was great and they have parking on site. Our room was ready when we checked in a bit early which is always so helpful. The room was great, actually a small suite so we had lots of room and the bathroom was excellent. We had a view of the piazza next us, the ferry terminal and lake from our window. The maid service was among the best ever. They did a great job and seemed to know exactly when to show up - as well as turn down service. The breakfast was great, and the service even better. A great stay.

The hotel location is excellent. The hotel is across the street from the ferry, beautiful water views, about 3 blocks from train station (when running) and in the middle of Como for shops, restrauants and gelato :-). Room was quiet, comfortable with upscale bedding and decor. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious. Reservations required. Breakfast was wonderful - a delightful assortment of anything you might enjoy with an attentive staff. The restaurant has views of Lake Como and is charming with twinkle lights and greenery.

The only thing we would have changed was the bathroom set up in our room. It was basically in the room with not much privacy. The amenities, towels etc were lovely.

This hotel is lovely. The staff are exceptionally helpful and accommodating. The hotel has the most wonderful aroma everywhere and all of the time. The scent is so calming. The location is excellent, you can see the ferry from the room, but it is also quiet. Our room was very comfortable, clean and had a lake view. Breakfast was amazing!

I really can't say anything negative other than there is some construction going outside the hotel, but honestly, there's a lot of construction in the area. It is progress and necessary. It really didn't bother us.

Location, location, location—this property has got it. The Albergo Terminus possesses an old world ambience that takes you back to the “gilded age.” Breakfast is included and includes everything you would expect with the possible exception of an omelette bar. In the evening the restaurant serves up a sumptuous selection of thoughtfully prepared entrees for you to enjoy as you look out at iconic Lake Como.

The room was a standard room that might serve one person well but not two. The room was just too small. If traveling as a family you will definitely want to upgrade

Albergo Terminus deserves to be a five star rating! A beautiful hotel, a luxury spacious room that welcomes you with a refreshing citrus smell and a relaxing interior design. The bed was as comfortable as my own at home and the windows kept all the noise outside to a bare minimum. A small coffee and tea corner and a well stocked minibar made sure to provide that extra touch. The staff working there was friendly and professional.

A small contribution in the bathroom could be a handrail to help you out of the bath safely. The only negative point was the service in the restaurant (Bar delle Tempe) at dinner time. To forget an order once can happen, but twice during the same meal for two people did not present itself well.

We were blown away with this lovely hotel. We were greeted by very friendly staff on arrival and were told that both of the rooms we had booked had been upgraded. Our daughters room had a spectacular view over the lake. The breakfast is served in the most magical room i have ever seen. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Lake Como

Wifi wasn't great

The location was perfect, right on the main square. It’s an old estate, very cool set up. No dedicated staff to assist once arrived (concierge) all they have is the front desk. So it seemed to have a consistent line at the desk. Food was great, bar was great, rooms were clean and well set up.

Only issue is the same one you will have everywhere in Italy, the air conditioning… get ready for 76 ish in your room. Controls are on the wall for placebo effect only. Would stay there again, but I’m a person that likes a cold bed room..

The hotel was very comfortable with very friendly reception. The breakfast was amazing with very attentive staff.

The only down side was the construction work on the lakeside across the road from the hotel. Nothing to do with the hotel but hopefully the work will be completed soon so I can return !

Everything! This is an amazing hotel in an awesome location and so very convenient to all Como has to offer! The staff is second to none and were so friendly and helpful all the time! We stayed a week and had absolutely the best room in the hotel with a large balcony! The views from the room are stunning! The hotel was decorated beautifully for the holidays and made the stay feel like home. The daily breakfast is the best we’ve ever had in a hotel and was included with our room! The food options were simply amazing! The wait staff were so professional and kind and made our visit extra special. What a place to culminate a nice long holiday vacation in Europe! Thank you to everyone at Albergo Terminus for this wonderful memory!
