I've never stayed in such a clean, well-maintained resort. It was pristine. I would have liked an outdoor pool but the kids loved the adventure playground. It was generally ok to book the indoor one (although a lot of slots were filled with people obviously booking just in case as it was never full). Hayling island has a really nice vibe, was never too busy and the beach is very close. Very reasonably priced.

The bar service was very slow. I felt for them but they really needed someone who had run a bar to come in and explain how to cope with a busy service. Even at slow times, if there was anyone else at the bar, you knew it was going to be a 10 minute wait. The mattresses on the beds in the spare room and in the lounge were wrecked. The kids were generally ok (although my oldest fell out due to the camber). We didn't manage a good night's sleep.

The camp felt relaxed and all the staff were friendly, cheerful and polite. The accommodation was clean and tidy with everything you could want.

We ate once in the missing squirrel would rate 0 out of 10. We ordered,it came an hour later. It took them 20 mins to inform us there was no ham for the toastie. The tostie arrived not toasted, our ciabatta minus the coleslaw and dead lettuce which should have been in the bin. My grandsons bacon burger was under cooked bacon and over cooked burger. DISMAL. It did not spoil the holiday.

Great hot bathroom. Confortable rooms and beds. All cosy and spanking clean. Delicious food and drink. Lidl supermarket very close.

The restaurant kitchen opening times suddenly changed. It was incorrectly announced at the entrance.. And the next day the kitchen closed early although we had asked for the closing to an employee an hour before. We had to go out for food twice twice when we we would have preferred to eat here because the food is very good. We had no access to the pool or the sea. It was closed in the evening

We only used our caravan as a base for Portsmouth Dockyard and for this it was perfect. The weather was cold and dreary but the heating was super efficient and the hot tub a lovely treat. The lounge area was excellent for space and we were delighted that the main bedroom had an en-suite sink and toilet. Having accommodation with somewhere to park was important for us as well.

All fine really, no frying pan when we made breakfast on the first morning but this was quickly replaced when reported. The single beds are very narrow for six foot young men..but…it’s a caravan and everyone accepted that, As a value for money experience I don’t think theres much to moan about!!

It was peaceful and pleasant. We enjoyed this and would definitely return!!! Staff were fantastic in both reception and the restaurant. Kudos to all! The accommodation was a no-pet unit #15 that was ideal for us. The kitchen was nice and equipped quite well. Very comfortable and relaxing. What we needed. Spacious The outdoor deck was lovely but needed a cushion on the couch. They recycle!! Make it easy to help the planet. Love the parking is designated, so easy.

The lack of easy questions being answered pre-arrival. I don't want their app to know the hours of the only restaurant, hours of the pool, or the hair dryer- simple, just answer. It took 7 requests and a complaint to Booking.com to get answers. The restaurant closes so early and it was quite pricey for what you got. No matter we went twice because of the staff! The staff make up for this though!!! They're fantastic!

Breakfast not being served at time of stay which was a little disappointing so we went to the sea front which was nice really not a problem. Evening meals were great in the Squirrel bar with tasty cocktails. Very friendly hard working staff. All staff on site were great even the night staff/ security. The site was lovely very tidy with well kept landscaped gardens. Myself and partner had a very relaxing break and look forward to a return next year with our dog for long seaside walks. The accommodation was first class clean tidy and very well presented with everything you could need for a short stay.

The caravan was very comfortable and the heating was very efficient

The direction signs were conspicuous by their absence and I got lost after doing some shopping at the local supermarket. The changing facilities in the swimming pool were inadequate. The lockers didn't lock, there were not enough changing cubicles, the showers were pathetic and there were no facilities for people with babies (no play pen or baby seat in which to place a young child whilst the parent gets changed or attends to another child).

Residents going to work ( ?) 6.30 every morning with revving of loud exhaust

This is the second time we have stayed. We like that the location is quiet, clean & friendly. It only takes 5 minutes in the car to the beach too. The caravan has 2 bathrooms as a family of 6 this is great. We love the balcony that goes around the caravan, it’s a lovely place to eat, chill & the children to play safely. Staff are all lovely & the pool is nice & warm - although disappointed we could only book once as already booked & we could only reserve 4 spaces although we are a family of 6, we had to hope someone didn’t turn up. We couldn’t book before we went as the link didn’t give us this option.

The food & drink our very expensive!! The entertainment is ok, very quiet ( we liked this ) but over & finished by 9.15-9.30 every night. We couldn’t book swimming very disappointed in this. Also the locals can use the facilities this meant the splash pad & outside seating was packed.

The property was well laid out with good modular furniture for all the family to stay comfortably. It was very modern and well presented. The cooking utensils provided were more than sufficient. The private hot tub was a lovely added extra and was well used! The swimming pool, soft play and bookable activities were great to have available. The staff were so helpful and wonderful, especially Suzanne!

We had some issues with the beds, namely a significant dip in the sofa bed which we had to prop up with modular seats and the bottom bunk bed was also sunken in and extremely noisy. We also hoped that there would be more activities like live performances, etc programmed during our stay as advertised but that wasn’t the case.
