The hotel is very central, next to the Lille Flandres train station. Friendly staff, nice hotel bar.

The room could use some renovation. The window didn't open anymore, the bathroom has seen better times, although everything was still functional.

Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast and games/activities for kids in reception. Great location with parking at the train station next door.

We were placed in a room directly above the outside eating/seating area, which was very noisy into the early hours of the morning on both nights. It was so noisy I thought I’d left the window open, but I hadn’t. If you are travelling with young children, I would recommend you request a room as far away from this area as possible. Hotel could do with sound proofing the windows of rooms near this area.

To a certain extent the location is good - close to Gare Lille Flandres and reasonably close to Lille Europe and intercity bus services. Not too far (12-15 minutes walking from downtown). A bit far from places such as the Citadel or the University - bus stations are not very close. The vicinity gets dirty in the evenings and morning and some shady characters are around. The hotel itself is clean, my room was decently sized, all services very convenient, internet runs great, they have a restaurant and non-stop bar services and the stuff is very good, friendly and helpful. Overall good value for the money.

The breakfast is good but very, very repetitive. I stayed for 5 days including both weekend days and nothing ever changed.

The accommodation was in a quiet part of the CBD close to both railway centres and lots of restaurants and a supermarket all walking distance. Breakfast was included with a variety of choices. Modern look to the rooms. Staff very helpfull all the time

We like to open the window for air and unfortunately a large noisy air conditioning plant was outside our room. We were given another room but the noise was still there.

Good location, staff were helpful and friendly. Mini fridge was a plus. Bed was comfy, duvet and pillows very nice.

Rooms are functional, though a bit dated. Coffee sachets were horrible, no milk available either. Hotel didn't have single use plastic bottles in the mini fridge which was a plus, however they provided cardboard cups for the coffee. Why not have actual mugs that can be washed?? Bed was comfy but creaky, if 2 people were sharing it would be noisy when one person moved.

The hotel is conveniently located for the train station (Flandres). Breakfast was nice offering a good range. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The location did mean a good 10 minute walk to any location in the centre. The airconditioning wasn’t working and the room got very hot. Apparently the AC hadn’t been turned on yet this year and the technicians needed to come in. Unfortunately it did make for an uncomfortable night. The sofa bed was less comfortable than at Novotel Gent.

No complaints at all- I wasn’t necessarily expecting too much but it was a great stay. Room was very spacious, comfortable beds, a couple of free juices and coffees. Location wise it was excellent, a short walk from both the rail stations. Bar area was nice and there was a little play area for the kids too. The staff were all lovely with perfect English. I’m surprised it isn’t rated higher on Booking.com based on our experience, which was very positive.

We liked a lot: - the breakfast: very diverse, with a lot of options. Totally worth the pay! - the attention to waste: large bottles of shampoo, soap in the bathroom, towels changed only if on the floor, no plastic water bottles, the breakfas (jam) jars were large, with option to self-serve as much as needed, etc. - the position: we traveled by train so it was right next to train station Lille Flandres. Excellent location for us! - spacious room with fridge and coffee/tea makers - the toys, books and games in the lobby - the general atmosphere : very colorful, clean, friendly

We liked a bit less: - the bed matresses and pillows - not very comfy - the temperature in the room : it was too warm without possibility to chage temperature or open the window (it was beginning of May, rather chilly outside)

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The room also had large windows which was great as we kept them open to keep the room temperature cool in the evenings. Slept really well & the hotel was quiet which was relaxing.

We arrived at the hotel just before 8pm and had to wait a while to be checked in. The bar staff went to find the receptionist which was helpful. The receptionist did apologise and was friendly but we did wait a while.

I like breakfasts, an environment for children, a close location from a train station and a center in general. The hotel's staff is friendly and professional.

I think there is a problem with the sewerage system, and there are problems with the flushing of a toilet. Probably, it's only in our room. For me, mattress was a bit soft, but this is individual, for some people it might be the best ever.
