Everything was perfect, the room was larger than the normal, we had 2x double beds, heatpump worked great, everything was very clean. The small kitchen and bathroom were meticulous. Everything has been nicely upgraded at some stage. The shower was lovely and hot with a large Felton shower head. TV was big enough to watch from bed and in a great location. The pool and spa were immaculate. The host was very lovely and kind. We would definitely stay here again. The price was very cheap and this place exceeded my expectations.

Great communication from Winnie! We checked in really late as initially stated and she made sure to ring and text me to explain how we can access our room. We really enjoyed our stay here, great size of our room. Everything was nice and clean, spacious and beds were comfortable. Free wifi was fast and great TV options. Pool and spa was great for us and our 4 year old. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommended.

We loved everything here however just one MINOR thing to suggest is for the laundry room to be kept tidy. There was no iron in our room as they are kept in the laundry area and when I went in there to get an iron there were a lot of clothes and bedding all over the place, I had to step over a few things. Not sure if this was due to the workers or other people staying there. Otherwise overall everything was great.

Great stay within a short walk of village and restaurants. The lady on the front counter was very friendly, informative and helped us with tour bookings. Money and time has been spent on this property with new windows, paint etc. Room was very clean and nice shower. Only downside was the bed against the wall but our room could sleep 5 or more. Other rooms didn’t seem to have this setup. Only other thing is the stove top burners need a thorough clean or refurbish but we didn’t use it so no issue for us.

We were actually 'upgraded' from two standard rooms to the cottage. We have a family of 4 with older children and this was a great bonus. The cottage was spacious and totally suited out needs and would look into booking that next time. The teens swam in the pool and the spa pool, it wasn't too busy. The host was great, called us before we arrived to ask if we'd mind changing rooms, which was no problem and held our lost property later (oops!). Definitely thought it was great value for money for a family with older teen children.

It was a little tucked away from the main drag, but wouldn't say there was anything to dislike. More than suited our needs.

There was heaps of room . Very spacious and great for a group . Very comfy beds and couches. Nice carpet and fridge and bedding was lovely. Two toilets and two showers and 3 bedrooms . Nice and private with own driveway . Perfect for a group

The house is old and has been done up . A few cobwebs in the lounge . The showers are quite old but were clean . Needs a towel rail in the shower room or more hooks for clothing and towel . The toilets were also quite old but clean . Otherwise a great property

This motel had everything we could've needed. It's set back from the road, unlike most other motels in the area, which means it's perfectly quiet and no road noise when you want to sleep. Beds were comfy too. The small kitchen (microwave, electric hob, kettle, toaster) was very useful, and we appreciated that it was in a separate little room to our bedroom. The pool and hot tub were an additional bonus (although the pool was probably a little cold for some!). Laundry facilities also a plus.

The WiFi was quite patchy and would regularly cut out. The guest laundry facilities were also very busy on the day we used them, as it seemed that the hotel management also use the same facilities to wash bed sheets etc so all machines were in use. But we were still able to use them and these things did not negatively impact our stay.

Winnie is a kind and gracious host. She offered advice, extra pillows and even sweeties. The location is great. Beach 5 mins round the corner and lots of amenities close by. Good cold pool for a refreshing dip and a nice warm hot tub after. We appreciated having an actual teapot and the towels were thick and plush. The air-conditioning unit was new and easy to operate.I found this motel very clean and a relaxing place to stay.I would stay here again when in Paihai.

Great location in town, rooms as described , clean and comfortable. The host was lovely and very helpful.

Our late arrival was accommodated with an envelope stuck on the front door of the office, which was nice. However, I would suggest not putting the person’s first name, just their first initial. If I was traveling alone and someone could see my first name and that I was a single woman, it may have been telling. So maybe in future use first initial and last name. But otherwise, all as expected.

Our stay at this motel was exceptional from the moment we met with the office manager. She was ultra helpful and listened to our needs then made some extra accommodations. We had a 2 bed room. Brilliant. The unit was in excellent condition, upstairs and with our own car park space very close. It was very quiet and great TV system. It was walking distance to town and the jetties. The kitchen was of a high standard and had all facilities included. It has a pool and a warm spa.

We have stayed here a few times because averill court truly is a place for anyone wanting that relaxing holiday stay . It is family friendly with an awesome host, the units are spacious with comfortable beds., the wi fi is great, T V has sky & Netflix , shower pressure is spot on , great walk to beach & town, parking right outside rooms & a pool & hot tub , great value for your money. Love staying here when we are in Paihia
