Loved the location of the resort, and the beautiful chalets nestled in the trees. The pool was beautiful to swim in, and the louvred tree-top rooms were magic. We had a verandah kitchen that worked really well for us.

We would have like some chairs and a table in the room or on the verandah. We are older and sitting up at stools is not comfortable for us. The musty rainforest smell in the chalet took took some getting used to but improved as we aired the room. Having the noise of the neighbours'air conditioner hanging over our verandah kitchen and dining space was a shame. When it was turned off, the space was much more enjoyable.

Comfortable rooms in a gorgeous rainforest garden. Clean,. Comfortable beds. Enormous super king bed. The kids loved climbing the ladder to bed each night in their room among the palms. It was beautiful to watch the rainstorms from up there. Lots of birds around. Great pool. The room is basic but great value for money. The restaurant is open when busy enough and serves great food and drinks. There are other food options nearby and a great cafe just around the corner.

Nothing. I note some negative reviews and don't agree. This is a rainforest which comes with lots of insects, rain and high humidity. It is not a reflection on the property and part of the adventure. While the reception was not always manned, they were very responsive if you called the listed mobile number.

The staff were very helpful and informative about tours in the rainforest. The night walk tour (with guide - Kane) was sensational and not to be missed. The pool was very inviting and looks like a crystal clear pond in the rainforest surrounds. The cabins are well spaced apart and nestled into a relaxing rainforest environment.

Reception is not manned and took some time to call for attendance (with good assistance provided when eventually attended). Dinner service had limited choices but probably due to awaiting deliveries to their location.

I recently stayed at the Ferntree Hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, nestled in a serene area that offers a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently close to local attractions and amenities. The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, providing all the comforts needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the décor was modern yet cozy. Overall, I highly recommend the Ferntree Hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The combination of excellent location, comfortable rooms, and delicious breakfast makes it a top choice.

Convenient location within walking distance to the beach, boardwalk and other dining options. We stayed in one of the garden lofts which had plenty of room and was very comfortable. The restaurant was only open for dinner as it was in the middle of the quiet season and the menu was understandably quite small, however, the meals we had were delicious. Pool area was lovely and very much appreciated!

Aircon could have worked a bit better. Would also be nice if there were fly screens on the windows so you can enjoy the sounds and smells of the rainforest without the bugs.

We loved the location of the premises, the layout and cleanliness of the chalet style rooms and how friendly the staff were. Even the drive to get there was an adventure that the kids loved. My only wish is that we stayed longer. While there is limited mobile service, it was nice to stop and take in the beauty of our surroundings.

The menu in the restaurant is a little on the pricey side, however its one of the few venues for patrons to eat in that area and food delivery there isn't as simple as a quick trip to the shops. All in all, it was yummy, and we all went back to our room for the night feeling satisfied!

Fantastic location in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest. Staff were kind and welcoming when at the desk but we missed them a couple of times. We were given a free room upgrade (not sure why!) which we were very happy about - we thought it was a mistake but the staff assured us it wasn't! Room was clean, spacious, complimentary toiletries etc. The standout for us was the Night tour (at an extra cost and available to book at reception) around the Dubuji Boardwalk with the local guide. It was an unreal 3 hours and we saw bioluminescent trees, scorpions, spiders, ants etc. it was utterly incredible and was a fantastic experience.

Not much! Having a microwave would have been good but would have been a bonus as the restaurant was quite pricey. But it wasn't expected as it wasn't included in our booking confirmation so we were aware of what the facilities were.

Amazing location and beautiful lush setting. Loved the pool and restaurant area. Room was very airy and clean. Bed was very comfy and the aircon and fan worked well.

I think the room just lacked a few finishing touches. No utensils (tea/coffee and mugs were there, but no spoons). Walls are bare and could use a picture or two. No bedside tables.

Nice house, big bed and obviously a beautiful location. We took the night walk as well and that was just magical!

We were disappointed that the pool was closed. They pointed out the pool to us at reception but didn't mention it was closed so we got changed and walked there, ready for one of the only facilities the place had but had to offer to then return to our room... Yes I understand pools need maintenance or whatever was going on with it but a little warning or a compensation would have been nice ("our pool is closed but here's a voucher for a little discount on a meal". Everyone wins, we are warned and now we will eat at the restaurant as well.), especially if your pool is such a big feature.

This place is idealic if the idea of being genuinely 'in' the rainforest appeals, you leave your lodge and walk through the leaves and the first to get to the outdoor reception and reception area. The air con in our room was amazing, brand new updated units! The staff were lovely and the access to the experience of the rainforest was so easy, we'd definitely come back. Nothing stood out as a problem for us, this place is in the middle of the rainforest, if you don't like the humidity, a few bugs and the quiet of the trees then maybe it's not for you :D we stayed in the budget rooms, they're not quite as plush as the main lodges but perfect for us, we want to be outside and checking out the world.
