The location is excellent. Right on gran via.. We could easily roam about the city & be back at the hotel. Food was easily available around the hotel. There is a metro station closeby. We had a family room overlooking the gran via (with balcony) and had some amazing views. There were two rooms and 1 bathroom for us. The children had a lot of space for themselves. The check in staff was good and helpful. The service staff was also good. Kept our room very tidy.

The breakfast could have been better. the staff at the breakfast was also dis-interested and hardly helped us. Also, the corridors are small which lead to the room. They could have been lit better but these are small imperfections which can be overlooked.

Room was bright and clean, with ample space to walk around the bed with two large luggage bags. Shower was also clean, with good water pressure . Bed was comfortable and considering the hotel is located on one of the busiest roads in Madrid, alot of the sound is blocked out to ensure a good night sleep. Air conditioning was great and tv comfortable size.

After getting out of the lift, there were additional stair steps (about 8 to 10) to get to the room (as the floor had a split level). Because of this, we were still required to lift our luggage over the steps before our room. If you have large luggage, this might be a problem.

Travelled with elderly and disabled parents visiting family. Our rooms were excellent. My parents room had a fully functioning disabilty bathroom. Completle with all mod cons required by wheelchair dependent guests. My room a standard twin was compact but extremly clean. Our hotel booking was not chesp but the rooms exceeded our expectations. Great location as well.

Nothing all expectations met. My room a bit vosy but my parents accessible room far exceeded expectations

The location was so convenient, it exceeded our expectations. It was close to the action but so quiet. I’ve never seen a hotel room this clean! Check in and out was extremely smooth and the area felt very safe.

The mattresses were extremely hard. Even though they put two twin beds together to make a double bed for us, it was still uncomfy because the beds would separate. Nothing can replace a real double bed.

Friendly staff when checking in and in the cafe. Great location and easy to walk to areas of interest.

When we checked out, we were unable to have a taxi organised for travel to the train station. We were told to go to Gran Via and hail down a taxi. This was very unsuccessful, so we asked the staff at the Hyatt Central for help. Maria was wonderful and went above and beyond to organise a taxi for us. Thank you to Maria from Hyatt Central.

We had a room for three people. Requested an extra bed. Was pleasantly surprised to see we had the extra bed in an area that could be its own room. The view from the room was gorgeous. I enjoyed the separate space and privacy of the extra bed in its own space. Comfy beds. Clean bathrooms with bathtub and shower. Was super happy with it. Staff at breakfast buffet was a little rude but checking in at the front desk was great

Location was amazing. The front desk was very helpful. Luggage service - We were able to leave our luggage at the lobby on our last day despite having checked out allowing us to explore the city the during our last day easily without luggage.

The heater was not working, however, they quickly came to help and fixed it. We had a window to the courtyard and therefore had no sunlight at all. Unfortunately, the blanket wasn't that clean.

I booked a balcony room at the Hotel Regente Madrid, and it couldn't be better. I could see the wonderful scenery of the downtown street from my room, and its view vividly lingers still in my memory. On location wise, the hotel is located at the center of Gran Via, making it super easy for you to get to any of the tourist attractions in the city. It is only less than 10-15 min walking distance from the Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol, so I could spend quality time having late dinner at two of the most lively spots in Madrid. Madrid Palace and Sabatini Gardens were in the vicinity, but I had to take a taxi to Prado museum Reina Sofia Museum, two of which I would like to suggest to all visitors to the town!!

Dining space is not spacious enough, but it is not too small for what you can usually see in Europe.

The perfect hotel with traditional style. I always visit this hotel since 1989. It is recently renovated, with clean rooms and very good service. The metro station in 3 minutes walk. Around the hotel you can find everything, restaurants, cafès, super- market and Corte Iglès.

The location is great, very central with metro and bus nearby. Staff was nice, even though when we were checking in the receptionist kept speaking to me in Spanish even after I asked her to speak in English. The rooms are very comfortable, well decorated and modern.

The breakfast was only ok, the food was always the same and not much variety to choose from, even though the food was good there could have been more options.
