Luxury enveloped by opulence. Villa Serbelloni is the definition of a grand hotel. I was fortunate to be a guest in this magnificent home. Our room was an an oasis. Linens were luxurious, bathrooms glistening marble, turndown service every evening. The smallest details were important; from doors being opened every time we came and went, to the delicate fragrance of the linens. Each morning, breakfast was served in the grand ballroom. We had an exceptional dinner at Mistral. We enjoyed sitting in the salon and listening to music in the evening. The concierge arranged for a private boat tour of Como. We very much enjoyed being there during shoulder season. Would highly recommend going at this time (March-May) and avoiding crowds that are undoubtedly there during the warmer months. They have a beautiful indoor pool and relaxing spa if swimming outdoors is not possible. It's always lovely having a coffee or a cocktail at the outdoor bar overlooking beautiful lake Como.

Nothing. Everything was perfect about this location. Yes it was expensive $1100 per night but you get what you pay for.

The villa is grand and elegant, with amazing amenities. The spa is beautiful, and the breakfast room is just as impressive. The location is excellent, right on the water and in the town, with a lovely garden and outdoor pool to enjoy, I can imagine how nice it would be to stay their in summer! The staff were very polite and helpful. The room had great storage, and we really enjoyed the food at La Goletta.

The bed was very hard and uncomfortable, which made it difficult to sleep well. It was also tricky to manage the room temperature. Even with the thermostat, it was not easy to get it right. There was a wedding happening right next to our room. Although the music ended exactly at midnight, we had not been informed about the event, and the noise from cleaning up and moving furniture afterward was loud and quite disturbing.

One word. Perfect. Our stay was just how we had imagined. Late to check in but then we were upgraded to a villa with a balcony. Lobby is magnificient. Piano room along with restaurant is just amazing. Pool very decent size with a diving board. Access to lake with a diving board. Booked a private boat to visit Villa del balbienello arranged by the hotel. Our kids loved the hotel and very friendly staff. Parking was without a hassle especially valet. Very welcoming. definitely will be back for more days. Loved the town of Bellagio. I think best place to stay in Lake Como and one of the best hotel we have ever stayed at.

Grand Hotel villa Serbelloni is an amazing palatial hotel located right in the centre of Bellagio where you can embrace the beauty of this hamlet! Just step out of the grounds and you have restaurants, artisanal shops and a strip for shopping. It is a villa of a bygone era with old charm and exquisite interior. Room with a balcony was spacious and had a magnificent view of the lake. It is truly top notch accommodation but well worth the fairytale experience! Service was impeccable and staff friendly and professional. Nothing was too much! Room service occurs twice a day and they are always accommodating. Staff could not be faulted and made your stay extra special. Buffet Breakfast in a ballroom is amazingly jaw dropping with its decore, abundance of food and quality professional service. It has an indoor and outdoor pool that are large and well appointed. The lounge area is quite regal and the atmosphere with a piano player playing gave it a touch of class! It did not lack facilities and included a spa space. Outside are glorious gardens and a bar restaurant to have an aperitive and snack in style overlooking the lake. Thank you to all at Villa Serbelloni for making our stay memorable and special!

Desing and location

The restaurant near the pool is the worst dining experience EVER. It was like a canteen for a staff. It is a shame that the Hotel of such history and calling itself Grand can feed their guests in a place like that.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni in Bellagio, and it exceeded all my expectations. Located on the shores of Lake Como, the hotel offers breathtaking views, luxurious accommodations, and impeccable service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, making us feel truly pampered. I highly recommend this hotel for an unforgettable stay in Bellagio.

Everything was great except the weather but the staff was always ready with an umbrella

Wonderful property amazing really the best hotel I have ever been in my life the staff so professional so nice the owner of the property can be proud of them excellent breakfast and le restaurant le mistral grande cuisine du cordon blue bravo au chef and all his team le sommelier as well . The piano lobby was beautiful and with nice ambiance excellent cocktails and excellent service thanks a lot for all the personnels and staff of grand hotel villa de Serbelloni The room lovely decorated the bathroom has shower and bathtub as well the service of the transportation from Milan airport and from the hotel to Milan airport was excellent service thanks for the nice professional driver sénior LUIGI . Hopefully being in grand hotel villa Serbelloni on my next trip to Bellagio next year on may or on October once again arrivederci 🇮🇹❤️

Breakfast was excellent. There could have been some sweet rolls but I am pushing to find a negative. The selection was the norm and if you really wanted to stand out I would suggest something out of the ordinary that only you would have. Service was outstanding and the food was excellent.

Nothing. My only suggestion would to do a signature dish that only you do! The last 18 GM drive up was frightening and I couldn’t believe that we had to go down a people traffic street to get to the hotel but there is no silutuon and once we got there we calmed down.

Beautiful location on the point with a fantastic pool and facilities. Access to the lake and valet parking. Opulent lobby and breakfast hall with fantastic offerings. Rooms clean and well tendered. Overall, affordable luxury.

Drinks a little pricey. Some staff questioned if we were guests (perhaps this was from a lack of visible luxury brands?). Beds and pillows hard and air con not the best although it was quite hot. Some guests very pretentious and arrogant but this is not the fault of the hotel and can be expected at a place like this. Still highly recommended for a luxurious stay in Bellagio, especially if you want a pool and private lake access!

I chose this hotel specifically because it seemed perfect for someone who planned to just stay on the grounds. I came here after finishing a 9 day hike trip, so I walked around the town of Bellagio a bit, but I mostly relaxed on property. There was an amazing pianist that played in the lobby at night. The beach area with lake access was convenient to a dining areas with food and drinks.

On the day of check in my room was not ready until after 5pm. I had travelled from Sirmione that day and was quite tired and hot. I waited in the lobby and at the outdoor terrace restaurant from around 11am in the same clothes I had traveled in. For a property that is so expensive, I would expect to have access to the room at least by check in time (2pm). I still paid full price and wasn’t offered so much as a drink for compensation, a little odd for high-end hospitality.
