My stay at the Mercure Hotel St. Julian’s was simply spectacular. From the very first moment, the staff welcomed me with a warm smile and impeccable professionalism. The attention to detail was evident in every corner of the hotel: modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable rooms, with an impressive view of the city and the sea. The location is perfect—right in the vibrant heart of St. Julian’s, just steps away from restaurants, shops, and the beautiful Maltese coastline, yet quiet enough to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. Breakfast was another highlight: varied, delicious, and made with fresh ingredients every day. The rooftop pool is pure luxury. Relaxing there at sunset, with panoramic views, is a priceless experience. Plus, the gym and common areas are always spotless. I highly recommend Mercure St. Julian’s to anyone looking for quality, comfort, and a experience in Malta. I’ll definitely be back!

Hotel located very conveniently, bus stop 2 mins away. Staff were truly helpful and always wearing a smile on their faces. And breakfast was definitely above my expectations - a variety of food (also for vegeterians like myself), freshly squizzed orange juice, tasty pastries, coffee from a machine.

The property is in a very good location and very strategic place as the bus stop is three minutes walk away. The hotel was super clean,breakfast was superb and being a vegan I was able to find bits and pieces to eat.- I had booked myself a double room with a back on h and sea view and upon checking Marie got me to a surprise that I’ve been upgraded to a Privilege Double room with a balcony and a beautiful sea view. Must say the staff were super amazing haven’t felt so much love in a hotel and so upon extending my stay for one more day as I had activities to finish i extended and got me a double room with no balcony and no view. As I got ready to pack and leave my beautiful room to the smaller room I got a call that o could keep my room and that melted my heart as I was already comfortable and didn’t have to pack and unpack. Alison amazing receptionist who was always smiling and welcomin,Marie another beautiful soul and Supervisor Javier for letting this gal keep her room,. Alison,Javier and Marie bless you all for making my stay amazing .

Kindly have plant based milk for vegans in breakfast buffet. So much construction all around the hotel and in general almost everywhere around Malta it could get noisy if you the kind to wake up later as constructions start early around the hotel but that’s out of the hotel so control and it’s acceptable.

Spacious, clean, powerful, hot shower and very comfortable bed. Rooftop is nice, would be good if they had sauna/steam room facilities. Location is great, on the edge of st Julian's so it's easy access to the town, as well as being able to get out easily (bus stop is at the end of the road). They have parking as well, which was one of my main reasons for booking here.

Areas for improvement - a sauna/steam room would elevate this hotel - complimentary bottled water every day in room (only provided on first day 😱) - towels need an update (bit worn from overuse) - slippers/robe in rooms (I asked for slippers and they were provided, but they should be standard)

Great location, daily room cleaning, lovely rooftop area, modern hotel and helpful staff, rooms were nice and modern. Nice air conditioning. Long checkout times/breakfast times and security at nights.

Some staff were still in training and made a few mistakes in terms of being a bit slow to pick up on things and wrong orders etc but that’s to be expected. Whilst rooms were cleaned daily there were a few issues including some areas having a high dust build up and bent sofa bed, damage to balcony door etc. Breakfast was nice but the photos on the page are slightly misleading compared to what is served in reality. These are all minor gripes to an overall fantastic stay

The roof top pool was lovely, beautiful views of the bay, the water was refreshing just what you need on a hot day. Breakfast was nice had a good selection, with freshly squeezed orange juice which was a nice touch. Beds were comfy!

The breakfast was nice but the eggs weren't great they were precooked and put in a warming plate, it would be nice to have to option of cooked tp order eggs to your liking (fried boiled etc) and some smoked salmon / prossecco would have made it feel more luxurious. It's a bit overpriced for what it is. Food around the pool could do with improvement, and some bar staff could have been more helpful and welcoming.

*Wish there was plant based milk for vegans for breakfast. *Lots of construction around the hotel and generally around Malta so if you sleep in till late you might be woken up earlier by the noises around but that’s out of hotel’s control *Being winter the hotel pool and bar were dead but that’s okay but the view is beautiful from up there.

Central location near airport and I’m walking distance from everything in st Julian’s easy bus access to all other areas eg valetta Spinnola bay a short walk to go for a sea dip and rooftop area nice

No non alcoholic options at the pool disappointing as I was pregnant and sick of fizzy drinks and water everyday Beer on tap would be nice as cans as a bit sickly but they did have bottles of corona for my partner Pool was nice but freezing 🥶 Loungers were okay but a few had dips from over use prob be useful to add cushions and the far side of the pool is tight for space can’t really walk around the loungers We would have liked a room with a balcony/terrace but there was none available Cleaners were fine but did not fill up the bottles of toiletries .. which was a little annoying and we weren’t given water everyday either.

Lots of restaurants (for tourists) nearby, very touristy area. On-site parking was helpful, as street parking isn’t always available in St Juliens. The room was spacious and air conditioned. Cleaned everyday by staff. Bottled water was provided. The quality of stay was superb given the price. Renting manual cars in Malta is super cheap and it was convenient to have car rental available at the airport.

The way down to the parking lot is very narrow and it can’t possibly have two cars going in/out at the same time; we had to be extra careful when making turns (driving a manual car added difficulties to it). The towels were replaced daily, however, they smelled of light sweat that you’d get on worn summer clothes.

Excellent location and staff (super motivated always with a smile on their faces - thank you all) Available to my request to an earlier check-in (even if i didn't use it). Without any request, they upgraded my reservation to a see view chamber. Parking is available on the underground of the hotel. Excellent breakfast with lots of variety for all tastes. Swimming pool on the top floor, even with 1 meter deep, makes the pleasure of lots of people, a bar is available on the roof area.

I don't know why, but even with double-sided windows on the 7th floor, we can ear some annoying noises from outside.
