Excellent value for money. It’s a hostel but with private rooms. Close to the beach. We had a room with a private bathroom. Kettle, fridge, cutlery and crockery in the room. Nice big smart TV in the room. Communal kitchen on the deck outside the room was great. Laundry available too. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

I need a dark room to sleep well. There were fluorescent lights on the deck that stayed on all night and lit up the room. Curtains didn’t shut the light out. I had to put the blanket over the window to shut out the light.

Very quiet and safe resort with attractive and well maintained garden and pool and undercover parking. The bathroom in our room was new and spacious and the aircon and TV in our room worked very well. There is a handy small communal bar fridge, table and chairs and a couch outside our room. The beach is just a short walk across the road where there is a playground and barbeque facilities. There is a big main kitchen area and a small cooking area near our room. There was a very friendly group of people from Vanuatu staying at the resort who are working in the area but kept to themselves. The supermarket is a short drive. The manager and cleaner were very friendly and informative.

You have to walk far or drive to get to a safety stinger netted enclosure. Our bedroom was too small for two adults with luggage or for a table and chair. The main shared kitchen walls, cupboards, and pots are old and worn and even though there is a few gas stoves only a couple of stove hubs work so need to wait.

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed my stay here. The staff member/manager who provided me with instructions for my room was incredibly friendly and provided me with some great advice for my holiday for where to see the best views. The room (while appearing somewhat quaint in appearance) had everything I wanted: free WiFi, towels, shower, cutlery, crockery, kettle, and a smart Television (which could easily be adjusted to be viewed from most places in the room). Right next to my room outside there was a small kitchen area with everything I was hoping for there (e.g. refrigerator, microwave, toaster, various cooking utensils). While I did not swim in the pool outside or use the main common area much I appreciated that there was the option to use both facilities. If I ever visit Mission Beach in future I will definitely try to book here again 🙂

Somewhat easy to hear noise between rooms (especially if someone is having a shower) - this only happened once after I had also had a shower so I'm not sure it's a massive issue.

Scotty was so helpful and accommodating - he was able to help with dinner suggestions, transport and where the closest supermarket was and made sure we had everything we needed. Amenities were great and we had a kettle, toaster, fridge, microwave and cutlery/plates. The bedroom was very tidy and clean, as was the bathroom. Scottys was right by the beautiful beach. Great value for money!

Though close to the beach, the closest restaurant and/or shop is roughly 25mins walk. If you’d like to visit the main mission beach area then you can get a taxi for around $20 which is under 10 mins. Recommend a car here.

The accomodation was better than we expected! We stayed for one night as we were only passing through. The rooms are like small sheds, but with a good sized bed and modern bathroom. Good value for money and the beach is only a short walk away. There were workers living on site who were lovely - we collected coconuts from the beach and they helped us to cut them open so we could drink them. The host was really friendly upon check in too.

On arrival Mark was welcoming and very helpful. He shared some great local knowledge about Woolies hours, places to eat and local free courtesy bus. This room exceeded my expectations (especially given the price). The room was clean, bed comfy, recently reno'd bathroom with rainfall shower and great pool. Scotty's was located in a great spot also - easy walking distance to woolworths and the beach. If you're looking for something budget friendly, in a good location, I would recommend

Beautiful location. All of the rooms had a nice deck area at the front. Beautiful green lawn and gardens. Great kitchen area, modern bathrooms, all areas were very clean and tidy, friendly, helpful staff, everything we needed was provided. Very peaceful and relaxing

The room was just as we expected. We wanted value for money, clean room and ensuite. Met all expectations. Debby was also lovely and helped us settle in and gave us some great travel tips.

One of the guests was somewhat intrusive and we had to retreat to our room!

Awesome friendly staff who go above and beyond in making you feel welcome. Fantastic value and awesome location. Lovely and quiet with a beautiful pool and cold air con. What more could you want? Will definitely be back.

Mark was so polite and accomodating! Traveling as a couple it was very cosy and great value for money.

There is minimal female presence during our night there which some female travellers coming alone may want to consider.
