Much better than the wonderful reviews you read as you experienced the hotel yourself. The hospitality was exceptional from free champagne, the thoughtful reminder from reception to our guide to bring us back to the hotel before 11am for the breakfast and a simple packed sandwich for us on the go after we check out at noon. Meals at the hotel were the highlight of the stay as well beside the beautiful room. The breakfast menu was extensive and much effort was put in for each dish to ensure they are a feast to the eyes as well. Equal attention was given to the afternoon tea. Staffs were cheerful and professional. A reason for us to be back in Chiang Mai again would be to stay in this hotel.

The property is beautiful, the staff are amazing, attentive and helpful. The food at the restaurant is innovative and delicious! Property is walking distance to sites in the old city and is centrally located. It is truly an oasis in Chiang Mai. The pool is nice to have afternoon dips in when the sun is out. Rooms were really comfortable with amazing amenities. I will definitely be back, I didn’t want to leave- I’ve traveled all over the world and this hotel is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed.

Everything was perfect.

We wanted to stay in the Old Town section of Chiang Mai, the walled section of the city. The Inside House exceeded our expectations. It is a 30 room boutique Hotel located within walking distance of good restaurants and beautiful Temples. The design of the rooms and property remind me of Hotels of an era gone by. The staff was outstanding, very helpful and responsive when needed. The breakfast offered with the stay was the best we have enjoyed on our trip to three countries. At our request they arranged pickup and drop off at the airport as well (additional fee) that was very helpful.

The Inside House was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed in - I could not recommend it enough if you're staying in Chiang Mai. From the moment we arrived we felt the warmth of the very attentive and friendly staff. The hotel is visually stunning - particularly at night when all the twinkly lights and candles are lit. Each room comes with a fantastic breakfast offering in the Ghin restaurant (includes local breakfast choices as well as more western options) as well as a lovely afternoon tea each day. Sadly we never had dinner at the Ghin restaurant, but the breakfasts each morning were so good and each day we both tried something new off the menu and were never disappointed - the Lanna breakfast was my favourite! On arrival we had a bottle of sparking wine and fresh local fruit in our room which was a nice touch. We had also paid a small fee for the hotel's airport transfer service and it was WELL worth it - we were picked up from the arrivals area in a flashy Mercedes S Class limo with reclining leather seats which made for a very comfortable journey to the hotel. The hotel pool is lovely and there's a phone by the pool so you can order cocktails and snacks - very handy! Chiang Mai is an incredibly walkable city - particularly the historic old town, and the hotel is situated in the south west corner of the old town. Wat Phra Singh is a very short walk away. There are two very nice cocktail bars a stone's throw from the hotel's front door: Nophaburi Bar and Bitter Truth Bar as well as a range of different restaurants if you fancy dining outside of the hotel's own fabulous restaurant. On check out the hotel provided us with a packed sandwich which was a lovely touch for our journey back to the airport. We'll definitely be coming back to visit Chiang Mai in the future and I'll definitely be booking with the Inside House again.

The hotel is just beautiful and build around a wonderful tree we would sit next to when having breakfast in the morning. We had wonderful baked goods for breakfast and the staff were so kind and accommodating to us especially in respect of our young son. I also loved the smoothie my partner ordered and my coffee was also good. The afternoon tea was so lavish we barely had room for it and the evening treat came as a pleasant daily surprise. The room was beautiful and both the room and bathroom were so spacious and bright. These were the best accommodations of all the hotels I stayed at in Thailand. I was very comfortable here.

The private pool was quite cold. Also I think the music in the restaurant could be better, it seems perhaps intended to appeal to Western travelers, but seemed not very natural.

Beautiful hotel that is very well located. the staff were very helpful and kind. The food options and breakfast were great. Fresh fruit was provided in the room every day and the hotel staff has a lot of attention to details that makes the stay very comfortable and nice (for example, lots of fresh water provided every day, free minibar, afternoon tea).

The bathroom feels larger than the rest of the room. This may be nice for some but we would have preferred a larger room with a table where you can do some work. However, some may prefer this and there is not much the hotel can do about it since the hotel is build in this style with larger bathrooms.

My wife and I loved everything about this hotel! What an amazing time we had at the INSIDE HOUSE. They go above and beyond. Ex: We left our souvenirs one night in the lobby after a Sunday night at the local market, and we did not realize this until we got back home a week later to Florida, USA. I wrote them an email and immediately got a response from "Mr. Tommy the Night Supervisor" and he assisted us with getting our souvenirs shipped back home 9,178 miles away! We definitely recommend this beautiful hotel if you are ever in Chiang Mia.

The breakfast was exceptional. The service was attentive and very accommodating. The food selection was tasteful and broad. We enjoyed it each day of our stay. The afternoon tea, we were only able to partake once, but it did not disappoint. It was beautifully prepared and presented. The pool in our suite was a nice addition. The grounds were manicured and natural. The location was walkable to both the old and new sections of Chiang Mai. We also received a welcome package that made the stay extra special. We will return!

everything; literally everything. The staff is beyond helpful and caring, the hotel is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever seen. In the future for other hotels; it will be hard to satisfy us after staying here :)) spoiled everyday with complimentary afternoon teas, the delicious food they serve, the gifts, cleanest rooms and pools… they even provide hair straighteners for ladies I mean how more thoughtful can they be? I know price is higher than average chiang mai hotels but worth it.. totally worth it.

we loved every second of our stay, however at nights, the pool was a bit noisy. It’s fine though, after a while, you get used to it.☺️
