Great apartment with lovely view from the room and balcony. Very spacious and clean. Lovely onsite restaurant it is a 40 mins walk into the city of Napier but we knew this, you can drive in easily if you want to. We were there at the perfect time as it was a weekend festival, everyone dressed in 1920's outfits and hundreds of vintage cars. we did the walking tour which was very interesting

We loved our room! We were surprised by the amazing view, having windows on the front and side, therefore got a 180 degree view of Ahuriri water front. Loved sleeping with the door open, having a beautiful sea breeze come through with the sound of the ocean. It was located in a beautiful beach setting, lots of little shops and cafes close, pathways along the beach for walking/bike riding etc. I highly recommend this spot.

We loved the room. It was spacious, comfortable, warm..and kept out the morning light, incredible. Had all the conveniences of coffee, tea etc. The bathroom was nice and large esp the shower, only 2 things though: 1. A bath mightʻve been nice to have for a soak. 2. Option of having the noisy demist on or off. The Bed was comfortable and we slept soundly.

Myself and my partner stayed 2 nights. Was completely satisfied with our whole experience at East Pier Hotel. My partner was a head housemaid for nearly 6 years, so her personal standards are quite high, we were both blown away with how clean this hotel is. Well done to the housemaids, everyone was so friendly too. Makes things very welcoming

Located at the same place as function so that was great . Rooms are extremely clean. The bed was very comfortable

We didn’t have a toaster in our room . When we enquired we were told that the smoke alarms were to sensitive to be used in the rooms . For $300 a night I think they should either have a room for you to make your own toast or just put a toaster in the room

The room was nice with a lovely patio facing the sea with seats and a table. The beds were very comfortable and we were happy with the view of the sea. The room we had had a spacious bathroom and a fridge with plates, mugs and cutlery to make your own breakfast. Reception provided milk as we needed it.

There was no cleaning agent for washing dishes and no tea towel provided to dry washed dishes.

The reception staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Housekeeping were lovely.. The bed was super comfortable and the room spotless..

We had lunch in the restaurant the food was really good...The Restaurant itself is very tired and shabby looking.. Waited awhile to pay the bill as there weren't any staff members around.. Wouldn't go back there...

Our room was so spacious. Having a bar, restaurant an room service is a bonus. The food was amazing our compliments to the chef. Meals were also reasonably priced. Great location an view of the beach. The beach is literally a short distance.

The room didn’t have a sink in the kitchenette. There was no dishwashing liquid to clean utensils. It wasn’t a major as we ordered room service but we ran out of knives an forks lol.

Clean, modern and well equipped property with ample parking. Helpful pleasant staff. Great location.

The rooms all opened out in a U-shape. Unfortunately some guests chose to party and talk loudly from their open room until after 2am with no consideration for other guests. Obviously no staff member asked them to quieten down, maybe there were no staff onsite overnight?

The lady at reception was lovely, the cleaning crew were very helpful and done an amazing job. I booked two rooms and both were nice. My sister's and I enjoyed our stay.

My sister's and I didn't like the fact we had to carry our luggage upstairs, two of my sister's are 60 + years old if it wasn't for a man we didn't know carry all our belongings up the stairs we would've been stuffed, at least put in a lift or get a bell boy.. We also didn't like the fact there was no where to cook our food we had to go by a burner to cook.. Paying $699 for one night you'd think there would be at least a cooking area.
