Ortensia cottage ideal for two couples. Each couple with its own bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen quite well equipped, but indeed the frying pan or kettle is years behind. In the refrigerator only one working shelf so it was cramped with food for a week for 4 people. The furniture in the living room is also older but in the bedroom the beds are comfortable, mattresses of the firmer ones and such we like. One of the towels on arrival was dirty but we had our own, most of the towels were gently patched, a lot of spider webs but otherwise clean. Of the things I pay attention to the colorful bedding with patterns (not white) does not assure me that it is well washed, but that's just my peculiarity. The pool and green areas on the other hand are breathtaking, insane views. Very close to Siena and grocery stores (6-7 min by car). People were really nice and smiling.

Pool, location, the apartment itself. 7-min drive to all necessary infrastructure: supermarket, pharmacy, pizzeria. Right within 10-min. drive to Sienna, an hour drive to Florence and Montepulciano and 40 min. drive to wonderful St Gimignano. Strongly recommend to visit restaurant Peruca in St Gimignano, not a tourist place with awesome cuisine and extra-class service. Not cheap.

Sound-proofing was awful. Could not sleep as there was a small kid in the adjacent apartment and he was crying late at night and early in the morning.

Just returned from a 10 night stay. The location is fantastic. Just a 10 minute drive from Siena and beautiful scenery every where you looked. The facilities were excellent especially the swimming pool, which was so relaxing and huge! We will definitely return to this accommodation as I think we would struggle to find anything better.

There wasn’t really anything to complain about. The only thing we could have done with was a couple of items, like water, milk and bread, as we arrived late at night and there were no shops open.

Beautiful place in a beautiful part of Italy. Vineyards all around, yet only 5-10 minutes from Siena and the main road, so perfect location for exploring Tuscany while staying in the countryside. The apartment was spacious, warm and the duvets on the bed were absolutely gorgeous - soft and large and perfectly heavy, I need to find one for my own bedroom. We had our own private garden, which was perfect for breakfast or relaxing in the evening. The whole complex was beautifully cared for and it looked picture-perfect. Definitely recommend for a stay in Tuscany!

The walls are surprisingly thin, so we couldn't sleep during our last night because of a ridiculously loud group next door. Also, too many emails before arrival :)

Superb pool & surrounding grounds. Very quiet & our apartment was well maintained and clean. Any requests were dealt with immediately

Wifi a bit patchy & if you are tall ( I am 6’4”) the bed in our apartment (Verbena) had an end to it so was a little small

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment over some really hot days in July and although the furnishings were basic it was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked really well. The pool area was fabulous with an absolutely gorgeous view across the vineyards. Leticia was lovely, easy to deal with and very responsive. Especially given the time of year, it represented fantastic value for money.

Staff were super responsive, accommodating to our needs and helpful with extra info. Pool was so lovely - just a shame the weather was not on our side - too cold to swim! The Gardens as so realxed. Location, Room size and facilities were excellent.

Could've had better outdoor furniture in the garden, around the BBQ area.

Beautiful serene quiet surroundings, huge big clean villa with all the necessary facilities, host was very hospitable and accommodating, pool area is stunning, views to die for.

Bed was a little uncomfortable in that when my partner moved, he’d wake me, otherwise nothing. it was all fantastic

Amazing location in Toscana, big apartment rustically decorated. Friendly staff. 15 minutes drive from Siena. Loved it!
