I loved the location close to Termini, and close enough to the sights whilst being out of the main crazy busy tourist spots. Some fabulous eating options on the doorstep too The room was quite small, but very comfortable, clean and equipped with what you need, and the lovely balcony was a welcome addition. The shower was great and the provided products smelt lovely. The bed was firm and very comfortable in my opinion, handy having a kettle and mini bar fridge too. Everyone at the hotel was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, there were breakfast and drinks options available, which we didn't use but the the dining area looked very inviting. I loved that it was in the 3rd floor of an older style Italian building, the old lift added to the charm, and because it was high up there was no road noise at all. I am hoping to return to return to Rome, as in the 2 days we were here, I feel like I just scratched the surface, I would definitely stay at Lilium Boutique again, it was a lovely charming little place. There are some great coffee shops, gelato options and food options on the doorstep and the fabulous Termini Mercato is about 10-15 minutes walk away and that is out of this world for food and drink choice. Supermarket options on the doorstep too The big red bus (8 stops) hop on and hop off bus was a great way to maximise limited time and cover lots of ground in the high summer temperatures. If you venture out try 2 sizes Tiramisu, and Mimi e Coco for lunch. Near the hotel go to pizzium on Paive (literally a minute round the corner) and the al Paive restaurant on the corner under the hotel building. The Gelateria across the road is out of this world - locals are queuing out the door still at 11pm it's that good. 😊

Some reviews I read mentioned how hard it is to find the entrance once you get to the hotel - it isn't. A huge old style wooden door, look for the brass plaques with the hotel name on, mounted in the door recess on both sides. Ring the bell (it is indicated clearly which one to press) and you will gain access with no problems 😊

This is a gorgeous little family run hotel. It’s in an old and very characteristic building which we loved. The owners are lovely, they really made us feel at home! The breakfast was great, lots of options. It’s on a Main Street with many restaurants and an amazing gelataria nearby - it’s not quite in the main city centre where the hub-bub and all the things like Trevi fountain etc are but it’s a 20-25 minute walk or a short taxi ride from most of the main spots you’ll want to go to. And Rome is a very walkable city.

It had such a lovely vintage vibe and many interesting details such as the giant plant in lobby, the beautifully restored wood floors, tiled bathroom and the color palette which reminded me of an ice cream parlor. Room had a nice big window next to the bed and everything I needed in the mini-bar which saved me a trip to the bodega. Will definitely stay again!

The location was excellent - a short walk from the landmarks and Roma Termini and there was a bus-stop near the hotel for a bus to the Vatican. The hotel itself was in a beautiful Italian apartment building and the room was very quaint. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite.

Because the hotel is over some floors of a regular residential building, it was a little difficult to find the door the first time. Perhaps the hotel signage could be a little more obvious because I'm sure we weren't the first ones to walk past the door a few times, dragging our cases behind us.

The hotel was darling, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for us as we needed to be near the embassy. It is not in such a tourist-heavy area, but it was also close to the Borghese Gardens and not too far from the metro stop. We also did some early morning walking to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps.

Although the breakfast staff was friendly, the food wasn't very fresh. Also, if you are a light sleeper bring some earplugs because the traffic can be loud.

The location was great, close to subway stations and to various sightseeing spots. We were able to walk up to the Colosseum and other nice places. The room was spacious enough for us, and really clean. We are grateful to the staff for cleaning up the room everyday. The host at the reception was so nice, he even gave us two bottles of water for free when we left to get to the airport, as he saw us so tired of walking around in the crazy heatwave. Thank you, guys! Nice stay! Hope we will be back some time soon.

Not necessarily that we did not like it, but the breakfast room was a bit too small, and at some point it would become a bit crowded. Also, to be honest, we hoped to have better coffee for breakfast, but it was ok after all.

We recently stayed at the Lilium Boutique Hotel and had a genuinely fantastic experience. The hotel is full of charm and character, with beautifully decorated rooms that blend classic Roman style with modern comfort. Everything was exceptionally clean, which made the stay feel even more relaxing and enjoyable. During some very hot days in Rome, the room stayed pleasantly cool thanks to the well-functioning air conditioning and ceiling fan—definitely appreciated after long days of sightseeing! The location is ideal: tucked away in a quiet area but still within easy walking distance of major attractions like the Spanish Steps and Trevi Fountain, with plenty of great local cafes and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was a lovely touch each morning, with fresh pastries and great coffee served in a beautiful and traditional setting. The attention to detail throughout the hotel—from the floral decor to the thoughtful amenities—really made the stay special. The staff were brilliant too, always smiling and saying hello! We absolutely recommend Lilium Boutique Hotel to anyone looking for a stylish, spotless, and well-located place to stay in Rome. It made our trip extra memorable, and we’ll definitely be returning!

Hotel is really nice and comfortable, 12 min walking from main train station. To coloseum around 15-20 minutes walking, but next to the hotel several bus stops, which will bring you anywhere in Rome and back, so logistic wise location is great, not far from historcial city, but at the same time at safe and calm area. We had room with balcony on the street, but windows are with very good isolation, so no issues with noice. Room is quite tight, but still we stayed 3 nights with my mom without any discomfort. Breakfast is fine, defenitely worth time, as in Rome we had very busy agenda and couldn't waste time for looking where to eat, so breakfast in the hotel was best option for us. Cherry on top for me were organic shower products, really enjoyed

There are no laundry services and shower cabin is really tight even for slim person
