From August 18 to 21, 2025, I stayed at the Plaza Hotel, part of Philian Hotels and Resorts, in Thessaloniki’s vibrant Ladadika district, the city’s most charming area filled with restaurants and entertainment. Having visited Thessaloniki for 20 years, this was one of my best experiences. My family and I enjoyed three nights of exceptional service, a phenomenal breakfast beyond expectations, and incredibly kind staff. The hotel’s organized parking system, rare for Thessaloniki, made our stay seamless. I can’t wait to return to this gem of a hotel and highly recommend it. A big thank you to the entire Plaza Hotel staff for making our trip unforgettable!

The hotel is with very good location. It’s a bit noisy area but when the windows are closed it’s quiet enough. A parking is available at the port. The breakfast was delicious. The hotel staff were very polite and friendly.

You can give more instructions about parking opportunities in advance when people make their reservations. At the entrance of the street where the hotel is located there is a sign that entry is prohibited and this is misleading for drivers. Actually hotel guests can enter with their cars just to drop their baggage off.

My stay at Plaza Hotel was truly enjoyable! Situated right in the vibrant Ladadika district, it’s the perfect spot for exploring Thessaloniki. The hotel’s stylish decor and comfortable rooms made it feel like a home away from home. The team went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless, from check-in to dining. Breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of delicious options to start the day. I’d highly recommend Plaza Hotel for anyone looking for a welcoming and convenient base to experience the best of the city.

The location of the hotel is perfect! So close to the city center and the bars & restaurants. If you have only one or two days, this is the perfect spot for exploring the city and seeing the most. Parking was also very good and close to the hotel. Staff is very professional, helpful, and pleasant!

The rooms are very warm and the AC doesn't work the best. Also, the rooms don't really look as advertised. They're older and less polished than the photos show, so I'd say that photos are a bit too generous

I was at he beginning wondering about the value for money and expected service when we entered the lobby. But then I felt privileged to be treated so nicely and politely with full professionalism by the staff, and then when we sat for breakfast with such an amazing variety of mostly homemade stuff, we were grateful for our choice.

The location in the middle of the "lively" Ladadika neighbourhood is fantastic but the hotel is surrounded by very very ugly buildings unfortunately. The lobby and other common areas where somewhat dull.

The staff at Plaza Hotel truly make the experience exceptional. From the moment we checked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a level of hospitality that felt both genuine and professional. Every staff member we encountered, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, was incredibly friendly and eager to assist with any requests. They were more than happy to provide local tips and recommendations, which made our stay even more enjoyable. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast at Plaza Hotel. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful spread that catered to all tastes. The variety was impressive, with fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, and traditional Greek dishes, all beautifully presented. Special mention must go to the handmade pies and sweets that added a lovely local touch to our mornings. It was evident that a lot of thought and care went into preparing the breakfast, ensuring a great start to each day. The rooms themselves were clean, comfortable, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. Despite being centrally located, the hotel room was quiet, allowing for a restful night’s sleep. Overall, our stay at Plaza Hotel was superb. The prime location, exceptional staff, and delicious breakfast made it a memorable experience!

The location was perfect for us as we love the Ladadika. Buffet breakfast was nice with plenty of tasty options. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We booked a room with the parking option and would definitely recommend this if you have a car

Lighting was a bit dim and shower leaked. the room was fairly soundproof but could still be a bit noisy at night, to be expected given the location
