Gorgeous place. Got a room with a view of the harbor and mountains. It was spectacular. The bathrooms are huge, though my room only had one sink which was a bit odd. Stand up shower was nice, but small. The king bed was super comfortable. AC worked great and kept the room really cool. Windows had black out curtains and shears that operated by wall control. All lighting was also controlled by the in-room tablet or wall controls. Daily room service. Excellent lobby vibe with live music. Pool and hot tub with views of the mountains and sunsets. Very quiet in-room. Check-in staff was very helpful.

A few picky things. Bathroom only had one sink. No bidet on toilets which at this price point there should be. Carpet was a bit worn and had bumps feeling a bit cheap. Lighting could not be dimmed, only on/off which ruins some of the ambience. While there is a fridge, it's filled with drinks, so no place for your own items.

The bed was very comfy. The room was very comfy with a great large window. We like the teas in the room (green tea and herbal tea). The room was very clean, with comfy robe. The shower was relaxing. Free Wifi. We like that the hotel is located right across the Vancouver Convention Center, so it is convenient for our meetings. We also had diner in the Botanist restaurant in the hotel: our food was yummy and pretty (burrata beet salad, steak mushroom and potato puree, miso sesame chocolate mousse), but pricey.

The harbor view was a bit blocked by the Vancouver Convention Center building in front. However, we like the large window in the king room, and we like the nice little view on the Canada Place street.

The room was so stunning and spacious. The amenities in the washroom were so good, housekeeping services were top notch and service from staff and bellman were amazing!! I had an incredible 1 night stay here.

I wish the pillows had been a bit firmer, they were super soft. I don't like the complimentary North Water brand in the aluminum cans. I think the bottles should be glass or another material, you can taste the aluminum when you are drinking out of the cans.

This is a great hotel, very well located. Very nice rooms, very nice lobby, great sushi chef in the lobby. Personnel is awesome. Rooms are cleaned soon after you asked through a simple switch next to the door, which is rare, and a testimony to their efficiency.

The music in the lobby is way too loud in the evening, which is too bad, because the lobby is nice with a great sushi bar, and I wish we could enjoy it for conversations.

I was attending a conference and the location of the hotel was excellent, next to the Vancouver Convention Centre. The harbour and mountain view room is simply spectacular, very spacious and amazing view. Loved the Le Labo toiletries as well. The Giovane cafe within the hotel premises is also a very convenient and comfortable spot for a quick breakfast.

I wish there was an option to request for a change of bedsheets (usually some hotels provide a card) as I felt that the bedsheets were not changed for the 5 nights I was there.

The door staff are exceptional. From the valet parking to the prompt and considerate luggage service, just all round great humans! Best staff I have had the pleasure of getting to know at a hotel.

The sauna being included in room price and being available all seasons would be a great addition. Gym equipment is a bit lacking too.

Great location near the cruise terminal. You could spend hours looking at the busy harbour (cruise ships, ferries, sea planes, ships, helicopters, pleasure crafts…). The Gold lounge is really worth it. The lobby lounge in the ground floor with bar and restaurant is always busy and buzzing.

Staff is hit and miss. Some are very efficient, others less so.

-- All staff was fantastic to help make the stay absolutely comfortable -- The Botanist (restaurant inside the hotel) was fantastic! We went there 2 days in a row -- The bed was super comfortable and to regulate the AC was easy

-- Too bad that there is only one super small window that can be opened for fresh air -- Due to high tech buttons for light, curtains etc, too many small lights influenced the sleep environment -- The desk chair was squeaking which may have been an isolated issue

We were practically allocated a double room for occupancy with two children. The furnishings were designed for 2 people. There was one coat hook in the bathroom and generally too little storage space for clothes and for four people. For the price, especially as the parents were travelling on business, we would have liked a little more space and separate beds for our teenage children. The service throughout the hotel was unbeatable and wonderful.

This was fantastic and the first Fairmont hotel we had stayed at! The service, decor, room, facilities and amenities were impeccable, couldn’t have asked for more. Everything was personalised and the in room dining was one of the best I’ve experienced! Fully worth the price and the bed/pillows were super comfy. Location was excellent, super central. Tea/coffee making facilities in the room were excellent. Would visit again as this is one of my favourites!
