We were greeted by a lovely staff member who was friendly and smiley ☺️ ( thank you) they had upgraded our room so we had more space as I was visiting with my 14 month old baby and had requested a travel cot. We were upgraded to one of the lovely suites in the main hotel. The room was lovely, the cot had a mattress which I was shocked about as some hotels dont provide mattress for the cots which make them very uncomfortable. The bed was lovely and comfortable and a brilliant size, and the two large tvs in the suite were fitted with SKY which was great to wind down after a full day out. Breakfast was lovely, and it was incredibly close to the train station and the central beach! A huge plus as I was travelling solo by train with baby so having everything so close was brilliant for me! We will absolutely stay again!!x Huge thank you again for upgrading us to the suite. I wouldn't say this is something I didn't "like" more - so an observation. My little ones sleepsuit was filthy after crawling on the wooden floors in the suite, as were my socks. So I would just presume that although it looked very clean everywhere else, the floor may have needed a bit of a mop. However, not a complaint in any way and didn't affect our stay at all. Just a small observation x

Everything was absolutely perfect. We were greeted at reception by a lovely, polite, and friendly young man. He offered to show us to our room, but we declined and made our own way there. We were actually in the Dolphin Rooms, which are very well appointed and just across the road, behind the main hotel. The room was very large and smelled lovely and it was so clean. The bed was huge and incredibly comfortable. My wife and I slept straight through the night, a solid eight hours of blissful sleep. The bathroom was lovely, the shower was powerful and hot. The towels are soft and fluffy, and they smell great. A Full English breakfast is included in the room rate, and it was tasty, hot, and just enough to start the day. Overall, it is a great place to stay, no more than a five-minute walk from the train station. If arriving by car, there is an adjacent private car park for use by residents. My wife and I agree, it's a 10/10 from both of us. The room, the food and the staff, no down marking possible. In concluding we would like to say many thanks to the staff, very friendly and helpful at all times. They are a credit to the hotel and the owners.

There is nothing to dislike, in our opinion, it's perfect.

the place was very clean, we paid for breakfast and it was very nice, the rooms were clean with a nice hot shower, and the staff were very friendly, would book again, the parking was good as well, they let us leave the car on their drive the last day so we could stay a little longer.

The room we had was a little bit small, but we had booked a different room but as we arrived early it was not ready, so they offered us the one in the hotel, and we excepted it so slightly our fault, we could have waited, if we wanted to.

We didnt get a chance to try the breakfast this time. The sky tv was a nice surprise. Location was good as a short walk from the seafront and we had our room outside on dolphin street so it didnt feel like being in a hotel.

Unfortunetly we found the bed was smaller than we hoped which made sleeping slightly uncomfortable. Our room had a hole in the far wall and lots of marks , it didnt affect our stay but a decoration would make it more presentable. Also up on arrival we opened the door and the room smelt of smoke, we had to open the window most of the day to let it air. We liked the seating area outside our room but there were alot of cigerette butts on the floor.

This place is truly a hidden gem at first we thought the location looked tired looking and rough round the edges however the hotel/restaurant is lovely inside and the dolphin rooms are also lovely, we came for our 1st year anniversary because we love the beach, I asked for some Prosecco which was already in the room and the staff added extra little touch with petals on the bed. Breakfast was nice too.

Parking is a little issue however we parked in the car park up the road as we didn’t want to block anyone in at the hotels small car park. We paid £5.20 for 24 hours.

All staff friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was beautiful. Hotel decorated beautifully throughout. Had tea/coffee and kettle, also iron and ironing board so that was good.

Booked dolphin room but stayed in room 104 in dovedale hotel. Room lovely but very small for a double room. Not much room for clothes if staying for more than 1 or 2 nights. Mattress very firm so was too hard for me and my hubby, but everybody as different preferences for a comfy mattress

We loved everything about the hotel especially Lindsey who served us breakfast every morning. She was very friendly and warm. The food was delicious.

The toilet extractor was noisy when the light was switched on.

The rooms are very modern, decorated to a good standard. Bed very comfortable. Nice big TV on wall, tea making facilties. Bathroom also very nice, large quadrant shower. The breakfast menu was very good, plenty of choice and staff were very pleasant and attentive.

I didn't find any issues and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location not far from all amenities in Cleethorpes. Everything on the door step practically. Lovely modern room & lovely very modern bathroom & great power shower. Plenty of room good sized room. Places to sit outside the hotel the sun.

More than adequate. Well cooked hearty breakfast and excellent service.

Lack of readily accessible car parking could be a problem if you are unlucky enough to not be able to find a space on the street. Wasn't sure whether we were able to use the nearby municipal. Clarification on this when booking might help and if not already a deal could one not be negotiated. A pity all that empty space being wasted.
