From the moment we arrived we felt right at home. Parking right in front of the apartment, all sparkling clean and so well equipped ... everywhere ample storage space, good bedside tables on both sides of the bed, as well as easy to reach plugs, spacious bathroom with separate WC, good shower, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, quiet room with view to the pool and beautiful garden. You could feel and see that the motel was planned by travelers for travelers! We hope to stay again in the future, and for more than 2 nights. We would have loved to spend more time at the motel and in the peaceful garden and pool. Next time :) Loved it!

Nothing to note, all was perfect!

Fabulous small property with a homely feel. The hosts went out of their way to make sure everything met expectations. They were super friendly and provided plenty of tips on local spots to visit. The room was clean, bed comfy, and the kitchen had everything required to cook an evening meal. The pool looked inviting but being autumn a bit cool for a swim. Landry facility on site with a washer and dryer was an added bonus.

Location, about 2.5km from town so if you needed supplies only option is to drive to the shops. Really no big deal though.

The rooms were lively and cozily comfortable, the pool was fantastic and we used it everyday but was great that it was surrounded by greens and flowers so was inviting and relaxing to lounge around, loved the setting that it’s close enough to the city centre that we could walk a few times or park halfway and walk when we had full day tours. Owners/Managers were friendly and helpful, easy to deal with.

It was lovely to have laundry facilities onsite but would have a tad more convenient if each cottage had their own ironing boards and iron. However, all cottages were close enough to the laundry room to borrow or do ironing there so it wasn’t a major issue.

Location was perfect. Really close to paihia which meant we could explore around paihia on our quick trip. Also was close to Keri Keri aswell. Beautiful spot , nice and peaceful. The accommodation we stayed in was nice and private very clean and tidy and made us feel like we were at home. The hosts were a beautiful and down to earth couple who also made us feel very welcomed to there accomodation. Most definitely would recommend and will be back in the future !!!

This motel is a special find - huge rooms, so clean, well appointed and comfortable. It has a complete kitchen, wonderful shower and comfortable beds. The best part is stepping out from your door to your own patio and right to the pool. This pool is not in a parking lot or by a street but surrounded by a beautiful garden and lawn. We enjoyed morning coffee poolside as well as Happy Hour. All units open to the pool. The couple running the motel is delightful, extremely helpful in planning activities, learning about the gardens, and making our stay exceptional.

You do have to drive here from town - not really walking distance, but the grocery is an easy drive. It is very conveniently located between Waitangi and Paihia, and a hop, skip and jump to the boardwalk trail to the waterfalls. There is no AC - only a fan which was fine for us in January as the windows afforded a good breeze, and there is always the pool for cooling off.

This is brilliant … and we highly recommend. This is really well managed accommodation … immaculate inside and out. The unit is bright and sunny and has everything you need to make your stay really comfy: all details thought of. This makes a big difference to a stay. Stunning garden, grounds and pool and stacks of outdoor seating choices on our patio and in the garden, plus great, well kept, BBQ area, all of which we enjoyed. Really personable owner manager, Grange, and his partner Bronny, who gave us really good local tips and made us feel very welcome. We could have happily stayed a month instead of three nites !

Amazing motel 5 minutes from the town centre immersed in a charming garden . Spacious appartments with absolutely everything we needed . Room n5 was right opposite the pool which was great for our 9 year old, plus a good outdoor area with plenty of sun loungers and seating around the pool. Really comfortable beds, wonderful hot showers and plenty to see and do in the area .

Upon arrival on meeting the host very welcoming couple very helpful and educated about the area gave brilliant advice on activities to do and sites to see. The room was warm cozy and inviting#Spent most of our time in the pool. Thank you Bronwynn & Grange for hosting us.

The room was very clean and well equipped and the bed was comfortable, and it was quiet too. The bathroom was clean and the toiletries supplied for use were very nice. It was very handy having a guest laundry available. The swimming pool was a good size.

The location wasn’t ideal. The driveway was a sharp right turn at the top of a busy road, so getting in and out could be tricky. Not walking distance to eateries etc. That was really the only downside.

Quiet cabin with everything we needed .. our hosts were so very kind and considerate. We had full use of two BBQs with all the utensils that made dinner choices easy. We also really appreciated the laundry.
