Property was beautiful, really clean, close to everything we needed. Was lovely to have some basic items in cupboard and fridge was very helpful. One of the only properties on our whole trip that had laundry facilities and iron and ironing board in room. Would def stay there again and will recommend to friends

Didn’t like that when we arrived we had stairs to get up with big heavy suitcases. When I read up on property it said it had a lift and I didn’t realise there was several properties. I have a bad back and knees and we struggled to get our bags up and down

Surprised that we did not know that it was access was only by a small tight staircase. Did not hamper us but would be inaccessible to certain people. As the shower water had an egg odor.

This was our second stay in Reykjavik Residence. We stayed in the Artisan house. Its so central for everything and easy to walk to bus stops for excursions.we love having the little kitchen, so that you can make tea/ coffee or have the option of a breakfast basket and fresh bread being delivered . There are so many good restaurants within walking distance also. The room itself was always warm and cosy, really comfy bedding and pillows and room service was excellent. We had a never ending supply of tea, coffee pods, milk and juice. There's also a generous supply of L'Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. We stayed for 10 days and there honestly wasn't one thing we could fault. This is one of our favourite hotels and will be back for sure. We have to mention the house keeping ladies especially, our room was spotless and they even noticed which were our favourite coffee pod and gave us extra !

The apartment was modern and really well designed, exceptionally warm, and perfectly located in the heart of the city. There was milk, orange juice, and cereal in the kitchen for us when we arrived and the property left free drink vouchers for guests who made environmental cleaning choices. We could also see the harbour/mountains from the windows in every room and there was a nice display of information in the building about how it had been used in the past (as a printing press etc). Would stay here again for sure.

There's no parking, but parking is rare in Reykjavik, so this wasn't a major issue.

The Reykjavik Residence Hotel was exceptional and I can’t rate it any higher. We had our room upgraded and we stayed in one of the two bedroom apartments. The property was phenomenal, all amenities, finishes and quality of the room was to the highest level. The breakfast box was to the highest quality and the room was cleaned every day. The beds and bedrooms were very comfortable and the bathroom and kitchen were clean and modern. You couldn’t ask for a more central location and amazing staff at reception who couldn’t do enough for you.

No complaints - exceptional property!

The place was impeccably clean! It was well stocked and had everything you could want for a trip to Iceland. Rooms were a little tight for luggage, so we left that in the living room. From dishes to washing machine soap, the place was great.

The host would put bread in the home every morning. In order to do that they came into the home. It was a little creepy to be up to use the restroom and have a stranger in the hallway. I would prefer to go without the bread and not be scared in the morning. The road was not cleared of ice, so getting the luggage to there was tough, especially in the dark after traveling all day. The handclap was only water which is a bit strange.

We stayed at Reykjavik Residence Apartment Hotel for 4 nights and enjoyed the apartment and the city of Reykjavik very much. 1. Check in. We arrived at the Reykjavik airport in early morning (7 am), took Flybus to the Bus Terminal in the city and transfer to another bus to Bus Stop #6, and 5 minutes walk to the Apartment. The staff was very kind and told us that the apartment was ready. He handed to us the room keycards (no need to use the online checking-in app) so we got in our room around 9 am to have a good rest, after the overnight flight. 2. Location. Excellent location in the city center, everything is within walking distance: 1 minute to the main shopping street, 7 minutes to Hallgrimskirkja (the modern cathedral), 3 minutes to the "rainbow street", 5 minutes to Bus Stop #6 which is one of the pick-up locations for most tours, 10 minutes to the Concert Hall, and 5 minutes to Bonus (supermarket). 3. Facility. We stayed in an One-Bedroom-Apartment, very clean and spacious with the bedroom separated from the large living room. The kitchen has everything we need for preparing simple meals. The bathroom is also spacious and good shower pressure. We didn't order breakfast, but cereal, milk and juice are always available in the kitchen. 4. Staff. The staff members at the front desk were very friendly, kind, and professional. In addition to letting us check in early, they patiently answered all of our questions, provided us useful information about the city and ordered a taxi for us to the cruise terminal after checking out. The street in front of the Apartment is under construction. Of course, the Apartment has nothing to do it.

The location was perfect. 5 min. walking distance from the main church and attractions (10 minutes from Harpa Concert Center). The hotel staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating. Anne coordinated several ways of transportation to Hvammsvik baths (one hour from city) and ended up helping us arranging car rental. Her insights on logistics and prices were invaluable. On New Year's Eve, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of sparkling wine and chocolates in our room.

We really liked this apartment. It was very well located, close to lots of restaurants and a supermarket. An easy straight 15 minute walk to the harbour area (great for boat trips), all of the main attractions were nearby as was the main bus station (great for coach tours and airport transfers). The apartment was new, spacious, warm and we even managed to link our Amazon stick to the TV. Wi-fi great, shower amazing. Everything we wanted.

There wasn't anything that we didn't like.

We stayed in the Royal Suite in the Prime Ministers residence which is a one bedroom plus bar, kitchen, and living room area. Very spacious and comfortable. It felt like home. Clean. Unique in historic building. Location was amazingly close to downtown with a convenient parking structure across the street. Getting fresh bread each morning was a treat. Having a food basket with fruit, yogurt, eggs, sandwich ingredients was super amazing. Each day they brought different items. It was a great surprise at the end of each day. They also supplied milk, juice and other items. Amazing! We like to cook and their items plus ours made for great meals. There is even a wine frig that we appreciated. The dish and cooking essentials were pretty complete. The room had a large bathtub that was nice to relax in after a day of sightseeing.

The room was quiet. Occasional outside noise by city workers in the morning. Occasional noises from bars a block away. I don’t fault to properly at all.
