Did not have breakfast.

An odor in the room and lobby reminiscent of a low sewer leakage. I attribute it to an old building complex without much chance of improvement without major plumbing work. Lines for parking spaces should be marked appropriately if visitors are expected to park in such narrow spaces.

Easy and convenient location. Spacious and quiet suite, and nicely appointed with above average daily necessities. Also had areas for our pets to “do their business”.

The main negative was that vehicles regularly exceeded the posted speed limit right at the property’s street driveway, which not only made pulling into the lot and parking a challenge, but created quite a bit of frequent vehicle noise. Aside from this, the only other minor nuisance was a non-working refrigerator ice-maker, necessitating the need for us to walk up multiple steps to front office each time ice was needed.

I love the king bedroom suite with the kitchen. This is the second year in a row that I have stayed in this suite. It is comfortable and extremely large with enough closet space for all your belongings. It is just a short drive down the hill to the town of Carmel. It is big enough for the two dogs also. I have no complaints and hope if I get the chance to go to Carmel again, I will be fortunate enough to rent this suite out. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

It is a tight place to park your car next to a busy road to get your dogs in and out of the car but that cannot be helped.

Cleanly maintained, nicely appointed rooms (queen had both the microwave AND mini fridge that we needed), and short distance to-and-from parking space allowed convenient loading of belongings to room upon arrival.

No self-use ice machine - you must visit desk personnel for them to break up ice for your room-supplied ice container. The bigger concern is pulling in & out of their parking lots located directly in front of the grounds and directly on Carpenter St. At times, there could be a steady flow of continuous traffic, and even when there are just a handful of occasional vehicles, at least half of them far exceed the clearly posted 25mph residential speed limit. You just must LOOK BOTH WAYS while slowly inching forward, and when clear - exit the lot quickly and get up to speed.

Even before we arrived, the staff was willing and able to accommodate an early check in so we could settle in before our event. Cyndy was so friendly checking us in and showing us to our room. She had even started the heater so it'd be warm for us when we got there. Very nice, spacious, and comfortable room. Large bathroom was awesome with nice toiletries available. Plenty of towels. Pillows were incredibly comfortable!!

My only "gripe" is that quite a bit of light came through at night, and my partner and I are both sensitive to light for sleeping. It wasn't horrible, though, but I do wish I would've brought an eye mask.

Beautiful grounds, great location.

Parking lot was hard to turn around to get out. No EV plugs.

The manager, Cindy, was just terrific. Treated me like an old friend and was very accommodating and kind to our dog. I really felt at home with her. The grounds are beautiful!!

The staff member who checked us in was not very welcoming, but once I met the manager, it all changed. It is more of a distance from Carmel town center than I realized, but I would still love to stay here again.

It's a good location, its cute, pillows are so comfy and bottled water available. It's modernized, pets allowed.

One of the receptionist was rude and lacks customer service. I called to ask a question and I didnt even wanna check in later because I was concerned I'd have to deal with her again. There was no one available to check me out and give me my receipt. There's no food like for dinner or snacks.

The hotel is really nice, the rooms are spacious, with ecological cosmetics. Bed was comfortable, nothing to complain about in the regard of room.

The hotel is located in the middle of nowhere, you have to have a car to get anywhere near the center. The price off the season was really expensive, considering location it was too much. Also both the receptionist and the owner were really rude to us. Nobody said we have to have the same credit card with us which we used to pay for the hotel. I am European and in our part of the world it doesn’t work like this. I actually cancelled my card before as it was another currency and put the same account on one card to make it easier. And the owner couldn’t understand how it is possible that the bank actually destroyed my previous card. So something unacceptable for me to be rude to a guest just because of that and making issues with accommodating this person.

The front desk person was very helpful in explaining about the inn, and the WiFi, and showed us to the room. It was well worth the cost compared to rooms in the downtown area. Parking was convenient.

I wished the room was a bit larger as there wasn't much space to walk between the bed and the long counter. But overall, the room was very clean, and quiet, and the bed was comfortable.
