The most incredible, most breathtaking hotel we have ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, we were met with warmth and kindness—every single staff member was genuinely lovely, making us feel so valued and cared for. The hotel truly embodies the essence of hospitality at its finest. You’re not just a guest here; you’re embraced and looked after with such generosity that every interaction feels wrapped in genuine warmth. The hotel itself is a masterpiece—absolutely gorgeous in every way. The architecture is grand and palatial, the interiors are refined and elegant, and the attention to detail is simply impeccable. The fresh flower arrangements in the lobby were absolutely stunning and filled the space with beauty and warmth, brightening our days from the moment we stepped inside. Our room was spacious, beautifully furnished, and completely silent—we didn’t hear a single sound from outside. The bed was large, exceptionally comfortable, and made for the best sleep we’ve ever had in a hotel. Everything about the room was designed for relaxation, with warm, dimmable lighting that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Dining was another level. The restaurant and bar were fantastic, and the room service breakfast was delicious, generous, and reasonably priced. Even the smallest details elevated the experience—plush, luxurious robes (I still miss them), ultra-soft towels, and an aircon that was whisper-quiet yet kept us perfectly warm during one of the coldest times of the year in Toronto. A truly unforgettable moment was when the staff, despite their busy schedules, took the time to personally show us around the hotel’s event venues. The beauty of these spaces left us completely mesmerized—every detail, every design element was pure artistry. Hands down, the most extraordinary hospitality experience we’ve ever had. Every single second in this hotel felt special. The best days of our lives. Worth every single penny—and honestly, ten times more.
Everything was simply perfect.

The staff is amazing, everyone is so nice and helpful, from the front desk to the breakfast restaurant waiters (especially these guys!). The scale of the hotel is impressive. The lobby is massive and useful as a semi-private space to work out of for the day. Our room was huge, too. It's a small thing, but we loved their elevators. They have 6, and they travel extremely quickly, so even though the hotel is huge, you never have to wait more than a few seconds to get an elevator.
The bed is soft for our taste. We felt a bit sore after a few nights.

Our stay was perfect. My wife and I stay at the King Eddy every time we come into the city. Staff, facility and location are perfect. Today was very hot in Toronto on checkout my wife asked the consierge how warm it was??he replied ,very, would you like water for your drive. So simple but that act ensures that we will be coming back always!! Cheers Geoffrey Gamble
We had a lovely room that faced East. After sunrise I noticed I hadnt secured the black out curtains. I eventually used a makeshift clip to hold the blinds together. Perhaps you could install some kind of clip to properly draw the blinds. It was a perfect stay.

We loved the ambiance, decor, history and most importantly the hospitality! From the moment we arrived, everyone was friendly and helpful and treated us so well! We received a complimentary upgrade to our room! We stayed in the King Premier, it was very nice, clean and spacious! We also received a delicious treat for our Anniversary upon arrival! The bed and sheets were so comfy and I appreciate the cleanliness. The housekeeping staff truly worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. We truly appreciate that. We enjoyed the Consort bar, where they also acknowledged our Anniversary ...which was so special, the Victoria cafe and especially the high tea! Every bite was delicious and delightful! Thank you to Dan, Day, David, Madelyn, Valentina the chefs that spoke with us personally and everyone who made our stay so nice! We did not get to enjoy the spa, which next time we will... We definitely recommend staying here and we will be returning in the future! ❤️
I did not like that we came to the end of our stay! Everything was wonderful! I do wish there was a pool and hot tub area...but other than that, no complaints.

This beautiful hotel is so well located within walking distance of all Toronto’s top spots and eateries. The room was spacious, gorgeous, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and friendly as were all the staff we met during our 4 night stay. We had a slight issue with our room on arrival, but I’m pleased to say it was dealt with swiftly and to our satisfaction. I would love to return one day and I highly recommend this beautiful historic hotel.
There is nothing to dislike.

I loved the separate wardrobes, which had full-length mirrors and lights when opened. The room had lots of storage, many plugs and anything we felt we required the concierge was happy to provide. I had a moody teenager who sometimes wanted their own time alone. The door stopper helped us feel comfortable allowing her to be alone. It added a level of safety. Both of the queen beds were large and there was still additional space in the room.
Only the clarity about payment on arrival. This was our first time in Canada so we didn't understand how our payment would be taken during our stay and didn't understand the first 7-day set-up as well as additional payments along the way. However, this was handled very well by the lady on reception who was polite and helpful in explaining this to us and resolving the matter.

Location is important an King Edward is located perfectly. Then the hotel room providing the best sleeping qualitiy I experienced at a hotel for years. The beds are excellent. Staff very friendly and service minded in the reception as well as the cleaning team. This hotel works !
If there is anything to complain about it could be the AC being a bit disturbing, but on the other hand during summer days maybe its to be expected. Did not cause any problems.

We liked the room very much. It was very comfortable, with well-appointed furniture in both the sleeping and living room areas. Great closet space/closet lighting. Bathroom fixturesshower area were up to date and all worked well. Bin for waste and recycling. Great window coverings kept the room dark in the morning. Televisions worked well. No problems with elevators. Enjoyed breakfast twice at the Victoria Cafe. Excellent Swedish pancakes!
We had a parking issue. Parked ourselves in the neighboring lot and brought our bags in from there. Talked to reception about whether to shift to hotel parking arrangement, but as we weren't moving the car during our weekend stay she advised we just leave it as is. Unfortunately, we misplaced the ticket for the garage the day we checked out. We asked at the desk and were told we could pay the higher $35/day fee through the hotel and the desk would notify the parking garage to wave us through. This was substantially higher. We wondered afterwards if we should have just gone to the garage directly to resolve the matter. Oh well....

We have stayed at the King Eddy before, and this time was the status quo. Always great! Over the 2 nights we spent time in the lobby bar/restaurant. Our server Kenny was amazing. Going above and beyond what was required, he made us feel like friends and family. Overall a great experience, we will be back the next time we are in Toronto. Thank you.
Always a great stay; the only mentionable is that it would be nice if it was less expensive. Fully understand why it isn't, however it would be nice if it was.

It was extremely clean, staff was amazing, they upgraded our room as well. Definitely bougie feeling. Had a bit of a spooky vibe in the room, but in a fun not scary way, my wife felt something touch her the first night and we herd conversation as if the tv was on but no one else around (we checked the hall and stood outside the room to make sure), our room was quiet chilly as well even with the heat on but we like it cooler then normal so it didn’t bother us. We also had the elevator open for us before pressing the button several times. We were in room 1205.
Shower pressure was alright definitely could have been better but expected for a large hotel I guess.
