My partner and I stayed at Mango House Resort for a couple of nights and we really enjoyed it. Pam, the lovely lady who owns it, is an absolute gem. The place is simple and that is what makes it special. It feels like home, surrounded by a lot of gorgeous green and birds, with the extra of having a pool to relax in after the activities. The bus shuttle from the airport takes you (and picks you up) directly in front of Mango house resort, which is amazing, and to get to the main city it's a 10/15 minutes walk, otherwise there is the bus stop very close by.

There is nothing I didn't like tbh, it was lovely overall.

I had a wonderful stay at Mango House Hotel, and I can't recommend it highly enough! The hotel is set in a peaceful location, offering a perfect mix of comfort and charm. What really made this place stand out was the amazing owner, Pam. From the moment I arrived, she made me feel incredibly welcome, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Her warmth and attention to detail were exceptional, and she personally made sure everything was just right during my time there. The rooms were cozy and well-maintained, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was both relaxing and inviting. If you're looking for a place with excellent service and a personal touch, Mango House Hotel is definitely the place to stay. Thank you, Pam, for making my visit so memorable!

I had a wonderful time at Mango House Resort! Pros: - The owner (Pam) is very kind: She allowed me to check in earlier, upgraded my room and dropped me off to the bus at the end. Her attentiveness is really the reason for 9 stars. - There were little touches around the apartment showing thoughtfulness and care: providing little soup/shampoo/dishwasher liquid (very useful!)/basic kitchen utensils... Mosquito nets in all windows were in excellent condition. - I loved the fact that when the window shutters are closed at night, it's completely dark inside! Equally you can open some shutters to let the air flowing and listen to the sounds of nature outside. - Nice gardens and pool Other info: - There's a bus stop outside (bus 860) which takes 8min to Airlie beach, which comes every 30min. You can get single,daily or 10 trips tickets. - There's a street nearby so from time to time you can hear the cars from the apartment. - If you don't drive, I'd recommend prebooking airport transfer ahead ($25 for mini bus) or taking public transport. I was unaware of both and took a taxi which cost me $105 (!). - There's a grocery store nearby (and also ATM and cafe)

My daughter and I were greeted warmly upon arrival and moved to a lovely room close to another family we were reuniting with which was very thoughtful, especially with young children. The pool was incredible and overall private, tropical oasis feel of the grounds and central garden area was such a nice surprise. Great location just out of the busy township and neat a shop and tavern.

Nice pool facing apartment with a comfy bed and well stocked kitchen for cooking. Easy parking and quiet location with a pub and small grocery store nearby. It was very windy there a couple nights a tree kept banging the roof keeping us awake, the manager had the tree cut back the day we told her about it. Very caring and friendly manager.

Stayed there for 11 nights and had one apartment clean only. Would have been nice for the apartment to be cleaned more say every 3-4 days.

Great location. Jubilee Tavern is less than 2 min walk, you can see it as you walk. You also have IGA, Post Office & a café directly across from the Resort which is great. The room was great value for your money & very similar to a Queenslander house. The bed was super comfy & the pool is huge. I will be booking here again for January 2025

Pam was the perfect host and was so friendly and helpful. The room was open planned, well equipped and had a tropical feel with the pool nearby. The location is close to the local shop and hotel and a bus stop nearby to take you to Airlie Beach, the lagoon and marina.

A warm and friendly welcome started the stay off beautifully. Really comfortable, clean and spacious apartment with a balcony overlooking the pool. Can not recommend highly enough.

The owner Pam was so friendly and welcoming. We arrived early and she was more than accommodating. The resort is kept exceptionally well with everything you need. The bus is located right outside for easy access into town. Would definetly return!!

The room was fairly small but well designed so that it did not feel claustrophobic. Air conditioning and a fan kept the heat and humidity bearable. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was clean but could perhaps do with updating the shower area. Overall, a pleasant stay for one night.

I cannot comment as I only stayed the one night and did not utilise the other attractions available at the resort.
