It was 1/2 a block to all of the trams that take you all over Zagreb. It's very close to the train station and bus station. The breakfast was amazing as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

At first I thought it was too far from restaurants, but if you ask the receptionist, there's a shortcut that takes you to the train station where you can buy food, etc. You can also have it delivered, I suppose. But the center of town is 10 min away on the many trams that are near the Hotel. It's a very safe area, though getting there by car may be a little off-putting. In addition, a restaurant/bar is opening up soon on the side of the Hotel so this will take care of this problem. All in all, I'm glad i stayed at this hotel. As a matter of fact, I stayed 2 extra nights because I loved it so much. Zagreb is amazing.

The Hotel Orient is fairly convenient to both the main bus station and the main train station. You can walk it if you don't have a lot of luggage. An Uber ride to the airport cost about 20 Euro. The continental breakfast is served at the MAM Restaurant, which is next door. Although the building is somewhat dated, the rooms have been modernized, The bathroom is particularly nice. The room still has an old-fashioned steam radiator, which turned out to be handy for drying rain dampened garments. The hotel was previously named "Hotel Orient Express," but the name was truncated due to a copyright/trademark dispute. The hotel signage needs to be updated.

There is occasional noise from the train station and Ulica Grada Vukovara.

I ended up staying here unexpectedly after my flight was delayed, and I couldn’t make it to my original accommodation. Despite only spending few hours to rest, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable and welcoming the experience was. The bed was comfy, which made all the difference after a long and exhausting day of travel (with delays). The staff was lovely and made me and my wife feel welcome, event at such late hour. They spoke fluent English, which made the process smooth and stress-free. Although my stay was brief, I left feeling well-rested and taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place, especially if you're in a need of a last-minute, comfortable stopover.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was basic but good quality. My room was comfortable, with air conditioning and a HD TV. The hotel is located 15 minutes walk away from the bus station. 20 minutes from center.

The route to the city center from hotel. Although the hotel is close to the center, it is located behind the main train station. The rail tracks block a direct route to the main square (Trg Ban Josip Jelacič). It is necessary to take a path around the train yard, which is difficult to navigate. This may only be a problem if it's your first time in Zagreb.

I needed to stay for one night close to bus station so it was perfect for me. The room was clean but very simple. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The entrance of the hotel does not look inviting, but room was clean and ok for uncomplicated no thrills stay. I saw some laundry and piles of towels just put in the seating areas for guests Guests do not need to see technical side of the business...

It's very quiet and it's easy to get where you wanna go. There's a ZET ticket office about 15 minutes of walking distance, and two Konzum markets, both are about 10-15 minutes walking distance away. It might be frightening at first if you come in at night but the neighborhood is not dangerous.

There were lots of small flies in the room. It would be useful to install bug screens to the windows. There were some stains on the covers, noticed it on the last day. I wasn't eating jam in the bed so it must be an old stain.

The staff was incredibly kind and gave me some really good advice on how to navigate the city. The room was essential but I found everything I needed for a couple of days.

Buying water at the reception is a bit expensive Moreover, you will need a 20/30 minutes walk to get to the city center. However, I don't think these are major problems.

I know that this is three star hotel but there is no mini bar or fridge. Haven’t seen that for a long time. Also, I have feet injury and I specifically asked for a place with elevator. However there are few stairs and the lady from the reception had to carry my bag. I think at least they should make a platform so the stuff doesn’t need to do that type of work.

The hotel was great, it was in a quiet area, we had a clean room, comfortable bed, a good-sized bathroom with a powerful shower, and the bus station is around a 10-15 minute walk, where you can get a bus to many destinations, including Plitvice Lakes (2 hrs 30 bus journey). A short tram ride, or around a 25 minute walk will get you to many cafes, restaurants and shops. Staff at reception were helpful and friendly.

There are no tea or coffee making facilities in the room, however, there is a small petrol station just outside the hotel that had a tea/coffee machine for a takeaway hot drink, and also had a good selection of cold drinks and snacks too.

The bed was super comfortable, the room was very clean. The room does not have minifridge and electric kettle (my fault for missing them as I did not check before booking) - however, the receptionist was very kind and flexible and gave me an electric kettle, so I could prepare tea in the mornings.

The neighborhoud is very noisy, if the window is open.
