We had a great stay and were very warm welcomed by Helen and her husband. We arrived very late from Lisbon so did the check-in the next morning. The location is great, really quiet area although close to a street and not far from any beach or restaurants. The pool and outside are inviting and perfect for a break after outside activities. Having a car is required in my opinion. Breakfast was very complete and upon request they freshly prepare (scrambled or fried) eggs. There is a fridge in the kitchen and each room has a shelf. Due to the limited number of rooms it really feels like a guest house rather than a hotel, which we preferred. Helen is always available either in person or via the phone for questions and recommendations. All in all we had a great stay for 5 nights - thank you Helen!

It is a guest house, hence the sound isolation is not like in big hotels. You might hear people in the hallway but everyone is very respectful and quiet. There was no TV in our room - perfect for us to disconnect but some people might expect one.

Stayed here with my sister for 3 nights. The name doesn't lie: it is truly a oasis. We loved the swimming pool and the garden, the bedroom was super cozy and the breakfast amazing. When booking I warned I was lactose-intolerant and they provided plant/lactose-free alternatives for milk, yogurt and butter, very thoughtful. You get all-day access to tea, water, and coffee (and some shortbread my sister was obessed with) and you get some fridge space, so it's great if you want to have a snack or a quick meal at the guesthouse instead of going out. An honesty bar is also an option for a drink or some snacks. Helen and Paul, the hosts, are super nice and thoughtful. It's located to be near the main attractions and villages of the area, everything was like a 10-minute drive.

As an Italian I was missing a bidet, especially considering that due to old plumbing there's no throwing toilet paper in the wc. But it's really a minor nitpick and if I understood correctly some renovations to the plumbing is coming in the following months.

Immensely enjoyed my stay at Casa Jardim! I only wished I could have stayed longer! Helen was a wonderful, caring and helpful host who communicated efficiently with me both before and during my stay. My room with pool view was absolutely perfect. Helen has not left a stone unturned preparing a peaceful, clean, comfortable, well-equipped and beautiful oasis for her guests. The breakfast was fantastic! plentiful and fresh! I enjoyed my meals on the spacious terrace. Lovely pool for cooling off after a long day of hiking. Helen and her husband were kind enough to pick me up at the bus station and drop me off at the train station on my departure. I would solidly recommend a stay here at Casa Jardim Oasis! 3 weeks in Portugal and this was my absolute favourite!

Just something to be aware of, which I was before booking. The accommodation is about 8km north of the beach areas. I used an Uber and paid approximately 16 euro return, per day.

Casa Jardim Osais really is a little Oasis of calm. The room was spotless, the garden fantastic and the pool perfect for a refreshing dip. There were hammocks, deck chairs, sun loungers, a little badminton court. Really everything you could wish for. The breakfast was really good with a good variety and Helen even had gluten free bread. Unfortunately we only had time for 2 nights. Helen and her husband were super helpful with recommendations of where to go. We will be back! .

The property is very well located as you can drive to carvoeiro, Portimão, Lagoa, benagil in just 8-20 minutes depending on which direction. Also it is very very peaceful and the garden is a gem. Breakfast was so lovely and the owner, Helen was very helpful. Everything you might need you’ll find! Even a fridge in the common room to keep your drinks cool and a fridge with drinks for the guests. The pool was spectacular and there’s all kind of seat for you to relax: pillows, hammock, beds, bench,… make sure you have time to enjoy this peaceful paradise while you are in beautiful algarve.

There’s nothing I can really say, everything was great

Very clean and relaxed, felt like home. Liked the coffee corner and breakfast. Helen and Paul made sure we got everything and they were very attentive the whole time. Their suggestions to the sites were also very helpful. 5 euro Laundry was good value. Would definitely come back . The location is quiet and convenient with a car. Wouldn’t recommend if you take public transportations.

The shower room it’s a bit small.

Owners Paul and Helen were very friendly and helpful, catering to any question or need. They gave everyone enough space and privacy but we’re happy to indulge any questions and give advice and directions about nearby beaches and attractions. The hotel is centrally located in the Algarve so it was very easy to travel to Faro or as far west as Sagres. Stores and beaches are very nearby, within 5-10 minutes drive. The breakfast was excellent. The bed was the most comfortable we slept in our entire Portugal trip -truly excellent! The room, pool and common areas are very clean and well kept. It was obvious the owners really care about their guests. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

The neighbors’ dogs occasionally barking on either side of property bothered me but not my wife. The property is a bit rural so otherwise it was extremely quiet and peaceful. No traffic noise was very nice!

A really great one-night stay (to see the Volta Algarve cycle race in Lagoa) Helen's communication was excellent, the place was easy to find and perfectly located for the race in the town. The decor was lovely, the bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Being able to make a cup of tea whenever I liked was also fantastic. The breakfast was lovely and Helen was really nice to chat to, as were the other guests who were also there to see the race. Helen also arranged for a local taxi to pick me up and take me back to the train station in the afternoon. I would definitely recommend this place and I hope to come back.

Helen and Paul are perfect hosts. The breakfast was very rich wirh fresh fruit, juice, eggs as well as with coffee and tea at any time in the hotel. A trusted bar provides drinks, a fridge allows all guests to accomodate food and drinks. We received valuable hints for our stay in the area. The room service is perfect, the hotel very clean and tidy. All in all a perfect place for everybody who prefers quietness, great service and hospitallity. Someone looking for nightlife should go somewhere else, we were really happy that we found a plce that suits us well.

The roadway to the parking lot is pretty bumpy, the entrance from the main road pretty small. Drinking and driving is never a good idea, especially not the final 100 meter to the place. :-)

We enjoyed this property very much. The owners were very friendly and accommodating - even had some GF options for breakfast! Lovely pool area and gardens and a lovely terrace area to relax on. Location was good for our purposes - to get around to different areas of the Algarve!
