All of the staff were exceptional. The food was excellent as well at the restaurant and the pool bar. The room was very clean and stocked with most of the things we needed. The staff were quick to restock when we needed it.

I wish there was access to more clean water on our floor for coffee. We were given two water bottles. Also, I did not know that there was an area for breakfast until I was leaving. I could not see it coming around the corner from the elevator. It would have been nice to be given a run down of where things are at check-in.

Excellent corner room on the 18th floor. Beautiful views, comfortable bed. Very large room. We like to stay at this hotel when we go to a baseball game at Petco Park. Very convenient to just walk across the private walkway that leads directly to the ballpark.

Hotel dining options very limited. No available snacks for purchase. Once breakfast casual restaurant closed no sit down dining option other than the bar. Dried fruit instead of fresh fruit on French toast was definitely a negative.

The room we got was the King executive suite with the couch pullout. The wall separating rooms was perfect and muted enough sound that I could sleep and not hear my partner snore in the next room. The bed was so comfortable, the shower was nice, and the tub option was nice. The view from the 10th floor was great, I can only imagine higher up looked even better. We did 1 room service order which was pleasant. Valet was friendly and helpful. The air conditioning was great. We came from Arizona so the option to keep the room in the 60's was so lovely.

The tub did not stay hot. As someone who never gets access to a tub, I was highly disappointed for the price that it didn't stay warm. I'm not even talking lukewarm, it was cold. No amount of hot water was retaining heat and there wasn't a way to slowly trickle hot water. There were no options for more firm pillows. They are all so squishy and soft and that's fine for some, but I ended up using a pillow that was firmer from the chair to sleep.

Location to Petco and San Diego Downtown in general. Very walkable to lots of attractions. Loved the city views and I could see inside the ballpark from my room on the 21st floor. Staff was also very nice and helpful. My husband had flowers sent to the room and they were very discrete about the interaction. Super lovely all around.

The people in the room next to me argued for most of the night. The walls were thin so I could hear everything. I called down to the front desk and they came up to ask them to be quiet but it took a while. They did comp the resort fee when I mentioned it at check out so I was satisfied. Not the hotels fault but wish they had acted a little faster to resolve the night of

The access to Petco Park - we attended a concert - had us feeling like VIPs! The pool is very nice, with comfortable seating. We enjoyed the drinks and snacks from the poolside bar. The shower was not draining, so I phoned the front desk. After about an hour, the front desk phoned us to ask if maintenance had visited. I confirmed they had not. Within minutes, a maintenance man did arrive, he apologized for the delay, and went to work. He ended up having to snake the tub. Inconvenient, yes. But the follow-up from the front desk, the pleasant maintenance man, and the thorough solution were all very much appreciated!

The location can't be beat! Right in the middle of the Gaslamp Quarter which is such a fun area to walk, dine, drink and play! We chose the Omni for 2 reasons, to watch 4th of July fireworks from the roof-top pool and to use the sky bridge to walk to a baseball game at Petco stadium and both were PERFECT! Bonuses: proximity to the Naval Air Station and being able to watch the planes, being able to easily explore Coronado island, and the delicious on site food/drinks. Location is also ideal to many local attractions but we didn't visit any this time (but will be back!)

Nothing - we got a great deal on booking.com so the value was extra strong and exceeded all expectations!

Great breakfast! Amazing front desk staff at all times, both in person and when calling from my room. Everything was clean. FresCo staff at breakfast was super as was the healthy options for morning and lunch. Great cocktail menu. The bellhop with the funky glasses and long dark hair—-great hospitality.

I think the dinner menu could be improved to reflect choices in FresCo. Dinner at bar area was a lot of unhealthy, heavy food choices. Didn’t reflect the CA vibe like the cafe and pool menus. I also wish there was a good option between 2-4 as I was there got work and missed lunch a couple of days.

The room was excellent with great views. Noah checked us into the hotel. He was friendly, and professional, and ensured our questions were answered and needs met. We would come back just based on our contact with him. We received an upgrade and the corner room was awesome!

There was a long freight train which came by at around 2:00 am. It kept us up for about an hour because of the constant stopping and starting, causing large bangs between the coupled freight cars. Nothing the hotel could do about it. It was very loud but we would come back again.

Great room with a Keurig coffee maker! The view of the bay was wonderful and the location to Petco and the convention center was ideal. Location is my usual choice in picking hotels, the Onmi San Diego is great for foodies, walkers and exploders.

Valet parking fees are high and unadvertised! The homeless can be a problem in the area, however, the city has been doing a great job of controling the issue.
