Absolutely EVERYTHING! The Warwick Lodge is a gem! It's beautifully decorated and Caron is such a gracious hostess. I just loved ny room and just really the whole place. Caron serves breakfast in the morning and she just really waits on her guest like they are royalty. She wants your stay to be perfect. Mine was. I would stay here again and again. If you find your self traveling through this part of England treatself to a wonderful experience at the Warwick Lodge.

Caron was a wonderful host with many years of experience. Super friendly and informative. The bed was extremely comfortable with hand laundered linen. Great shower pressure and lovely hot water. Breakfast was superb. Wonderful local produce and everything was cooked to perfection and extremely hot. Everywhere had a different theme which added to the character and charm to the history of this lovely building

Very comfortable and cosy. Excellent value. I had the chance to sleep in the single and the double bedroom. Strangely enough, I preferred the single room, as I found id cozier(NB:they are equally comfortable)

There is a parking but it has limited space, and is located in the inner bend of a big road. The road is not overly busy, but this can still present a risk.

Warwick lodge is a delightful accommodation in a very convenient part of the city. It is very cosy and beautifully decorated. It’s easy to walk to sights and restaurants from there. It is also a convenient location for driving to and from Carlisle. The owner is a charming woman and she made us a lovely breakfast and was very accommodating. The breakfast room has a fire and is available during the day, which is a very cosy option.

The bed was a double so a bit tight. Tricky for tall people. I appreciate this was necessary for the room, however.

Beautiful house, gorgeous decor, very comfortable, relaxing room. Very clean. Breakfast was very good indeed, plenty of choice and well prepared. Karen, the owner, was lovely, very welcoming and pleasant.

Would have liked to have been able to book in a little earlier. Perhaps contact the owner to see if that would be possible next time.

This cosy lodge is well situated in short walking distance from central Carlisle, in close proximity to the bus station with links to the Lake District as well as to Hadrian‘s Wall Path nearby. We had a beautiful quiet and clean room with a comfortable bed. Breakfast was full English, but was tailored to our daily cravings. We really enjoyed our stay at the lodge thanks to our lovely host Caron.

We only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer. Our room was lovely, bed and pillows were so comfortable, the shower was nice and hot and very powerful. Everything was spotlessly clean. Caron our host was so lovely and friendly. The breakfast was delicious. We both had a full English which we enjoyed immensely. There was also toast, cereals, yoghurt, brioche buns, jams and fruit. The choice was fantastic. Would recommend 100%

Everything. The guest house was homely furnished...and was nicely decorated and room..bedding ..bed linen mattress all perfect...all tastefully decorated ...ensuite bathroom perfect and city view good too....breakfast included too..was handy as was working later in city centre..before travelling by train for more work..hostess friendly and thoughtful

Caron was a wonderful host. Couldn't do enough for us. So friendly and happy 😊. Amazingly beautiful property which is spotless. Also Becky (Caron's daughter) is lovely. Breakfast was excellent. Parking was easy and the whole location is fabulous. If you need to spend time in Carlisle, stay at Warwick Lodge!! PS The Beehive Pub (within walking distance) does really good food for your evening meal!!

The weather!

Classic decor combined with modern amenities made for a great overnight stop. The room was large with a very pleasant street view, yet quiet. The shower was strong with stable water temperature. Linens were pleasantly fragrant and the bed was comfortable, making for a very restful night of sleep. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Parking was free and right outside the front door. A 5-10 minute walk towards town center provided a number of restaurants with tastes for every palate (including ours). The lodge's proprietor is one of the nicest people we've encountered during our travels. All in all, a short but enjoyable stay at a strongly recommended property.
