Period house with exceptional views. The lady of the house was welcoming and said there was a walk from the house along the river, she kindly showed me 2 rooms as we had friends arriving later. We had the New room, with great views over the river. Very clean and tidy and the bed and bedding was very comfortable. Our Weimaraner could just look out of the windows and watch the world go by. The Halls dog is called boots (pointer) and is very friendly and shares beautifully. There is a tennis court to use which is a nice touch. We sat down to dinner and the Hall kindly accommodated us in a separate dinning room so that we could relax with our dog, they went above and beyond and again at breakfast. Thank you from the Comlay’s
Only comment is I thought there might have been fruit juice or fruit out on the self service area for breakfast.

We really enjoyed our stay at Warwick Hall. The place had an elegant charm. Sarah's room was very comfortable. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Gathering in the lounge for pre dinner drinks gave opportunity to meet and talk to the other guests. The set menu for evening meal gave a good choice . Food was FANTASTIC -fresh, local produce, home grown vegetables, well presented, beautifully cooked and tasted fantastic. Great value for money. Staff were smiling and welcoming. The walk by the river was pleasant. Scenery beautiful. This was an experience rather than an overnight stay. Good value for a luxury stay.
A little warm in the room- but that is personal preference.

Terrance was brilliant, i arrived slightly later then expected, but was greeted well and prompty show my room for the duration of the stay. Traditional English Manor turned into a B&B, Bed was comfortable, TV, ample lights. Hot chocolate, Coffee and Tea avaliable in the rooms. Towels, Robes and personal soap and shower cap provided. Breakfast was brilliant, again traditional english/upper class apperance. See photos below. Waiter was polite and attentive. Overall very warm welcome, i only stayed the one night, but when in the area again i'll be sure to book. I enjoyed reading the history and the various paintings around the old house, including an old Charter from the 1800s. Highly recommended.
Everything was good, can't fault anything.

Very convenient for the M6 which you leave before shortly entering another world. Charming hosts, tremendous welcome fascinating building. You could stay for weeks just perusing the bookshelves. We are shown to a huge bay windowed room that hints at a view once the morning light comes. I follow my hosts suggestion to light the open fire as there are plenty of logs. It has been a while since I’ve had a roaring log fire in my bedroom a deep bath before dinner we tear ourselves away from our gorgeous room for a sumptuous dinner and a bottle of wine, all excellent value. Despite the relaxed grandeur we are assured the house is dog friendly so we follow the example of our neighbours and cautiously allow our well behaved dogs to join us from the car and invite them to take up residence by the fire. Pampered pooches all…. Very comfy huge bed and dawn brings a misty frosty rising of sun over the wide salmon running River Eden beneath our bay window . Honestly you could cast a fly without leaving your bed should you so wish. An early morning dog walk in the massive grounds, admiring the restored wall garden and keeping a fascinated Terrier away from emerging pheasants sets you for a breakfast of Kings before we sadly have to leave this paradise in Eden. We were very fortunate to get a great low season rate and to be very kindly given an upgrade to a beautiful room, befitting in every way our wedding anniversary. It would have exceeed our dreams, hopes and expectations at twice the cost and we are so grateful and thankful to the owners for giving us such an amazing experience. I urge you to try it
Leaving it after just one night

The room, well the birdie suite, was excellent. Spacious lounge, bedroom and ensuite. All the staff were superb - professional, friendly, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. The evening meal was lovely. The honesty bar was great. The house itself is great. The views, and grounds are all lovely. The hosts added to the friendliness of it all. It's an old country house with its very own character and foibles which made it even more interesting. The rooms we had soon warmed up with the radiators turned up and the public areas of the house were just fascinating. Boots the pointer was the high spot though. 🙂
Nothing really.

Warwick hall is absolutely lovely, we arrived very late on the first night due to an emergency reason, but Val very much welcome us with lovely smile and was very understanding. The room was equipped with dog bowls and blanket when we arrive which was a nice thoughtful touch. The room we had was a corner room which can oversee the garden and the river - which is absolutely stunning. Bedsheets are clean and soft, very comfortable to sleep in. Rooms and all the area of the building were very clean. Staffs were very friendly and attentive. Both breakfast and dinner were amazing. Area surrounding the house was massive and got a path for a walk along the river, a nice woodland area, very vast area of the property a nice and fun walk to see many of English countryside aspects. What really impressed me was that there’s a “Walled Garden” which is literally a garden surrounded by brick walls just like from The Secret Garden (by Frances Hodgson Burnett)!! The owner has his dog in the house who would come and greet you around the house sometimes, occasionally giving you puppy eyes during breakfast. (she is adorable) The place feels like home almost like an old school English country house vibe from a book, and the hosts were lovely. would love to really come back in the future.

Honesty bar with a good selection of drinks. Friendly owners, their dog was also lovely. Great river walk, walled gardens and areas for peace and quite. I slept well and woke to an amazing view, had I brought my fishing gear or had longer I'd have like to fish the stretch of river at the hall. Food was super, fine dining but sensibly priced. Overall it felt more like being in part of someones home and the staff where very accomoddating.
Lounge/bar area was a bit smokey as the fire was smouldering so couldn't sit in there for long. However this did not effect my overall enjoyment of an amazing place.

Hotel rooms were abolutely beatiful, as was the surrounding location. Everything was finished to a perfect standard befitting the building and location - it leans into the stately home decor as opposed to just attempting to go full modern like a Premier Inn. The bedding was exceptionally comfortable, and the ameneties were far better than most standard hotels, and my visit was cheaper than most chain hotels.
Room was moderately cold, although the bed and water was plenty warm.

Beautiful building and grounds. An array of lovely flowers and a beautiful riverside walk with a hidden walled garden. Mrs Marriner was a lovely host and so accommodating, knowledgeable and welcoming. There were baskets at the front door of the building and room with blankets and towels for muddy paws which was a lovely addition. It was a wonderful family and dog friendly stay we only wish we could’ve stayed longer

The whole team was warm, friendly, and professional. Service in the restaurant was outstanding; the food, sublime....cheese soufflé, roast duck, and cheese & biscuits. The location is breathtaking - the views, stunning. Large, spacious room, comfy bed, huge and powerful shower, and great views of the river.
That I stayed for only one night....I was very tempted to extend my stay!
