Everything! The people were very nice and friendly. The breakfast was to die for - fresh friut, chocolate croissants, and if that wasn’t enough, you could order something warm. My husband had eggs benedict with bacon and he loved it. I was completely content with the variety of fresh fruit on offer. (By the way, the food was also displayed beautifully!) As an interior designer, I loved how the hotel was decorated. It was warm and inviting and a little quirky. The materials were beautiful, and the theme, in my opinion, worked perfectly. I also loved our room. One could say it was small, but the clever use of space allowed us more than enough space to store our suitcases with no problem. Considering the size of the room, the size of the bed and bathroom were luxurious. The bed was so cozy and comfortable, I slept great the three nights we were there. Here again, I just loved the decor. It put a smile on my face and made me happy!! We also had a perfect view of Lion’s Head. We were so happy with our choice of this hotel. We will definitely be coming back on our next visit to Cape Town, and I will be sure to tell all my friends about it. A very warm thank you to the entire staff ❤️

It really wasn’t a problem, but there is not a lift. So if you have a hard time with stairs, it could be tricky. That being said, when we checked in, the man brought our suitcase to our room. Very kind people run this hotel.

We had two different experiences in the hotel because we had to ask for extra nights due to the fire in London airport. Our first night was in a beautiful room. Large, spacious and with a fabulous bath area and balcony with a view of lions head. The second two nights we were kindly helped out with accommodation but it was the tiniest loft room. We had to keep watching our heads so we didn’t bash against the beams. Once we’d got used to it we actually got very comfortable in the tiny space. The only issue was that being in the loft the water pressure was affected if other people were using it. We just learnt to wait and use it when it got stronger again. We loved the location and closeness to shops restaurants and the sea. The decor was quirky and interesting and the breakfasts were delicious. The staff were outstanding and all so helpful and friendly.

I loved the attention to detail, the decor is incredible and well thought out and the beds are the most comfortable beds! the staff are friendly and helpful and the location is very central.

if i had to be very picky, i would say that the towels are ready for an upgrade and they could have some more affordable wine options on their menu - there is only one rose to choose and its R450 a bottle, being in the cape a better selection would have been very welcome.

I love this hotel so much. We were in one of the cute attic rooms and it was perfect, I didn't want to leave. The breakfast is exceptional and the staff are really friendly. Location is great and ok for walking down to Mojo Market and back on an evening. Staff are very security conscious, double checking our identity when we came back to pick up bags after we had checked out which I thought was brilliant.

Nothing to dislike, it was fantastic

So beautifully decorated! The bedroom was compact (double bed) but so well organized that you had plenty of storage and a lovely space to walk outside with lovely little pool for hot days. Comfy lounges and desk spaces available for working Breakfasts were so appealing with lots of lovely delicious choices

Wasn’t comfortable to walk at night but we used Uber so this was not a problem Didn’t have an issue on the night we did walk but felt you had to be alert all the time

From prompt airport pickup (thank you, Milton!) to allowing us to leave our bags before check-in time, everything at Pineapple House began perfect and stayed perfect throughout! The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated with so much character, the staff are so friendly and helpful, and the hotel is located on a quiet street just a few easy blocks walk from the sea point promenade, with a convenience store nearby as well. I would absolutely stay at Pineapple House again!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pineapple Hotel. The Hotel is in a good location, perfect for anyone wanting to visit Cape Town. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was delicious. The decor and attention to detail in the room was great also. Thank you to Kiss, Travolta and the team for making our stay special.

We stayed in the attic room which does have short ceilings - if you’re tall, choose another room!

My husband and I had a great time at the Pineapple House! Super friendly service and beautiful design in the room. Excellent breakfast with several warm options brought to the table a la carte style + a variety of fresh fruits available from the buffet. The location in Sea point was great as the area is safe to walk around and there are lots of restaurant options. If we are ever in Cape town again, we'll make sure to book this hotel again :)

The property is located in the heart of Seapoint with an easy walking distance to cafés, shops and restaurants. The house is super charming with lots of love for details. You kind of feel like coming home when entering. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly and always willing to help and support. We weren‘t too happy with the initial room given to us, whereupon quite an effort was made to offer us a different room we were more satisfied with. They definitely try to put guests in the center of attention and want to make everything possible.

I highly recommend everyone interested in the property not to book via booking.com but rather via their own website. Reason for this is that every single room is different in size, shape and design and you can choose the one that resonates best with you via their own website. There can be quite some differences within one category and choosing a specific room from their website will definitely ensure you‘ll be happy with your stay. Please also take into account that there are two parts to the hotel - one that is slightly more new and has a pool area with actual sunbeds.

Lovely hotel, room & staff who go above and beyond! We managed to check in earlier to our room after an early flight from London which we were extremely grateful for as we were very tired!! The rooms were cleaned every day, breakfast was amazing - fresh fruit and hot options, room itself fantastic with fab personal terrace with views of lions head.

The only very minor thing was that we were expecting a small personal use pool in our room based on the images of the room we thought we booked. The property is very close to the beach/pool however and there is a small one next to the dining area.
