We stayed in a studio room with small kitchenette area. This is a real bonus as it allowed us to get supplies from the supermarket onsite to prepare breakfasts etc. The balcony had a sea view and was a lovely place to relax over breakfast and for evening drinks. Everything was spotless and staff very helpful and friendly. You can eat breakfast and lunch out on the terrace overlooking the sea for a very reasonably price. The quality and presentation of the food is amongst the best I have seen in a hotel of this standard. Everything is walkable - the hotel is more or less on the beach, there are some fabulous local restaurants and bars. You can walk along the seafront to the beautiful venetian harbour which is stunning. I would highly recommend this place for a week's stay.

Location, cleanliness, staff, room size/amenities, food were all excellent. Would definitely recommend - good value for money. Even had a convenience store in the lobby.

Not a big deal but only 1 person/group allowed in the gym at a time - had to wait for the manager of the hotel to finish a workout before we were allowed entry.

+ the personal was very kind! + the swimming pool is heated around 28 degrees, with kids part + the beds and pillows were comfortable + it was cleaned every day + at the beach exactly + close to the old town and shops, great location! + the food was tasty + there is playground for kids + very nice view from the balcony! + We are coming next year definitely again! :)

The hotel was a very nicely maintained older property. There was a pool area, restaurant, bar and beach area with sun beds on the property so it was truly beachfront. Our room was nice and comfortable , although again older furnishings, but very nicely maintained. We had a balcony with a fabulous ocean view. There were many choices for evening dining, snacks, ice cream, etc just a few meters walk from the hotel. I found the location to be ideal. It is about 2km walk to the old port area which is very touristy. So we were glad to be beachfront away from that busy area.

For us the property was perfect, no issues whatsoever.

This is a family run hotel that has an exceptional location and extremely helpful and friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to people and come back again. Lovely walk to the old Venetian harbour.

Only slight negative is that the sun beds and umbrellas aren’t available or discounted for hotel guests.

We stayed 6 nights in a one bedroom apartment it was fantastic it had the best view of the sea I could never get tired of just sitting on the balcony or the sitting room on the couch just looking at the ocean. The room was big beds were comfortable kitchen had everything you needed we even cooked a pasta meal one night. The beach is not the best as it is quite rocky we bought swim shoes but once you get past the rocks the water is so warm it was great. Or you can walk 10 min to the left of the beach and it was a sandy beach. Or you could use the pool for free but it was very crowded when we there so we didn’t bother. Lounges cost 10euro for two which was the cheapest in all of the islands we visited. Food and drinks at the beach restaurant were also really good. Lots of restaurants around the hotel The young guy on reception (forgot his name sorry) he was excellent very informative and helpful and organized a trip to Balos for us. We loved our stay at Christina hotel and will definitely be returning.

We had the Annexe apartment, which has both a large and small balcony with views of both the mountains and the sea. We picked this because outside space is important to us. There is also a jacuzzi which we didn’t use and sunbeds, which we did. Internally the rooms are light, airy and spacious. Comfortable beds and a very good shower. The kitchen area is well equipped and on two days when there was a sandstorm and rain we were easily able to prepare a one pan meal. There is private car parking available and immediate access to a lovely sandy beach - but beware - sunbeds cost 10 euros for two, or 15 for the front row!

The duvets were too heavy for summer temperatures and the provided blankets were also too thick and looked like they had seen better days. A lighter weight cotton blanket or throw alternative would be better. My main and only complaint though of this lovely hotel would be the TINY cups provided! Please, provide some decent sized mugs for tea and coffee!

Lovely hotel, staff very friendly, made to feel very welcome even when we arrived very late at night, everywhere was very clean, room great, bathroom small but had everything you needed and we were in one of the smaller studio rooms so to be expected. The room itself was a good size with a nice little kitchen area and a small outside patio with table and chairs. We loved our room on the ground floor that looked out over the pool and you could also see the sea from our patio area. We also loved the hotels position right on the beach which was beautiful and with many restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. The hotel itself had an outside bar and a small outside dining area ( there was a covered area too ) the food and drinks were reasonably priced and food was good and plentiful and it was so relaxing sitting eating breakfast whilst looking out to sea, just perfect! Try the Granola bowl, delicious! We loved it here and will return for longer next time, thank you Hotel Christina for the perfect stay! ,

Close to the beach and walkable to the city. Very unique place. The view from our room was very good, but I think most of the other rooms had side-sea view. The room was well isolated, and I don't remember hearing any disturbing noises. The AC was good, and didn't make annoying noises (like they do in old hotels).

I think the price is much higher than other parts of Chania, but I think it is comparable to the other hotels next to it. There is a swimming pool but I don't think it is that much useful. The balcony faces each other, so there is a lack of privacy.

Highly recommend the Hotel Christina - lovely staff, great value and facilities and the location was perfect for us… close enough to walk to the Old Town, but quiet and beautiful beachfront.
