We always stay at the Buccaneer Motel on all occasions while visiting family on Central Coast. The staff are wonderful, the staff know us, Always welcome. Rooms are clean and fresh, staff go out of their way to help you. Restaurants, walks along the lake at just a stones' throw away. And, it's on The Entrance Road, so turn left, and your on your way to Gosford, Wyong, Forrester's Beach, turn right, and you can go to The Entrance, Long Jetty and Shelly Beach.

Traffic, being on the main highway, there's a lot of traffic. ( We did not hear the traffic from our room ) And if your coming from Gosford Way, you can't turn into the Buccaneer Motel, you must go a bit further on the road, turn into side street, and come back, a lot of mucking around.

Our stay went very well and we would stay again with or without pets. A must stay if your in the area. Rooms were spotless and management couldn't have been more obliging.

We prepaid and check-in was incredibly quick and easy. The lady checking us in was lovely. She advised of the amenities in the room and gave us fresh milk for tea and coffee. The motel is pet friendly, but the first thing I noticed about the room was that it smelled lovely. Everything was simple but nice and clean. The majority of the grounds are smoke free, but there is a decent designated smoking area and everything was incredibly clean, especially given that they accept pets. The motel is situated well, right opposite the 7-eleven and a liquor store on the main road just in case you need a late night snack etc. wWe stayed on a long weekend so the motel was quite full but we didn’t notice any unreasonable noise any other guests. Another plus was the instant access to hot water for the shower.

If you look closely at anything, you’re going to find something and for me, it would be access to the bathroom. It’s a bit tight between the door, wall and vanity but once you’re in the bathroom with the door closed there’s plenty of room. The shower is a little small also but these are nit-picky issues and would not stop us staying there again.

Was quite peaceful considering the location in a busy road staff was truly amazing and welcoming my sons loved the open space to be able to play still very good place for kids

Not anything besides maybe the pet fee shouldn't be a thing unless there is pet damage if remains left there as for peopke with trained pets like myself my dog always will go out side to use bathroom so I didn't think that seems fair

The rooms were modern and very clean and comfortable. Nice and spacious with a cosy bathroom. Good to have a per friendly room. Nice and quiet room at the back of the block off the street as the road can be busy. Need car to get to most areas, but can walk to a couple of cafes near if you wish

The price is a little high for this, but we were travelling over peak time unfortunately.

Room was clean and large. Despite being on a through road, it was quiet with the windows closed. The shower was a little compact for me (tall) but over all the room was great. The owner manager was very helpful regarding my early dropoff of my car.

Minor issue was no milk for tea, may have been available from reception but it was late before I discovered this.

the service was top notch, let us check in late, very helpful reception staff. I liked that it was super clean, beds were comfy and so was the space, plus all the basics necessities provided. Aircon, tv, towels, soap, showerjel, teas/ coffee and milk. Looks exactly like the photos. would definitely recommend and stay again.

Got in very late and the staff were really helpful. Lovely little motel with well appointed room. Nice lighting and felt very cosy and clean. Dog friendly which is amazing. Saw another fellow traveller with their little dog and felt very safe there. Would stay again if passing through the area.

They initially called to say I had to pay extra for my dog, after I had already booked and paid, but they didnt end up charging me, which was good. I would just say that it needs to be more clear on bookings.com if there are extra charges external to the system or clearly stated that your room doesn't include this fee. But my dog is a disability support dog, so I generally don't get charged extra / motels aren't meant to as it's a discrimination. But the staff were so lovely and easy to communicate with and I wouldn't mind paying the extra if I knew in advance.

I loved that the motel has the full range of Foxtel programming on their entertainment system. I have stayed in much more expensive hotels where you get a very, very limited range of entertainment. The rooms are basic but well apointed and have a microwave which is not found everywhere. The staff are wonderful and super friendly
