Nice view of the sea from the room. Amazing staff - happy and always greeting us. Great location, in a safe distance from the area with clubs, and close to bus stops. Very good breakfast.

The hotel is brand new, all the employees are wonderful, always willing to help and provide information. The breakfast is very good, diversified. The room is very large, equipped with a very large TV, a kettle, and every day it is replenished with instant coffee and tea bags. The view from the roof is amazing and even if it's not yet time (February) for a swim in the pool, it gives you a feeling of summer vacation. I also really liked the involvement, the interest shown by those from the hotel management to offer and take an interest in the stay spent by tourists in the location. I'm sorry I can't mention a specific person who made our stay exceptional, because they were all wonderful!!!

We had an amazing stay at Onyx Malta—it exceeded our expectations! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, always making sure we had everything we needed. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, shining with cleanliness. We were pleasantly surprised to receive a free upgrade from a standard room to a luxury studio, which made our stay even more special. The location is also fantastic, close to everything you might need. We could say so much more, and all of it would be positive! Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast could be better, but maybe we are just too picky. For Malta, it’s actually quite good!

The main positive about this hotel is the staff and location! The staff was very responsive and helpful from the front desk to kitchen. The breakfast was very good and they even offer a gluten free option with variety. The rooms were very clean.The positioning of the hotel is great either for food or transport and event a short walk into the marina and a nearby beach or the towns of restaurants and shops all around.

The overall grey colour and a very strange setup of the basic equipment in the room (this is more the architects and interior designer faults), regarding lights positioning, space utilization (small equipment) for a very spacious area, no extra hangers for towels or plug for hairdryer in the bathroom, big empty corners.... Lacks some "life". And a very small restaurant with just 3 tables for 4 member families...can get crowded.

We stayed for a week in the Digital Nomad room. Very nice setup, and you have everything you need in the room. The desk/monitor area was great for working. Close to everything in St. Julians and walking distance to Sliema, where you can take the ferry to Valetta.

The reliability of the Wi-Fi was hugely dissapointing for a digital nomad room though. Many nights I had to share hot-spot from the phone, as wi-fi was not working. Pretty noisy during the night. But that is to expect when you stay right in the center of St. Julians though.

The location is fantastic. Close to stores, bus stop, markets, restaurants... Staff is superb!! Always ready to help and very polite. The room was very clean. The towels are soft, really soft. Breakfast was a good surprise (cost x benefits).

We can't really choose which temperature of AC we want. There was a limit of up to 24 degrees because it is winter. The guy from the reception helped us, but all the time, we have to ask to change it. It is quite annoying. If the hotel offers AC, we should be able to choose which temperature serves us best.

We enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and well maintained during our stay. The staff were all very friendly and courteous. The terrace was lovely and spent a lot of time there. Perhaps a sunshade could be supplied especially in the summer months.

Breakfast was pretty basic. We paid to have breakfast but didn’t use the facility. Orange juice was watered down and the coffee wasn’t great either. There are many places near the hotel where you can buy a much better breakfast for about the same as we paid at the hotel. I would stay at the hotel again but wouldn’t pay for breakfast.

Staff were very welcoming and helpful. We were given a free upgrade and the checking process was efficiently carried out quickly. Hemant Kimar assisted my spouse carrying her suitcase from the car park which is in the basement as there is no access to a lift from the car park to the reception level. He also provided directions to some local places when requested. The room is clean, well laid out, and has enough amenities to make the time here comfortable. The bathroom is quite nice and large enough so one doesn't feel claustrophobic. Lighting is more than adequate with controls nicely located. Our room includes a small office space with a monitor that can be connected as a second screen.

No lift from car park to reception level so get ready for a gym workout if you park first. Advice you to park at entrance first in the loading bay, take luggage out before parking.

The hotel is very modern, clean, breakfast delish and great choice available. We stayed in September and had a suite which was massive at a very reasonable price with breakfast included. Every member of staff are exceptionally wecloming, friendly and helpful and they could not do enough for us. The hotel is around the corner from the busy clubbing street bit it is not in your face so of its not your thing, which it wasn't ours uou just head in a fufferent direction where within a few minutes there are lovely quieter areas , especially down by the marina where there are lovely bars and restaurants. It is a great base though as there is a bus stop just a minutes walk from the hotel, bolt or taxi arrive almost within a minute! We had a car and there was parking u der the hotel for €10 per day. Oh and there is a lovely little rooftop pool, small but lovely to cool off in while sunbathing on the loungers

This was my second stay at Onyx hotel. This time, my stay was perfect. I was able to stay in the same room as the previous time, which I had really enjoyed. Reception staff has been polite and helpful, special thanks to Mohammed for quick internet related problem solving. Roomkeeping was amazing. My room was clean. The location of the hotel is simply perfect for St Julian. Very safe as well.

Maybe just the pillows could be a bit lower, not a big deal.
