The hotel is lovely. Our room was comfortable and well decorated with lovely touches, such as cookies and classical music playing when we walked in. The location of the hotel is great. It's a short walk to town and close to the train station. Staff were all excellent and very friendly. Breakfast was excellent and we had dinner in the restaurant one night which was also very good. It was great staying here and I definitely would again!

The room could have been slightly cleaner. There was a bit of dust in some areas and the carpet and walls were slightly marked/scuffed. However, this didn't take away from the overall experience.

We had a great stay overall. Our room was fantastic—spacious and well laid out, with a separate sitting room and bedroom, plus a handy kitchenette. It was a nice touch to find fresh milk and bottled water in the fridge. The bed was very comfortable, and everything felt clean and well maintained. All in all, a comfortable and enjoyable stay with a few small areas that, if addressed, would make it excellent.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The room overlooked a busy road, and with the windows needing to stay open due to the hot weather, the traffic noise was noticeable. The bathroom, while nicely designed, had quite a bit of mould in the shower tile grouting, which could use attention, and the toilet seat seemed slightly misaligned. We did occasionally notice a bit of kitchen smell drifting up from the restaurant below, but it wasn’t overpowering. On the plus side, we had our evening meal there, and it was really good, and breakfast was lovely too—though it was a bit surprising not to see beans or a hash brown on the cooked breakfast. About a 20-minute walk into Bournemouth itself.

We had a lovely stay. Comfortable and friendly staff. We found Tom welcoming and efficient on our first morning. The lovely housekeeper S did a great job and was very amenable. Peggy loved her! Excellent breakfast and two evening meals. Chef approachable.

Not much to dislike at all . Just a couple of observations… there is a small step down in the approach to our suite which could be a bit of a trip hazard and might do with a contrast strip to highlight it as both of us nearly tripped once ! Wasn’t keen on the sugar cubes .. not very hygienic with numerous fingers handling them ? Wrapped sugar and biscuits good idea.

The room we stayed in was so comfortable and quite We liked the decor, so well thought out. The bathroom had a great walk in shower Good free internet in the bedroom Great choice at breakfast, well presented Great atmosphere in the bar and at the outside seating Staff were all so friendly and Beth at breakfast did a great job Free car park and you can walk down to the sea in 15mins We will stay again

If I had to say anything negative it would be the evening menu. Although plenty of choice, doesn’t suit a plain eater. Needs to have some pub classics.

Breakfast is included in the price of the room, and was exceptional. Everything was freshly prepared to order by a chef, no self service buffet and tired cooked eggs. Instead we had a menu of traditional favourites, and a wide range of continental and brunch specialities. We had unlimited drinks, all freshly made. All the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble, there was always someone available to help and advise.

Our 'cosy room' was well appointed and the bed was large and comfortable, but it was not ideal for people of our age. The bed could only be accessed from one side, so one of us had to climb over to the far side, and could not get out without disturbing the other. Also being right next to the window meant that the curtains had to remain closed. Fortunately, when a larger room became available on the final night of our stay, we were offered an upgrade, which was very welcome!

We booked here for a last minute pet-friendly weekend away to Bournemouth. The rooms are very cute and cozy - we stayed in the smallest type available, the Avon, but it didn't feel cramped. The bathrooms feel modern and clean. The pub menu for lunch and dinner downstairs feels unique from other pub menus, and had quite tasty options. The noise from the pub below wasn't ever an issue. The beach and town centre are about a 30minute walk away, or just a few minutes drive.

The carpets are a bit stained in the room, but perhaps that's to be expected at a dog friendly hotel with carpets. Our room was facing quite a busy road, so you hear traffic most of the day, but that didn't bother me. The shower pressure was also a little bit weak in my opinion.

A really great Dog friendly place, they had thought of everything, even a dog mat & bowls waiting in our room. We stayed in the cosy Room which was lovely & clean. Bed super comfy with fresh milk & bottled water in mini fridge. We especially enjoyed having real coffee with a cafeteria. They even have beach bags available that include all the necessities if you mention your off to the beach ( we already had our own stuff so didn’t ask) Great Breakfast & staff really accommodating oncould not fault them at all. Thank you There is a bus stop directly outside the accommodation but We enjoy walking so took a lovely little 20 minute slow stroll to the beach, we will be back for sure :)

Lovely room very clean and to my style perfect to visit family near by, good value and breakfast good quality Although breakfast was nice , there was quite a delay as there were around 28 breakfasts to do for a load of language students that took up quite a big area of the breakfast area , so I asked to sit away in a quieter area away from them to have my breakfast in peace, i asked for more tea as the first serving was too cold to drink the rest with my delayed breakfast. as I was enjoying the breakfast a large group of students stood by the entrance making a lot of noise and bouncing balls in the bar area I said to the boy ‘ excuse me can you play with that outside I’m trying to eat my breakfast’ ( where were the adults looking after the students ?) and staff could have been aware of my situation. also had to ask for butter and brown sauce ! Which kind of tainted my morning relaxed breakfast time , staff member did apologise after I mentioned what happened , maybe i picked the wrong time for breakfast or staff shortage / concentrating on the larger party of people ??

Excellent value for a weekend stay near Bournemouth. Very conscientious and friendly staff. As we checked in the reception gave us a room not facing the main road too, a gesture much appreciated. The room is nicely decorated with lots of small nice touches (e.g. Roberts radio, Bramley toiletries, etc) along with a very comfortable bed. Our rate included breakfast and it was very good food. We felt spoiled for our visit and would wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The mood lighting might have been overdone as there wasn't a main light to illuminate the room. Our room unfortunately situated above the kitchen so at one point I could hear them playing the music, but the staff was very quick to tune the music down.
