Great host's with service second to none and rarely found nowadays. Lovely room with great view, clean and well equipped (iron and board, hairdryer plenty tea, coffee sugar etc. even fresh milk and biscuits), wanted for nothing. Exceptional breakfast. Felt very homely and welcomed and will definitely stay again. Two very lovely guys... pleasure to meet you both and look forward to seeing you next year.

David and Alex are very welcoming, kind and considerate hosts, with attention to detail such as fresh milk in the room (in a small fridge), tea and shortbread in arrival and making the time to sit and chat when I arrived. Breakfast was great (especially the overnight oats) and nothing seemed to be too much trouble, including lending me local maps and walk books to help me enjoy the local area, and driving me to Arnside station on departure. It's a 3 minute walk to the shops and restaurants on the promenade and under 15 minutes walk to the station. The house is immaculately clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept like a log. I hope to return soon!

Excellent hosts, very attentive. Superb breakfast. Clean and comfortable room (not the biggest), but full of everything you would need for your stay. Excellent location just off the promenade.

Although the shutters in the room windows looked great they did not stop the sun bursting into the room at 5.00 am! Our toilet had a macerator attached to it which was very noisy, all the water from the room went through it....wash basin, shower and toilet.

The breakfast was exceptional, with plenty of choice and refills whenever requested. The location is fantastic with a great view of the estuary. The Kentwood is located just off the promenade behind Albion pub. Nothing was too much trouble, David and Alexander are great hosts and we will be returning soon…!!!

Alex & David excellent hosts, You have a lovely B&B with a lovely attention to detail, fantastic location, and great knowledge of the area. I think Kentwood deserves a 10 all day, the bathroom in our bedroom was amazing with the best shower ever, the reason for our score of 9 was down to the breakfast. The service was brilliant, as was chatting to you both, but, the breakfast just let it down, the bacon was dry and seemed to have been cooked well before we got it, plus the large breakfast served on a small plate doesn't work. This certainly won't stop us returning. Thanks for a great stay. Andy & Jackie

What a brilliant find, the accommodation was spotless, our room was lovely and very comfortable with everything we needed and more. David and Alexander couldn't do enough for us. The breakfast choice was very good and the food was excellent. We enjoyed it so much we booked an extra night. The location is ideal, so close to the front. We will certainly be returning in the future. Thank you again David and Alexander

All round fantastic B&B. Very friendly and accommodating hosts. The location is excellent just a 20 second walk to the front and one of the two pubs. David and Alexander have provided all the little details that sometimes get missed; a fridge with fresh milk in your room, bottle opener and wine glasses, a kettle that actually fits under the bathroom sink tap, plus additional tea/coffee/hot chocolate that you can help yourself to at anytime. The choice of breakfast was really good and prepared to a very high standard using quality ingredients. We were really lucky with the weather and made use of the outdoor seating area whilst enjoying the view of the estuary and the hills beyond. Equally if the weather hadn’t been as nice, there is a guest lounge with comfy chairs overlooking the estuary.. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Thank you David and Alexander for being excellent hosts, your house is beautiful.

The location was excellent with a fabulous view of the estuary and a spectacular sunset seen from our room. Our room was very comfortable and clean. Our breakfast was excellent, thanks for everything.

We enjoyed our stay at Kentwood tremendously and we are unable to fault anything. We even managed to get good weather lovely sunny days.

Everything was perfect apart from asking for twin beds but getting a double. We managed to contrive different bedding warmth so it worked out ok

Dave and Alex couldn’t do enough to make our stay wonderful. The house was beautiful, clean and very comfortable and was just a few yards from the front. The breakfasts were out of this world.
