Le Meez was a surprising discovery. Located on the route into town, the setting isn’t great untill you walk into the hotel itself. It’s bright, stylish, and very comfortable. Our room was modern and really spacious, cleverly designed with the guest in mind. We ate dinner there too and the food was superb. Secure onsite parking which was a bonus. Great bathroom, comfy beds, delighted staff. PReally good value. We would definitely rate Le Meez as a fantastic hotel.

Amazing host with exceptional customer service. Modern hotel with bonus of a very nice pool & delicious food in the restaurant. Waiting staff were very friendly & professional. Breakfast was delicious & just enough. The bedroom was comfortable & bathroom very generous in size with a fabulous bath & special finishing touches; robes, L'Occitane toiletries & shampoos for the children. Location is great if you're arriving by car but a good 40 minutes from the train station with very few buses. The host is definitely expert in providing 1st class service and looked after all guests. We appreciated very much that the owner opened up the pool late afternoon so our son could have a dip. We enjoyed sitting in the garden area in the sun.

The location on the outskirts of Carcassonne suits travellers coming by car but was a little too far out of town if arriving by train.

A very interesting modern building recently redeveloped as a hotel, it has everything you need onsite if you are either on a stopover or on a cocooning break and don't want to put a toe out of the property. The decoration is thought out and the restaurant serves good and plentiful food, including some vegetarian options. The outside-of-town/surburb location was perfect for us, if however you want to visit the town or go out at night, you will need a car. Pets are accepted and there is free secure parking.

For a perfect stay, a few details want fixing, such as the lights and heating in the bathroom (in the room we were in) and the automatic curtains settings, but we believe they will be taken care of.

Lovely, modern, comfortable hotel with very friendly staff. Great meals in the restaurant. Walking distance to the castle.

Hotel was a half hour walk to the centre. Public bus available but not very frequently & not on a Sunday. Surrounding area not very scenic...close to an industrial estate.

Nice location, convenient parking, well-equipped and spacious room. They have many children’s books, and I found it very thoughtful that they included some Little Prince details for our boy

Dinner at the restaurant didn’t meet expectations — the food was average and overpriced. This is an area where they could improve

Andre the owner is a fantastic guy . Nothing was to much trouble for him' extremely helpfull with everything. And the Restaurant upstairs is very good with excellent food and a very cool / modern layout .We used the taxi service recommended by Andre and they were very reliable and fairly priced trip to medieval town / Castle around 10 euros from hotel .

Very enjoyable stay, relaxing environment, attention to detail, lovely breaksfast, good environmental ( recycling) ethic, AND we were upgraded so had a super large size room, overlooking the garden and pool. Location about a mile from the city away from the crowds, and awoke to sound of a nightingale. Friendly host, english speaking, excellent facilities. Would stay again, wish we had longer there.

We had a great stay at La Meez. Rooms are spacious, clean and tastefully designed as well as the brand new bathroom with its freestanding bathtub. My friends and I booked the spa and enjoyed some french wine in the jacuzzi, very recommended :) Also, heads up to the breakfast that was delicious with local products and pastries. Thank you to the owner which is especially kind and available!

Leading edge and well thought out design. Huge room with electric blinds and wetroom. Friendly, professional welcome. Free use of gym. Intimate well equipped spa bookable for exclusive use at reasonable price.

My dog says he didn't like having to walk along the side of a road with traffic.

The owner was beyond amazingly helpful in suggesting fabulous restaurants, great discounted car hire, places well worth a visit and was so cheerful about everything! He showed his hotel off with a pride that was so very well achievable! We very much hope to return soon!
