Everything was absolutely wonderful! The accommodation is spotless, good quality and comfortable. The furniture, bed and outside furniture are all quality. The host Barbara is a lovely lady who has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable, breakfast is provided and is downstairs and available to help yourself whenever you are ready, and there's also snacks, drinks, beers and wines available with an honesty box . The view from the room and balcony is just stunning. Totally wonderful place directly on the SW coast path for walking. Free parking available. There's nothing not to like.

Nothing at all!

I spent 2 nights here and absolutely loved it. I stayed in a room with a sea view, which was simply amazing – waking up to that view was a highlight of my trip. The Penellen guest accommodation is just a 2-minute walk from the beach, in a calm and stunning area. There’s a lovely café on the way to the beach and a great restaurant only 5 minutes away on foot. The room was clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The owner was really nice and helpful, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. I had a peaceful and relaxing experience, and I will definitely be coming back!

Cleanliness and the look of this property is top notch, although self catering, a honesty bar providing snacks and drinks is available which really makes a difference. Views of the surrounding beach are fantastic. The shower in the room we had for me was perfect. There is a pub (operated by the nearby Haven site) a couple of hundred yards away which is perfect for evening meals and drinks if you aren't wanting to leave the location itself.

Me and my partner had the best two nights stay at this fabulous property in the most beautiful location. The views from the room are phenomenal and have to be seen to b3 fully appreciated. Barbara the host was perfect and one of the most friendly people you can hope to meet. The room was perfect and the complimentary breakfast assortment provided was amazing for a room only basis. We will definitely be back and can't recommend this establishment enough. Thanks for a perfect stay

Even though I booked room only a breakfast was included consisting of cereal, cereal bars, yogurts,juices and fruit. There was also milk and bottled water supplied and an ample amount of tea and coffee. Which was a pleasant surprise. Very good location with stunning views across the turquoise sea to the bay of St.ives. There was a telescope in the room which you could use. The hosts were very friendly and informative about surrounding areas.

Beautifully clean. Nice addition of breakfast even though roon only. Good parking. Warm. Good to have a fridge in the room. Lovely view.

For our own comfort it would have been nice to have a couple of small easy chairs rather than having to sit or lie on the bed. There was an upright chair and plastic chairs for the balcony however.A couple of glasses in the room would be nice. A larger bin and maybe a different TV as sound was not brilliant and not very big but more than adequate.

I arrived earlier than expected. Barbara couldn't have been more welcoming. Parking was straightforward, the room did not disappoint and the sea view was amazing - really nice to be able to sit out on the little balcony. The breakfast provision was spot on for me and an added bonus given that this was a 'room only' rate.

The location with that view, you could sit on the balcony all day and all evening and it wouldn’t get old. Very thoughtful hosts that had drinks and snacks that could be purchased via an honesty box.

Only small comment was the mattress was too hard for our liking, but realise others might like a firm mattress - otherwise everything was spot on.

Location is amazing. Room was very nice with amazing view. Fruits available and also breakfast items included which was a bonus. Also honesty box for drinks or snacks. Will return again for sure

The only thing that there was a slight smell of smoke at the entrance but this was minor thing and didn’t affect out stay

It was room only but they did supply breakfast cereals, breakfast bars, juices and fruit which you could help yourself to which was a lovely gesture by the lovely owners.

The only negative i could say would be maybe the mattress could do with being replaced but it certainly didn't affect our stay.
