Very modern and clean. Lovely staff and location

We were in the room next to the restaurant and there was quite a bit of noise from cutlery etc late at night and very early in the morning

Excellent spacious room with fully equipped kitchen, balcony, sofa and two televisions. Great location. Really clean.

It is an old building so there is zero soundproofing unfortunately. Ear plugs needed!

The property was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The front desk even left Easter eggs in our room for our three children. The room was spacious and the view of the nearby cathedral was awesome. Quick walk to the waterfront made seeing all Cobh had to offer very easy.

The restaurant in the hotel was disappointing. The food was lack luster for the price and the staff barely checked in to make sure we were doing alright. When we were done we were left to figure out how to get our bill and pay because once plates were cleared we were given zero information. We sat waiting for quite sometime after asking for our bill before we finally went to the front desk and were told oh yeah you get your bill and pay here. The breakfast was clearly just popped in the microwave. The worst of the breakfast options we encountered on our two week vacation in Ireland.

Great location, lovely clean and comfortable room, chinese downstairs smelled amazing ! Staff were super super friendly and welcoming.

The water in the shower was cold. When i was in the bar, i was served west coast cooler that was over a year past the expiration date, as was my sister. When brought to the attention of the staff he didn’t seem too concerned or apologetic and simply went to the store room to get us two new cans, but didn’t offer a refund or replace the other expired cans on the shelf behind the bar which we really thought he should’ve done straight away. Other than that it was a lovely hotel and i would recommend !

The view was amazing and the staff even more so. They were so helpful and kind. The China Sea restaurant offered a great selection and the staff their was amazing as well.

Ugh.. you can hear everything. Doors were slamming shut throughout the night as ppl came in and out. We were on the second floor and could hear the ppl above us actually turn over as the bed squeaked so loudly. If you're a light sleeper bring earplugs.

We were made feel very welcome and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The cooked breakfast was not in the least bit greasy which is a pet hate of mine! The bed was very comfortable and the room was well furnished . It was also equipped with a microwave and fridge! We liked the location as our room and the breakfast room had superb views of the sea. It was also very close to the centre of town which meant we could walk rather than drive.

We found the parking spaces a little scary as they were on a hill ..in the room, a standing lamp in the seating area or some extra wall lights there would have improved our experience. A light dimmer for the main switch would have been a good alternative to that.

The hotel excellent,couldn't fault anything. The only negative is the elevated setting which involves a steep hill which might not suit everybody to walk up

A beautiful hotel/bed and breakfast. The front desk staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms are spacious and roomy and very modern, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a four-bed room with twin beds and plenty of room for all of us and our luggage. Also, the bathroom was huge and excellent water pressure in the shower with nice plentiful hot water. The room had a lovely view of the Cathedral and the harbor. Also, the breakfast room staff was a very lovely man and woman. We really enjoyed talking to them and they went over and above to make sure we had what we needed at breakfast. This was the most plentiful and delicious breakfast we had while traveling in Ireland. It was perfect! From the hotel/suites you can easily walk down to town and the harbor including the Deck of Cards Houses and the Cathedral. The hotel is on the top of the hill so you will need to be able to walk back up. Those who aren't able to handle the walk up may need to get transportation. There is parking in town if you prefer to drive, however it is very walkable if you are able. We walked everywhere and loved it!

The room was nice and comfortable . Nice bar with good choice. Excellent view around the bay . Staff were really nice and friendly . The hotel had a Chinese Restaurant which was unusual but really nice food but was shut on one of the two days we were staying.

It is high up a steep hill overlooking the bay, easy to walk down to the seafront but we needed a taxi to get back up , we waited an hour for it to turn up in the evening Not the hotels fault but was uncomfortable . No food was available at the hotel one evening we stayed.

The location was beautiful 😍 the views from the hotel were amazing. The weather was fabulous which made it even better. The room was so clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Small language barrier when ordering our dinner that evening but certainly wouldn't put me off going again. The town was just a short hilly walk but with the views it helped.

Nothing apart from the walk back up the hill to the hotel from the town LOL...
