The property was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly. The front desk even left Easter eggs in our room for our three children. The room was spacious and the view of the nearby cathedral was awesome. Quick walk to the waterfront made seeing all Cobh had to offer very easy.

The restaurant in the hotel was disappointing. The food was lack luster for the price and the staff barely checked in to make sure we were doing alright. When we were done we were left to figure out how to get our bill and pay because once plates were cleared we were given zero information. We sat waiting for quite sometime after asking for our bill before we finally went to the front desk and were told oh yeah you get your bill and pay here. The breakfast was clearly just popped in the microwave. The worst of the breakfast options we encountered on our two week vacation in Ireland.

We were made feel very welcome and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The cooked breakfast was not in the least bit greasy which is a pet hate of mine! The bed was very comfortable and the room was well furnished . It was also equipped with a microwave and fridge! We liked the location as our room and the breakfast room had superb views of the sea. It was also very close to the centre of town which meant we could walk rather than drive.

We found the parking spaces a little scary as they were on a hill ..in the room, a standing lamp in the seating area or some extra wall lights there would have improved our experience. A light dimmer for the main switch would have been a good alternative to that.

A beautiful hotel/bed and breakfast. The front desk staff were so nice and friendly and helpful. Also, the rooms are spacious and roomy and very modern, clean and bright. Beds were comfortable and clean. We had a four-bed room with twin beds and plenty of room for all of us and our luggage. Also, the bathroom was huge and excellent water pressure in the shower with nice plentiful hot water. The room had a lovely view of the Cathedral and the harbor. Also, the breakfast room staff was a very lovely man and woman. We really enjoyed talking to them and they went over and above to make sure we had what we needed at breakfast. This was the most plentiful and delicious breakfast we had while traveling in Ireland. It was perfect! From the hotel/suites you can easily walk down to town and the harbor including the Deck of Cards Houses and the Cathedral. The hotel is on the top of the hill so you will need to be able to walk back up. Those who aren't able to handle the walk up may need to get transportation. There is parking in town if you prefer to drive, however it is very walkable if you are able. We walked everywhere and loved it!

The room was nice and comfortable . Nice bar with good choice. Excellent view around the bay . Staff were really nice and friendly . The hotel had a Chinese Restaurant which was unusual but really nice food but was shut on one of the two days we were staying.

It is high up a steep hill overlooking the bay, easy to walk down to the seafront but we needed a taxi to get back up , we waited an hour for it to turn up in the evening Not the hotels fault but was uncomfortable . No food was available at the hotel one evening we stayed.

The location was beautiful 😍 the views from the hotel were amazing. The weather was fabulous which made it even better. The room was so clean and modern and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Small language barrier when ordering our dinner that evening but certainly wouldn't put me off going again. The town was just a short hilly walk but with the views it helped.

Nothing apart from the walk back up the hill to the hotel from the town LOL...

What a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating. As there was no lift the receptionist carried our bags to the room. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, kettle with tea and coffee and a box of After Eight mints were in the room for us. The view was wonderful, we could see the Church and the sea from our window. Staff were helpful in pointing out things to do and see in the area. Ate dinner in the Chinese restaurant on site - excellent meal. Breakfast was also very good, with a number of options including a full Irish. Had help in bringing luggage down as well, were allowed to leave our car while we continued to explore Cobh. Came back one last time and asked if we could have a pot of tea before we left, and they provided tea and scones in a matter of minutes although it was outside of regular dining hours. Would not hesitate to recommend and would definitely stay again.

The receptionists were friendly and when we arrived our suitcase was carried to the room. The bar staff were great and loved to chat. The Asian food in the restaurant was good. The junior suite was spacious with a great view of the cathedral, cork harbour and spike island. We enjoyed having a drink on the balcony with great views in the evenings. The lady serving breakfast on the Wednesday of our trip was friendly and ran the breakfast service efficiently

The only bit of our visit we weren't 100% happy with, was the breakfast service on the Monday and Tuesday mornings. Our hot food was brought out on both mornings before we had finished our cereal

Kevin, the cleaning crew, the hospitality staff all were top notch. It was clean peaceful and a breathtaking view in #205. Kitchen was adequately equipped.

The stairs haha... but they were worth the view. The desk concierge carried my HEAVY cases up the 2 flights ... so grateful for that. The bfast IS WORTH the small price. Full Irish, great coffee fresh fruits 2 kinds of juices and milk cereal,scones croissants, pastries... so hard to choose

The location is great! The Chinese restaurant on site is very good. And the staff is excellent.

The room was very stuffy. Fortunately there was a fan to blow the warm air around and be a good white noise for the noise of the kitchen nearby. The restaurant is very echoey due to no softening touches. I would’ve laid out two long decorative rugs and dialed down the elevator music a couple of notches to make the ambiance fit the beautiful setting.

The staff was so helpful and accommodating. I wanted to order a birthday cake for my partner and Samuel arranged that for me before we arrived. He had been friendly and helpful, and catered to all our requests. We got an upgrade too and got a room at the top with sea view. The hotel had a bar which was really good and we spent a good bit of time over there as well. All local attractions were just 10 mins walk away.

The hotel was missing lift and it's challenging for older people to go up and down with their luggages. Also, found it slightly over priced. However, everything else was amazing and we really liked our stay.
