Amazing value for money, the view, and the location was perfect. We went in the winter season and the rooms were ever so warm, and the rooms were in good condition and well maintained. They were willing to accommodate our every request - especially being vegetarian, the chief was very accommodating. Unfortunately being winter we weren't able to use the pool outside the room, but in the warmer summer periods a place we will most definitely come back to.

Everything was amazing.

The food is really good - especially the pizzas! Breakfast was also beautifully presented. The gardens and buildings are well maintained. The thoughtful snacks and slippers were a nice suprise.

My only criticism would be that the bathroom on our little cottage could probably use a bit of an update. I am a very light sleeper so the train and pump next to our room disturbed me in the night.

Place is super clean and quite. Staff is very welcoming and always ready to help. Rooms were spacious and clean. Great place if you just want to chill.

No fans or AC in the rooms. If you get hot quickly not much you can do. Veg options in the menu was very limited. Place is a bit expensive compared to other places specially since there isn't much you can do at the hotel.

Nice Breakfast, We had excellent steak and lamb chops for dinner. Superb location for events hosted at Michael House Enjoyed the pool in front of the Room

Door to the Room not standard height, as there is a step outside, and then an awkward step into the room. My husband bumped his head very hard on the final day.

The property is beautiful! Offering the most pristine views and a private pool. The staff is so friendly.

No air conditioning in the rooms. There’s a lot of spiders and other crawling insects that we found in the room. Be prepared to hear everything that the people in the next unit do. I mean everything!

The location was perfect for the festival at Michaelhouse. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. Everything was just in good working order.

Their information book in the rooms needs to be updated.

The tranquility, friendly and respectful staff; Jabu and Thobeka were awesome. The food was also great.

1. The jacuzzi was not working and we were not advised as the time of booking. 2. The decorative flowers around the fountain infront of the reception were removed on Sunday and we checked out on Monday… are they only there for weekends? not nice as we wanted to take photos on Monday morning… 3. The entrance to the hiking trail needs attention, dirty and too muddy for a hot day like it was on Saturday. the rest of the trail was beautiful.

The location was just perfect and everything was clean and comfortable. Attention to detail as in some water in the rooms, robes etc.

Can’t think of anything was good value for money, the breakfast and coffee was a great as well and included!

The location was great, and the views were to die for.

The accommodation had no air-conditioning, and the bar did not have much to offer to drink. Everything was out of stock while the property was fully booked.

The food was excellent 👌. The room was very clean , comfortable and tranquil. The views from the restaurant were breathtaking. We enjoyed our stay. Very close to Michael House
