Really convenient location. Couple of meters walk from the Sol metro station. Spacious and can accommodate upto 4 people, though you'd have to request your bed before hand. Has a small "bathtub" though it would be best only for kids.

Room: It doesn't really have windows, though it has a big glass panel that has some built in lights to mimic that window feel. There's no drainage on the bathroom floor, hence water take awhile to dry if it gets wet. Though they mention they clean the room, they don't necessarily wipe down most surfaces, hence the bedside table, bed headboard and undet the bed is really dusty. The aircond needs cleaning as it's all clogged up with dust, and it needs a refill of gas. Being near the train station is a blessing and a curse. Being able to hear the train at all hours due to the thin walls, takes a while to get use to it. Also walls are super thin, you could always hear the neighbors unlocking and closing the doors.

The location, just a few steps off of Plaza Sol, was incredible. Also, for being right in the center of Madrid, the price was excellent. Rooms have been remodeled fairly recently so are modern and clean.

Rooms are small and somewhat cramped, but that’s understandable for such a good price. For me, that space-price tradeoff was perfect. Wi-Fi connectivity was problematic during both of my visits, staying in two different rooms. In one, the Internet access speed seemed to plumb it at 11 PM every day. In the other room I could almost never connect to Wi-Fi at all.

It's the Centre of Madrid, near all the sightseeing. Twenty minutes walking from Atocha railway station, direct and clear way. The hostel is in the ancient building, but rooms are modern equiped. My room was on the second floor (here is reception as well). The elevator goes to the second floor as well, but there are five floors in the house. My room was quite comfortable for me. I like the balcony, small ancient one. Modern bathroom, cosy and comfortable bed. And very helpful and friendly personal! I highly recommend this hostel! .

I didn't notice any flows.

24-hour desk service is very helpful for getting in late to check-in. Staff were friendly. The beds were comfy enough and the bathroom is good for a hostel. The location is OK - we mainly wanted to be close to Malasana or Lavapies and this isn't far from either and is also well connected to other places via Sol station.

The location isn't the best. Not a lot of good bars or cafes in the immediate vicinity but that's just me being picky. In terms of facilities, I might expect more given the price isn't as cheap as you'd expect hostels to be.

There was everything I needed for a solo traveler, electrical sockets were well positioned. plenty of hot water. The location was in the center of town, easy and cheap to reach from the airport by the underground rail service. The Sol underground station was only a few minutes walking distance away.

Although there were not many, there were a few stairs to climb. Not a problem for younger visitors but for older guests like myself carrying luggage up stairs is not much fun. Saying that I was helped to my room by a very helpful receptionist

The place was best for sightseeing (although I did not visit for sightseeing). Although the room was small but it was enough for my stay. The room was clean enough. It was convinient that an automatic vendor machine besides the front desk provided coffee. The front desk personnel were also helpful.

The visitor should note that the place is not a quiet place, since many restaurants are close to the hotel. I did not care and I could sleep very well, but if you are sensitive for sleep, I do not recommend to choose this place.

+ Extremely good location, very clean, very normal people living there, kind hosts.

- Beds are small in height and width (about 1.85m x 1.40m). Double bed for two men is very small. The bathroom is crumbled but clean and does its job.... Bathtub is soooooo small but anyways. You hear some noise from the street (no cars, just people crossing) since the square is busy almost all day. So, someone might be bothered at night. We were so tired that we slept fine nonetheless.

Everything was super. Staff at reception desk was nice and polite. If you need hairdryer, some extra higyene products, or something else, just ask. My bedroom and bathrom were small, but in city centre are old buildings, with limited options for upgrade. Just keep in mind that you are in beautiful Madrid, and you will forget size of the room, or noice from the street 😉. For me, position of hotel is the best thing. Considering that I travel alone and had early morning flight, 24/7 reception desk was very important and helpful.

Location was central and close to Sol Metro station, walking distance to shops, restaurants, trains/buses, everything. Room was lovely, bright and welcoming. Beds were comfortable. Well set up with good lighting. Enough space for 4 adults and their luggage. Wi-fi was really good. Wall mounted TV present and worked well. Bathroom was modern but could use shelving or a cupboard for storage. Reception had friendly staff 24/7 who could speak/understand English and took care of room key, no need for us to carry. Buzzer at entrance to get in, felt safe and secure. Could borrow hair dryer overnight at no charge.

Had to go via reception every time coming/going and collect key to our room. Nowhere to hang towels in bathroom. Breakfast onsite would be a bonus if possible. We wanted to stay longer but had to continue with our holiday.

Perfect location, very friendly staff available 24h, room cleaned daily, there’s a lift in the building, the Wi-Fi was ok. The room was not very big but comfortable and there were a lot of sockets so the three of us could comfortably charge all our phones and other devices.

just a minor ‘complain’, it would be nice if there were a kettle in the room or at least in the reception. Not a big deal but a nice touch.
