The location is very good but the most amazing is the service and kindness of the staff!! They are just amazing and very welcoming/helpful. The gran via metro station is some steps away.

The rooms (even with a view) are old and, even if clean, they smell a little. They are using self dispensers for soap/shampoo etc, but they’re kissing the body lotion. I even asked for some extra bathroom stuff cause I forgot about it, and they didn’t had body lotion. Rooms are not noise proof so be sure to bring earplugs to sleep well.

The location is great as a base for a short stay, the breakfast is very good, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Rooms are rather small, but that is usual in Europe's older hotel buildings. I have been in Madrid many times for short periods, and I usually prefer location, convenience, and safety over other options. I also loved the co-working space, particularly as our room did not have a basic desk given the dimension constraints.

For those who have to work remotely at least a little while traveling, not having a desk is a pain. The little table is just that, too little. I used the co-working area, which is a nice place with vending machines. I am usually a business traveler, and not having a working area in the room would have been a deal breaker; this time, I was traveling with family but still had to do minor work. I was conscious of this limitation (I have been staying at this hotel before) and have chosen it because of the location and good cost/benefit profile.

Absolutely excellent location on Gran Via just down from Callo, across the street from Chueca, and in the middle of all the action in the heart of central Madrid. Staff was very friendly, and rooms were nice. The hotel breakfast was good with hot and cold choices to suit almost anyone. Location again was fantastic and really worth the stay, although it could be a little loud at night, but that’s to be expected in the heart of Madrid. The hotel is also steps away from the Gran Via metro station on lines 1 and 5.

Could be a tad loud, but worth the stay regardless because of the location.

The Hotel is in exceptional location just in the heart of Gran via. - Gran Via square is merely 100 meters. - right in front of metro - Hop on Hop off bus stop is in 200 meters . Just cross the road and board the bus . - MacD is right in the corner may be 10 steps away to get some late night food. - Room cleaning was done efficiently.

Things that would have better - - Heater should be more efficient - Room space is quite tiny compare to price and hotels in other location - May be bit noisy at night

Location is perfect in the heart of the city centre. Room with city view was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was also very good. Staff is very friendly and kind.

Although, the internet offered by the hotel was free, it was very, very weak (unable to visit any website and/or to see a movie in the late night). It was useless. I believe this is a point they may have to improve in the near future.

Location and vew was exceptional. The table and two chairs were beautiful by the window. Good hot shower.

The furniture is a little old and too basic. the bathroom can have a nice remodel. And I would add that it needs better lighting

The location was excellent to public and so much to see. The room was excellent and the bathroom was very nice. I think the breakfast was typical for a Europe hotel. The view from the breakfast room was very nice.

The signage in the hotel was a little difficult to navigate although I liked all the smaller hallways with rooms off of it. I thought there was minimal outside noise in the room I was in.

The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious and even though I was a solo traveler, I got towels for two people. The breakfast was great and the staff was nice and helpful. The location was great! Would definitely recommend this hotel.

My room was looking at a wall. It was basically between buildings. I would have to stick my head out the window and look up to see how the weather is that day since there is not much natural lighting. On the bright side, when it was 40 degrees outside, the room was not hot even in the hottest hours. There was a constant sound coming during the night, like there was an AC somewhere, or a ventilation, which I was not bothered by that much. I felt strong odors coming from the outside a few times in the morning, too. I am assuming it's the fumes from doing laundry. Despite all of this, this hotel is great, I would definitely stay again next time!

Cleaning staff are very, VERY loud far too early in the morning which, unfortunately, is a problem when you would like a little lie-in on weekend mornings. No coffee or tea making facilities in room which would be nice. Only one shower towel provided. No fridge in room, sadly.

I had a great stay at this hotel. Laura was exceptionally friendly, helpful. The hotel went out of its way to assist me with an urgent delivery, even holding onto it until I checked in. The staff overall were very welcoming and attentive. The location is outstanding, making it easy to explore the area. Highly recommended!
