Location is excellent, starbucks, Mc Ds and Tapas literally across the road. The metro is also right outside the hotel. The whole place smells really nice and the rooftop bar has amazing views. Interesting array of in room snacks and mini bar but all at cost. Complimentary water provided and toiletry bag.

Quite expensive, depending on the season. October the place is heaving but the sky bar closed at 8:30pm so that's unfortunate because, although for guests only, i would have liked to utilise that.

The rooms are beautiful; not large but it was comfortable for myself and my wife, and the views were incredible. Some people have complained about noise from the square, but we did not have any problems. Room service is timely and efficient, and the location is unbeatable.

The mini fridge is well stocked, but the room service is a bit odd as it goes through the restaurant. I wanted to order cocktails to my room, but they were not available on the room service menu, and the hotel staff went back and forth on permitting me to just order it directly from the bar. It's a small issue on balance.

The best hotel for me in Madrid, located exactly in front of the beautiful Opera building and in a calm place in the city center of Madrid (I know, it’s hard to believe). Fantastic rooms, very keen on details and it shows their attention to the smallest details in decoration. Cafe and restaurants are top of the line. Right in front of the hotel you will find It has a taxi stop, metro connection and very close to SOL plaza. To make it even better, the staff are simply wonderful and very helpful. It can’t get any better than this.

I think it’s only issue is the price range, very high, although at the same range of the rest of the good hotels. This is more an issue of the hotel industry and their high abusive prices in general.

The staff at reception were friendly & helpful The rooms were a good size , clean and comfortable beds , Aircon that worked well , view of the plaza , nespresso machine , fully stocked fridge and edibles , good towels , robes , slippers and an ironing board / hairdryer and a vanity bag with essentials . The rooftop pool was small but refreshing and the seating / pool loungers were comfortable The pool was definitely a plus as it was extremely hot . We also were able to store our luggage in a room the day we checked out as we only left in the evening so it was very convenient. They had a Michelin star restaurant in the hotel

We liked everything Just one issue was when we showered there would be water in the room afterwards , which we needed to mop up but it was not a major problem , but the hotel needs to sort out the issue

Very good location, within walking distance to all the attractions, clean rooms and very nice staff. Maria at the front desk was super helpful with her restaurant recommendations; she even helped us book a spot at one of the flamenco shows which was a great experience. Overall, would definitely stay there again.

The rooftop was nice but the pool was only knee high. Also, the prices at the rooftop was way higher than the bar downstairs (where they bring the drinks from) which made no sense.

Excellent location, beautifully appointed hotel, room comfortable and breakfast food offering good. Reception staff very friendly and welcoming. Helpful with queries on places to eat/music.

Service at breakfast over the two weekend days of our stay was excellent. Friendly member of staff who remembered our preferences for tea and coffee and was smiling and very helpful. Unfortunately one member of staff on Monday (4th November) was not as helpful, did not seem friendly and needed further customer service training. The same problem was occurring with other guests too who were told to fetch their own milk etc from the buffet counter. The breakfast room was not busy and this could have been better handled in a hotel of this calibre.

The location is just the absolute best, in the middle of it all but not an overly loud square. Metro access right outside the hotel. The property is beautiful, seems brand new, clean and the pool bar / pool facility was a huge bonus when it got hot. The staff here were absolutely lovely, helpful, and courteous.

The plastic on the bottom of the shower door was broken, so the entire area outside of the shower got soaked with every shower. Also, the water didn’t drain from the 3rd floor. You know the feeling of having your feet in 2 inches of dirty water while showing? Not good.

The location is just perfect... The staff are very friendly, and the room was more spacious than a lot of hotels we stayed in across Europe. Along with the discount on Booking.com, as well as the free airport taxi ride, this was a very good decision. Would go again.

house keeping, and doors closing in the same floor could get a noisy, but that wasn't a big issue. Only some more quiet door closing would be nicer/

great location, super kind staff

the hotel is about 2 years old but our room was already falling apart. Partially missing isolation in the shower had lead to wet floors in front of the shower. Power outlet falling out of the wall. There were barely hooks where you could place f.e. the wet towels. Broken coffee machine. We found the fridge and the wardrobe on the last day only by chance because in general the minimalistic design (and hiding everything) was more important than comfort or common sense. There are no windows to open. No shelf in the shower. Oh, don't forget to pack your earplugs, even the side streets are super loud (because of party people) in the night.

Wheelchair accessible room had more space and a good shower seat at a good height. One of the better wheelchair accessible hotel rooms I’ve been to. The staff were very friendly and helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations and they even prepared a breakfast pack for us to take with us since we were leaving at 5am and had already paid for breakfast.

Nothing except the pool was very small. We spent our days exploring the city anyway so it didn’t matter.
